Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how language, actions, and speech are used in the LGBT community, especially lesbians. This study uses descriptive qualitative methodology. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained directly from informants through interviews, gestures, or behaviors related to the research variables. Secondary data comes from documents, notes, photos, recordings, or tables that support primary data. The results of this study allow us to conclude that assertive and expressive speech dominated the answers of this interview. The interviewees provided a lot of information, opinions, and their own experiences about language use in the LGBT community..

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai pengaruh ekspor dan impor terhadap laju pertumbuhan ekonomi di Sumatera Utara dari tahun 2001 hingga 2019. Secara khusus, penelitian ini memeriksa apakah ekspor dan impor memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Sumatera Utara selama periode tersebut. Data deret waktu yang dikumpulkan dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Sumatera Utara digunakan untuk analisis kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda. Untuk memahami dinamika antara pertumbuhan ekonomi regional dan perdagangan internasional, kerangka teoretis yang digunakan termasuk teori pertumbuhan berbasis ekspor Feder, teori neoklasik Solow, dan teori dependensi perdagangan Prebisch-Singer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekspor memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan secara statistik terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, sementara impor menunjukkan korelasi negatif dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,630 menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas ekspor dan impor menyumbang sekitar 63% dari variasi pertumbuhan ekonomi Sumatera Utara, dengan 37% tambahan disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor di luar model. Hasil ini sangat penting untuk ekonomi Sumatera Utara, yang didominasi oleh pertanian dan perkebunan. Sektor ini berkonsentrasi pada ekspor komoditas seperti kelapa sawit, karet, dan kopi, sementara mengimpor bahan baku dan barang modal untuk mendukung produksi lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to identify leading agricultural commodities in Simalungun Regency during the 2019–2023 period using the Location Quotient (LQ) approach. The analysis is based on secondary production data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Simalungun Regency and North Sumatra Province. LQ analysis is employed to measure the comparative advantage of agricultural commodities by comparing their production concentration at the regency level with that of the provincial level. Commodities with LQ values greater than one are classified as base (leading) commodities, indicating surplus production and export potential. The results show that the horticulture and plantation subsectors exhibit the strongest comparative advantages in Simalungun Regency. Key leading commodities include shallots, cabbage, long beans, large chili, and several vegetables in the horticulture subsector, as well as cocoa, oil palm, Arabica coffee, and Robusta coffee in the plantation subsector. Cocoa records exceptionally high LQ values, indicating a dominant production surplus relative to the provincial average. In contrast, most food crop commodities, except soybeans, and several livestock and fishery commodities remain non-base and primarily serve local demand. Overall, the findings indicate that Simalungun Regency possesses substantial potential to strengthen its regional economy through the development of leading agricultural commodities. Policy efforts should focus on value chain enhancement, infrastructure improvement, institutional strengthening of farmers, and market expansion to support sustainable agricultural-based regional development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha pada Mutiara Laundry,sebuah laundry modern dengan konsep self-service. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodemixed methods dan pendekatan deskriptif dengan menilai aspek pasar, teknis,manajemen, SDM, dan finansial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh aspeknon-finansial berada dalam kondisi layak, didukung lokasi strategis, fasilitas memadai,tata ruang rapi, serta pengelolaan operasional yang efektif. Secara aspek finansial, usahadinyatakan sangat layak dengan nilai NPV Rp 1.091.912.266, Net B/C 4,66, Gross B/C2,68, dan Payback Period 1,23 tahun. Dengan demikian, Mutiara Laundry ini dinyatakanlayak dan memiliki prospek pengembangan yang sangat baik.Kata kunci : Aspek pasar, Aspek Teknis, Aspek Keuangan, Aspek Manajemen, Aspek Sumber daya manusia
