Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the General Allocation Fund (DAU) and Regional Original Income (PAD) on the growth of regional spending in Medan City during the 2019-2023 period. Regional development requires sufficient financing, and DAU and PAD are the two main sources of income which are very influential in regional financial planning. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative analysis with econometric models. Multiple linear regression tests were carried out to analyze the relationship between DAU, PAD and regional expenditure, after going through classic assumption tests such as normality, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests. The research results show that although DAU and PAD contribute to regional spending, statistically their influence is not significant at the 95% confidence level. The regression model used has an R-square of 0.897, which shows that 89.7% of the variability in regional spending can be explained by independent variables. This research provides recommendations for designing fiscal policies that are more efficient in managing regional income sources to support sustainable development in Medan City.

Abstract

Amira House, sebuah usaha penyedia layanan penginapan yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Asahan, menghadapi tantangan dalam mengelola proses reservasi secara manual. Saat ini, sistem reservasi yang digunakan masih menggunakan pencatatan konvensional berbasis kertas, yang menyebabkan berbagai kendala seperti keterlambatan konfirmasi, kesalahan data, dan kurangnya informasi tentang ketersediaan kamar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi reservasi berbasis web menggunakan framework CodeIgniter. CodeIgniter dipilih karena sifatnya yang open-source, menggunakan pola desain MVC (Model-View-Controller), serta memiliki kinerja yang cepat dan efisien dalam pengembangan aplikasi web. Sistem informasi ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses reservasi, pengelolaan data, dan meminimalisir kesalahan operasional di Amira House. Dengan penerapan sistem ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan melalui pelayanan yang lebih cepat dan akurat, serta memberikan kemudahan dalam pengelolaan operasional penginapan

Abstract

Dalam industri konten digital, peran editor memiliki kedudukan yang penting, terutama di lingkungan kerja seperti agency creative yang menangani berbagai kebutuhan visual klien. Creative Agency Buka Project, editor tidak hanya menjalankan fungsi teknis dalam pengolahan gambar dan video, tetapi juga berperan menjaga keselarasan konsep dan kualitas visual sesuai content planner yang sudah dibuat dengan standar klien. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk mengidentifikasi model peran, tahapan kerja, serta tantangan dan hambatan yang dihadapi editor dalam proses produksi konten. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa editor dituntut untuk tetap adaptif terhadap perkembangan tren, bekerja dengan bahan mentah yang tidak selalu ideal, serta menghadapi keterbatasan perangkat kerja. Kolaborasi antar tim dan komunikasi yang intensif menjadi kunci utama untuk menghasilkan konten yang konsisten, layak tayang, dan sesuai ekspektasi.

Abstract

The case of adulterated fuel (BBM) involving the Pertamina brand is a serious issue that impacts economic stability, consumer safety, and the credibility of state-owned enterprises. This study aims to analyze the perpetrators' modus operandi, the economic and social impacts of the adulterated practice, and the efforts made by the authorities and Pertamina in handling the case. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with literature studies and mass media analysis as the main data sources. The results of the analysis indicate that the adulterated practice is generally carried out by mixing official fuel with low-quality materials to obtain greater profits, which has a negative impact on vehicle performance and the environment. In addition, weak supervision of fuel distribution is a major loophole for violations. This study recommends strengthening the supervisory system, increasing distribution transparency, and public education about the dangers of adulterated fuel. Integrated handling between Pertamina, law enforcement officials, and the community is needed to prevent similar cases in the future.

Abstract

Abstract: Universities are responsible for creating graduates who have adequate skills. Measuring student graduation rates is considered a critical parameter in achieving this goal. This research was conducted to determine the number of graduates from each classification, namely graduating on time or not accurately. Bearing in mind that STMIK Royal Kisaran already has B accreditation. The success of students in graduating on time has a significant impact on the assessment elements in the accreditation process of higher education institutions. The use of the Naïve Bayes Algorithm method in applying data mining can be a solution to overcome the problem of determining the number of graduations. Naïve Bayes is a technique or method in the field of Data Mining that uses probability and statistics to make predictions. This method is able to project opportunities for future events based on past experience. The dataset in this research is STMIK Royal Kisaran Student Graduation data in 2017 as many as 608 student data which were divided into 2 (two) with a ratio of 70:30, 425 training data and 183 testing data managed to obtain an accuracy value of 61%. The Naïve Bayes algorithm produces the following results: precision for the negative class is 45%, for the positive class is 96%; recall for the negative class was 97%, for the positive class was 44%; f1-score for the negative class is 62%, for the positive class is 61%; and accuracy of 61%.Keywords: Graduation; Data Mining; Naïve Bayes Abstrak: Perguruan tinggi bertanggung jawab untuk menciptakan lulusan yang memiliki keterampilan yang memadai. Pengukuran tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa dianggap sebagai parameter kritis dalam mencapai sasaran ini. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menentukan jumlah kelulusan dari masing-masing klasifikasi yaitu Lulus tepat waktu atau tidak secara akurat. Mengingat bahwa STMIK Royal Kisaran sudah memiliki akreditasi B. Keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam lulus tepat waktu memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap penilaian unsur dalam proses akreditasi institusi pendidikan tinggi. Penggunaan metode Algoritma Naïve Bayes dalam penerapan data mining dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan penentuan jumlah kelulusan. Naïve Bayes adalah sebuah teknik atau metode dalam bidang Data Mining yang menggunakan probabilitas dan statistik untuk melakukan prediksi. Metode ini mampu memproyeksikan peluang kejadian di masa mendatang berdasarkan pengalaman masa lalu. Dataset dalam penelitian ini adalah data Kelulusan Mahasiswa STMIK Royal Kisaran pada tahun 2017 sebanyak 608 data mahasiswa yang dibagi menjadi 2 (dua) dengan rasio 70:30, 425 data training dan 183 data testing berhasil memperoleh nilai akurasi sebesar 61%. Algoritma Naïve Bayes menghasilkan hasil sebagai berikut: presisi untuk kelas negatif sebesar 45%, untuk kelas positif sebesar 96%; recall untuk kelas negatif sebesar 97%, untuk kelas positif sebesar 44%; f1-score untuk kelas negatif sebesar 62%, untuk kelas positif sebesar 61%; dan akurasi sebesar 61%.Kata kunci: Kelulusan; Data Mining; Naïve Bayes
