Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated instruction strategies at public junior high schools in Pubian District, Central Lampung. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and principals, and analysis of teaching documents. The findings reveal that the implementation of differentiated instruction remains suboptimal in four key aspects: content, process, product, and learning environment. Most teachers have not conducted diagnostic assessments, resulting in uniform content delivery regardless of students’ readiness levels. The teaching process is still dominated by lecture-based methods with limited learning style adaptation. Although task variations exist, students are not given the freedom to choose products that match their interests and strengths. Moreover, the classroom environment is not fully inclusive, as teachers tend to focus more on high-achieving students. These results highlight the need for systemic support, teacher training, and policy reinforcement to promote inclusive, student-centered learning aligned with the goals of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Methods in Islamic education are crucial for effective learning, spiritual growth, and character development. Rooted in religious, biological, psychological, and sociological principles, these methods encompass classical approaches like Imla', qira'ah, lectures, discussions, and memorization, alongside contemporary methods like demonstrations, assignments, sociodrama, question-and-answer sessions, exemplary behavior, and habituation. Education outside school (Pendidikan Luar Sekolah) further complements Islamic education, providing lifelong learning opportunities. By employing this diverse range of methods, educators can effectively impart knowledge, instill Islamic values, and prepare individuals to contribute meaningfully to society.

Abstract

Jurnal ini menyajikan penjelasan tentang peran pendidikan agama Islam dalam proses pembentukan karakter religius siswa di MAN 2 Kota Makassar. Secara umum pendidikan agama Islam merupakan landasan terpenting yang dapat memicu terwujudnya pendidikan karakter pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah data primer, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Namun pendidikan merupakan komponen terpenting dalam pembentukan karakter karena pendidikan dapat membentuk kepribadian dan jati diri anak, ada pula yang berpendapat bahwa ada anggapan yang efektif untuk pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Apalagi dalam mewujudkan karakter religius, seseorang dapat memiliki nilai-nilai kebaikan dalam dirinya sehingga dapat diterjemahkan dalam perilakunya sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu disinilah makna pembentukan karakter dalam pendidikan agama Islam yang diajarkan di lingkungan sekolah merupakan salah satu nilai pendukung yang melandasi pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

Filsafat adalah sebuah cabang pengetahuan dengan fokus pada pemahaman akan keberadaan, pengetahuan, nilai, akal, pikiran, serta bahasa. Di samping itu, filsafat mengeksplorasi tentang realitas, eksistensi, dan sifat kebenaran. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan evolusi serta relasi antara filsafat ilmu pengetahuan dan filsafat Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, menghimpun informasi melalui studi literatur guna mencapai sasaran tersebut. Temuan dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa evolusi filsafat ilmu tidak terlepas dari sejarah perkembangan sains, yang menjadi fondasi penting dalam evolusi pengetahuan. Filsafat ilmu mengandung unsur-unsur seperti ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi. Sementara itu, filsafat Islam berakar pada doktrin Islam, yang bersumber pada wahyu dari Allah sebagai kebenaran yang mutlak. Filsafat ilmu berperan sebagai katalis, memandangkan semua teori dan prinsip sudah tersaji dalam Al-Qur’an. Oleh karena itu, filsafat ilmu dan filsafat Islam dapat berkolaborasi dalam mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan yang berdasarkan pada kebenaran yang mutlak.

Abstract

This study investigates how Islamic boarding schools respond to digital transformation while maintaining religious traditions and core Islamic values. The research focuses on identifying leadership strategies, management practices, and learning innovations implemented to harmonize technological advancement with pesantren traditions. Employing a qualitative intrinsic case study design, the study was conducted in three Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia: Al-Muayyad (Solo), Nurul Jadid (Probolinggo), and IMMIM Putra (Makassar). Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, and subsequently examined using thematic analysis based on the Braun and Clarke framework. The findings reveal that digital transformation in pesantren extends beyond the adoption of digital tools and involves a fundamental shift in leadership orientation and educational management. Kyai play a central role as value-based transformational leaders who guide digital innovation while safeguarding spiritual principles and ethical learning traditions. The institutions developed hybrid learning models that integrate classical halaqah and tahfidz practices with digital platforms such as e-learning systems and online da’wah media. However, challenges remain, particularly related to uneven technological infrastructure and limited digital literacy among educators. This study proposes a conceptual model of value-based leadership in pesantren digital transformation and offers strategic insights for Islamic education policy development that remains adaptive to technological change while rooted in traditional values.
