Abstract

The community service activity through the UKMPR New Member Training and Reception aims to introduce student organizations to new members while building organizational management skills, public speaking, and ethics. This activity involved 45 participants, four coaches, and lasted for six days, including preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The materials provided included an introduction to SMEs, leadership concepts, resource management, public communication, and organizational ethical values. The location of the activity at the Suranadi Temple Banquet Hall was chosen to create a new atmosphere that supported participant engagement. The results showed that participants were able to understand the vision, mission, and structure of the organization, develop public speaking skills, and apply organizational ethics. Factors driving success include the support of competent coaches and the enthusiasm of participants. However, there were obstacles such as limited facilities and infrastructure, low student participation, and the shy attitude of participants. Proposed solutions include improved facilities, innovative training methods, and a more interactive approach. This activity succeeded in improving participants' understanding of student organizations while equipping them with important relevant skills to support their future personal and professional development.

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) individu ini dilaksanakan di Dusun Karang Mejeti dengan tujuan utama meningkatkan kreativitas sisya pasraman melalui kegiatan daur ulang dan kerajinan tangan berbasis lingkungan. Fokus pengabdian diarahkan pada pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal, seperti botol plastik bekas, manik-manik, dan dedaunan, untuk menghasilkan produk bernilai estetika, edukatif, dan ekonomis. Kegiatan ini juga bertujuan menanamkan kesadaran lingkungan dan membentuk jiwa kewirausahaan sejak dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan praktik langsung. Program kerja terdiri dari tiga kegiatan utama: pembuatan celengan dari botol bekas, gelang manik-manik, dan ecoprint menggunakan teknik pounding dan kukus. Setiap kegiatan dirancang untuk mendorong keterlibatan aktif sisya, meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, serta mengasah kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan inovatif. Pemberian reward kepada peserta terbaik menjadi strategi motivasional yang efektif dalam meningkatkan semangat dan kualitas hasil karya. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa sisya pasraman mampu mengolah bahan sederhana menjadi produk yang menarik dan bernilai jual. Kegiatan ecoprint secara khusus memberikan pengalaman baru dalam memanfaatkan tanaman lokal sebagai pewarna alami, sekaligus memperkenalkan konsep ekonomi hijau yang berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berhasil membentuk karakter sisya yang kreatif, mandiri, dan peduli lingkungan, serta memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pengembangan ekonomi kreatif di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

This individual Community Service Program was carried out in Sangiang Hamlet with the main objective of enhancing the creativity of sisya pasraman through eco-friendly activities, specifically the creation of ecoprint bags. The program focused on utilizing leaves and local plants as primary materials to produce works with aesthetic, educational, and economic value. It also aimed to foster environmental awareness and instill an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. A descriptive qualitative method was applied, involving observation, documentation, and hands-on practice. The program centered on ecoprint bag-making using pounding and steaming techniques, designed to actively engage the sisya, improve technical skills, and develop creative and innovative thinking. The resulting ecoprint products were marketed as an effort to introduce the potential of the local creative economy. The outcomes indicated that the sisya pasraman successfully transformed simple materials into marketable products, while also showing improvements in discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence. The ecoprint activity further provided new experiences in utilizing local plants as natural dyes and promoted the concept of sustainable green economy. Overall, the program effectively nurtured creative, independent, and environmentally conscious characters among the sisya, while making a tangible contribution to the development of the local creative economy.

Abstract

Simple financial management training is an effort to improve the financial literacy of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Karang Lamper Hamlet, Jagaraga Indah Village, Kediri District, West Lombok Regency. This program is motivated by the poor practice of financial recording, where most entrepreneurs still rely on memory and mix personal and business finances. This activity aims to improve the ability of MSMEs to record income, expenses, and calculate business profits independently. The implementation method includes initial observation, socialization, simple cash book training through personal visits, and evaluation by distributing questionnaires and directly checking the results of the recording. A total of 10 MSMEs participated in this program. The evaluation results showed that 70% of participants began recording finances regularly, 100% felt helped in managing business finances, and 90% considered the cash book easy to use. This program has proven effective in building awareness and skills in financial recording, although further assistance is still needed to maintain consistent recording. The personal approach-based training has proven relevant to local needs and can have a positive impact on the sustainability of micro-enterprises in rural areas.

Abstract

This study examines the role of liquidity and profitability in shaping the capital structure of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk over the 2015–2024 period. Using 40 quarterly observations derived from published financial statements, this research applies multiple linear regression to analyze the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). The results indicate that CR has a significant negative effect on DER, suggesting that stronger liquidity reduces reliance on debt financing. NPM also shows a significant negative influence on DER, highlighting the importance of operational profitability in strengthening internal funding capacity. In contrast, ROA does not exhibit a significant effect on DER, implying that asset-based profitability does not necessarily translate into lower leverage decisions. Simultaneously, CR, ROA, and NPM explain a substantial proportion of the variation in DER. These findings contribute to capital structure theory by demonstrating that liquidity and operational profitability play a more decisive role than asset efficiency in determining leverage, particularly in mature consumer goods firms facing extreme leverage trends in recent periods.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Current Ratio (CR), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Return on Assets (ROA) at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk during the period 2016-2024. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach using quarterly data (n = 36 observations) obtained from the company’s official financial statements and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 27, accompanied by classical assumption tests to ensure model validity. The results show that TATO has a significant negative effect on ROA (p = 0.006; t = -2.965), indicating that increased asset efficiency does not necessarily lead to higher profitability due to high depreciation expenses and long-term digital infrastructure investments. Furthermore, CR has no significant effect on ROA (p = 0.677; t = -0.420), suggesting that liquidity is not a primary determinant of profitability in the telecommunication industry with stable cash flows. Meanwhile, DER has a significant negative effect on ROA (p = 0.045; t = -2.089), implying that excessive debt dependence reduces profit efficiency through increased interest expenses. Simultaneously, TATO, CR, and DER significantly influence ROA (F = 5.479; p = 0.004) with an R² value of 0.339, indicating that these variables explain 33.9% of profitability variation. These findings highlight the importance of capital structure management and operational cost efficiency in maintaining profitability amid digital transformation.
