Abstract

This aimed to create a toroughful inductive study on the holistic parenting phenomenon based on Tri Hita Karana in developing characters of younger children. Method used in this just case study qualitative by doing inductive study. Started from intensive data collection about the said phenomenon, thus maintain the credibility of data collected. Method used in data collection was observation of parenting phenomenon, grouping data based on paterns, arranging general concept, pincipal and proposition based on qualitative data analisis. This study found that holistic parenting based on Tri Hita Karana resulted in children with holistic self competences and parenting model based on 9 characteristis: love to God, independence and responsibility, honesty, politeness, willingness to sacrifice, persistent, fair, humble, dan tolerance. Outcome of this study could be used for increasing and developing parenting pattern based on Tri Hita Karana philosophy to help raised Hindu generation with good character. Keywords: Parenting, Holistic, Tri Hita Karana, Character Penelitian Ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan studi induktif yang kuat pada fenomena pengasuhan holistik berdasarkan Tri Hita Karana dalam mengembangkan karakter anak-anak yang lebih muda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus kualitatif dengan melakukan studi induktif. Dimulai dari pengumpulan data intensif tentang fenomena tersebut, sehingga menjaga kredibilitas data yang terkumpul. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi fenomena parenting, pengelompokan data berdasarkan patern, penyusunan konsep umum, pincipal dan proposisi berdasarkan analisis data kualitatif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pola asuh holistik berdasarkan Tri Hita Karana menghasilkan anak-anak dengan kompetensi diri secara holistik dan model pengasuhan berdasarkan 9 karakteristis: cinta kepada Tuhan, kemandirian dan tanggung jawab, kejujuran, kesopanan, kesediaan berkorban, gigih, adil, rendah hati, dan toleransi. . Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan pola pengasuhan berdasarkan filosofi Tri Hita Karana untuk membantu membangkitkan generasi Hindu dengan karakter yang baik. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendekatan komunikatif pembelajaran bahasa Inggris komunikasi pada mahasiswa Jurusan Dharma Duta Sekolah Tinggi Agama Hindu Negeri Gde Pudja Mataram. Fenomena tersebut dilandasi oleh alasan bahwa fungsi bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi, sehingga proses komunikasi dalam pembelajaran yang menggunakan bahasa Inggris lebih aktif. Penelitian ini difokuskan tiga aspek, yaitu (1) bentuk komunikasi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris komunikasi; (2) pendekatan komunikatif pembelajaran bahasa Inggris komunikasi; (3) implikasi pendekatan komunikatif dan relevansi konten materi ajar bahasa Inggris komunikasi dengan komunikasi Hindu. Penelitian ini dirancang dalam bentuk deskriftif kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah Teori S-M-C-R dan Teori Konstruktivisme.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk komunikasi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris komunikasi adalah komunikasi verbal dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris sebagai alat komunikasi dalam bentuk komunikasi kelompok. Pendekatan komunikatif mampu membuat mahasiswa untuk lebih aktif karena pendekatan ini lebih menekankan praktek penggunaan fungsi bahasa itu sendiri melalui keaktifan dan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Pendekatan komunikatif ini menggunakan metode diskusi dengan penugasan membuat makalah dan dipersentasikan dalam bahasa Inggris sehingga menciptakan keaktifan mahasiswa dalam berkomunikasi. Implikasi pendekatan komunikatif pembelajaran bahasa Inggris komunikasi adalah berbahasa karena bahasa merupakan aplikasi dari komunikasi. Dalam pendekatan komunikatif implikasi paling nyata yaitu harus ada interaksi verbal, baik antara pengajar dengan peserta didik maupun antar peserta didik. Relevansi konten materi ajar bahasa Inggris komunikasi dengan komunikasi Hindu adalah bahasa Ingris diajarkan untuk berkomunikasi dengan materi ajar yang berkaitan dengan Hindu, baik dari segi nilai, ajaran, dan budaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada tiga hal yaitu: 1) Implementasi pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan non akademik; 2) hambatan dalam implementasi pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan non akademik; 3) Persepsi Brahmacari, orang tua Brahmacari dan pengurus Pasraman terkait dengan implementasi pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan non akademik di Pasraman Swasta Pranawa Abian Tubuh. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif yang bersifat interpretatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Para informan berasal dari pengurus Pasraman, Acarya, Brahmacari dan orang tua Brahmacari yang ditentukan secara purposif. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, paparan, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Selanjutnya keabsahan data diuji dengan validitas internal, validitas eksternal, reliabilitas, dan obyektivitas. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Implementasi pembelajarannya yaitu: a) perencanaannya berbentuk non formal; b) pengorganisasian menyesuaikan situasi serta kondisi dengan Brahmacari yang dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok; c) pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan fase belajar observasional; d) pengawasan dilakukan secara internal; e) evaluasi dilakukan secara bertahap; 2) Hambatannya yaitu: a) belum ada kurikulum; b) pedoman perencanaan pembelajaran belum tersedia; c) kehadiran Brahmacari kurang konsisten; d) media pembelajaran yang bermasalah; e) keinginan belajar yang dinamis; f) perbedaan tingkat motivasi Brahmacari; g) pengaruh negatif smartphone; h) kurangnya supervisi pembelajaran oleh pihak eksternal; i) belum ada instrumen pengawasan; j) belum ada instrumen pengevaluasian; 3) Persepsinya yaitu: a) Brahmacari mampu mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik; b) Brahmacari aktif berpartisipasi pada event perlombaan; c) Brahmacari aktif berpartisipasi pada kegiatan sosial keagamaan; d) orang tua Brahmacari menunjukan sikap yang respek; e) adanya perubahan pola perilaku dari Brahmacari; f) prestasi non akademik Brahmacari mengalami peningkatan; g) terdongkraknya eksistensi Pasraman Swasta Pranawa Abian Tubuh.

Abstract

This research was conducted in suranadi village which focuses on character building from an early age., The purpose of this study is to find out how the character formation of generation Alpha through the teachings of Pañca sradha. Character building is done through habituation of positive things by means of implementing each penca sradha teaching in the life or daily activities of children.  The formation of children's character will be very influential, especially in crossing the transition period experienced by the alpha generation, namely in childhood to adolescence and adolescence to adulthood. Character building through the teachings of pañca sradha has a positive impact on children, as seen from the attitude and behavior of children who become better and accustomed to doing positive things in children's daily lives. The method in this study uses qualitative methods. The results of this study show that character building in alpha generation children through the teachings of pañca sradha produces good and bad children's characters. The character of children who are not good is caused because parents are not able to be good role models in the family environment. The author suggests that parents are better able to become examples or role models that can be imitated by children so that the formation of the character of alpha generation children through the teachings of pañca sradha. So that his character is formed into a successor of a quality and useful nation for the nation and state of Indonesia.

Abstract

Education is a process of changing the attitudes and behavior of a person or group of people in an effort to improve their identity through guidance in seeking knowledge where each person needs to go through a process in order to become the best in a life that can fulfill their needs. So, the process of seeking knowledge is very beneficial for the future so that you can go through a process that will be a challenge in your future life in order to have high competitive value. Education or upbringing is a planned basic effort to create an atmosphere of learning and learning so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, morals, life sciences, general knowledge and the skills they need for society based on the Law. Invite the learning of the knowledge, skills, and habits of a group of people that are passed from one generation to the next through teaching, training, or research.

Abstract

Building the character of a nation starts from the level of education that exists in Indonesia, which can be obtained through formal, informal and non-formal education levels. Building character in children is not only done by educational institutions such as schools but can be instilled by each child's parents. Character education is a process of instilling human values in everyday life in order to become a person with noble character, morals, self-confidence, politeness, and tolerance towards other people. This research examines or analyzes building the character of Hindu students based on Tri Hita Karana. The focus of the study includes character education, Tri Hita Karana, and Hindu students. The aim of this research is to discuss the values contained in the Tri Hita Karana teachings in building the character of students in the city of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara and the forms of their implementation in life at family, school and in society as a high-quality young generation of Hindus. The method used to examine the problems in this research uses a qualitative descriptive method and is supported by various literature related to the teachings of the Tri Hita Karana concept. The results obtained in this research are that building students' character must be taught as early as possible and the implementation of Tri HIta Karana can be done in three ways, namely the harmonious relationship between humans and God (Parhyangan), the harmonious relationship between humans and humans (pawongan), and the relationship between humans and God. natural environment (pabelasan). So that Hindu students have a character that is based on the teachings of dharma and is guided by the sacred Veda.

Abstract

This research explores and explores the low access to education for Hindu women amidst the patriarchal culture of the Balinese tribal community on the island of Lombok, Indonesia. A very strong patriarchal system limits women's roles in various aspects of life, including access to education, the economy, and participation in decision making, at important Hindu religious events. The research was conducted in West Lombok in the Balinese tribal community. The method used is a qualitative phenomenological method with observation, interview and documentation techniques for data collection. The main problem explored is how access to education for Hindu women is in the midst of a society that is very strong in its patriarchal culture. Education is identified as the main key in changing social phenomena, especially the marginalization of women's access to education in a patriarchal culture. Women who receive an education have the potential to break free from traditional limitations, build careers, and support community development. The importance of empowering women through education as an investment in sustainable development is expected to contribute to the local economy and improve family welfare. The results of this research show that resistance to social change regarding equality between men and women, especially regarding women's access to education in a patriarchal culture, is still quite strong, so that change still requires full support from the government and community organizations, as well as community leaders. This research concludes that access to education for Hindu women is still subordinate to that of men. Achieving justice and equality in access to education requires a holistic approach that involves collaboration between government, non-government organizations, and local communities, as well as community leaders. Increasing women's access to education is not only important, it is also a necessity to achieve sustainable social and economic development in advancing civilization.

Abstract

Religious values are belief values that originate from a person's belief in God within oneself. Religious values are very necessary and useful to implement because they are in the form of a person's attitudes and behavior, especially for students who are obedient to religious teachings in everyday life. In this research, teachers must have an important role in instilling and fostering students' religious values so that students have good attitudes and characteristics. In this research, students are expected to have good religious values and have noble character in everyday life, especially in the school, family and community environment. Teacher strategies in increasing students' religious values are very important for every teacher, especially Hindu Religious Education teachers, so that it is easy to create religious or religious values for each student. The results obtained from this research are that students can form religious values obtained from various strategies of a teacher, especially Hindu religious education teachers, who slowly form religious values in students indirectly. Students can live/coxist with friends who have different beliefs, but these differences will not exist for students who succeed in instilling religious (religious/divine) values within themselves.

Abstract

Education is an inseparable part of human life and plays an important role in the development of every era. One of the educational institutions that can support the ongoing education process is pasraman. Pasraman is a place where the teaching and learning process or education process takes place. Pasraman itself places more emphasis on self-discipline, developing noble morals and traits of being diligent, likes to work hard, restrains one's desires and likes to help others. The quality of learning in pasraman also plays an important role in realizing the goal of good and quality education, especially for Hindus. So, to achieve this quality of learning, appropriate strategies are needed that can be carried out more easily. This research aims to find out the strategies of pasraman managers, especially pasraman heads, to improve the quality of learning at pasraman so that the learning process at pasraman can take place well and be sustainable. In this way, a young generation of quality Hindus can be formed. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The importance of the results of this research is as a guide for the wider community to be able to find out strategies that can be implemented to improve the quality of learning, especially in pasraman.

Abstract

Character education is very important for early childhood because it will later be applied in the community in carrying out social activities. As a phenomenon that is often seen, especially among teenagers, many children commit acts of violence, murder, do not respect their parents, hold demonstrations in the wrong way and do not comply with applicable regulations, the spiritual level of children is low and many more. This is caused by a lack of character formation from an early age because if character education is lacking from an early age then in adolescence they will be quickly affected by promiscuity or bad relationships and this can damage the future and reduce the quality of human resources. This study focuses on character formation, implementation, Tri Kaya Parisudha and early childhood. The aim of this research is to improve the quality of human resources from the implementation of the Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings. The method used in this research, namely qualitative, emphasizes analysis on deductive and inductive inference processes as well as analysis of observed phenomena using scientific logic in formal and argumentative thinking in research on the implementation of teachers' chess teachings in building the character of early childhood. If character education through the Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings can be implemented well, it can reduce cases that occur due to lack of character formation at an early age. It's different if you instill good character from an early age then it will become a habit and in adolescence you can sort out the good things and the bad things that can be imitated so that you can produce quality human resources.
