This study aims to determine the influence of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning assisted by Glide media on the competency of writing anecdotal texts of grade X TKRA students at SMKS PGRI 3 Malang City. The research uses a experiment method with a quasi-experimental design of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data were analyzed through normality test, independent t-test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, and Mann–Whitney U test<. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value < 0.001, while the Mann–Whitney U test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.007 < 0.05. The findings showed a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. Thus, CTL learning assisted by Glide media has a significant effect on improving the competence of writing anecdotal texts and is suitable for use as an interactive learning medium at SMKS. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbantuan media Glide terhadap kompetensi menulis teks anekdot peserta didik kelas X TKRA di SMKS PGRI 3 Kota Malang. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain kuasi eksperimen Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, independent t-test, uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, dan uji Mann–Whitney U. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan data tidak berdistribusi normal dengan nilai Sig. < 0,001. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) < 0,001, sedangkan uji Mann–Whitney U menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,007 < 0,05. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran CTL berbantuan media Glide berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi menulis teks anekdot dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif di SMKS.
