Abstract

Writing is a skill that must be mastered by students. These language skills are useful for writing a thesis as a final assignment for students to get a bachelor's degree (master and / or doctorate). In thesis writing, spelling, and sentences used are standard and effective sentences so that readers easily understand the intent of the author. This study aims to describe mistakes in writing spelling, terminology, and writing mistakes in the thesis of UB's Faculty of Arts students. This study uses qualitative research with a case study design to obtain a description of the data. The results of this study reveal that the most common language errors are found, namely spelling errors used by students in the thesis. The spelling mistakes were 52.03% the use of punctuation, 39.53% word writing, and 0.08% letter writing, while sentence writing errors were found in aspects of structural incompatibility, inequality, inaccuracy, incoherence, disparity, and incoherence in the sentence .

Abstract

A tradition that offers a magical element in its implementation always attracts the human senses. This magical element is one of the sacred factors in a tradition. One tradition that is thick with elements of sacredness is the tradition of boredom in the village of Alas Malang, Banyuwangi. Therefore, this research is written as an effort to maintain the existence of the kebo-keboan tradition so that it is in line with the development of the tourism world in Banyuwangi and to explain apocalyptic values ​​in a tradition called kebo-keboan. This apocalyptic value is a form of harmony between humans and nature in the implementation of the boredom tradition. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using ethnographic method approach. The data in this research is the speech or behavior of the people of Alas Malang Village related to apocalyptic elements. In collecting data, researchers used observation and interview techniques. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, the researcher took several steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show the stages in the implementation of the kebo-keboan tradition which are divided into three, namely the opening, the core in the form of the earth ider, and the closing. Literary apocalyptic in the cultural tradition is described in the figure of Mbah Buyut Karti who is considered a hero, the agricultural environment and pageblug as an apocalyptic environment, and whisik as a vision or prophecy.

Abstract

Menurut Permendikbud No. 18 Tahun 2007 tentang Sertifikasi Guru dalam Jabatan, guru harus selalu berupaya meningkatkan kompetensi profesionalnya. Salah satunya dengan karya pengembangan profesi berupa artikel ilmiah. Artikel ilmiah menjadi syarat wajib guru dengan pangkat III/b dan kenaikan pangkat guru dari golongan IV/a ke IV/b. Untuk itu, keterampilan menulis artikel ilmiah menjadi penting bagi guru saat ini. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 8 dan 15 Agustus 2015 pada guru SMP Shalahuddin Malang. Pelatihan tahap I difokuskan pada kegiatan interogasi yaitu pemahaman kaidah penulisan artikel ilmiah dan kegiatan elaboratif dengan fokus mengembangkan ide menulis artikel ilmiah berbasis PTK. Selanjutnya pada tahap II, pelatihan difokuskan ke praktik penulisan dan penyuntingan artikel ilmiah berbasis PTK. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis artikel ilmiah berbasis penelitian tindakan kelas, meliputi tahap 1) interogasi, 2) elaboratif, 3) penulisan, dan 4) penyuntingan, baik dari segi proses maupun hasil. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah guru telah mahir menulis artikel ilmiah berbasis PTK pada bagian judul, abstrak, kata kunci, hasil penelitian, simpulan, saran, dan daftar rujukan. Namun, para guru masih mengalami hambatan pada bagian pendahuluan, metode, dan pembahasan.

Abstract

The research focused on the efforts of the Mount Kelud community in disaster mitigation from the perspective of the story of Dewi Kilisuci, one of the central figures of the legend of Mount Kelud. Ecofeminism viewed that nature as a symbol of women. Mitigation efforts could be carried out through the society’s cultural wisdom by carrying out various traditional ceremonies. The ceremony would be closely related to various legendary figures that the community believes. In addition, it could also be done through symbolic efforts. The research applied a qualitative descriptive research method. Data were obtained through interviews as well as content analysis, and descriptive analysis techniques used to explain stories and disaster mitigation efforts of society’s cultural wisdom based on symbolic ecofeminism. It is found that the story of the character of Dewi Kilisuci, where there are mitigation efforts carried out symbolically by her character, which until now is believed by the people. It also explains the role, value, and position of the figure of Dewi Kilisuci as a symbol of women in relation to ecofeminism. It is hoped that the research will be able to provide an understanding of the local cultural wisdom of the community and disaster mitigation efforts and find out how natural values are related to women.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The use of Youtube media can be used as material for student literacy. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of fables in Youtube media and the influence of fables in Youtube media in thematic learning. The use of fables in thematic learning has a role related to the ecosystem sub-theme. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data identification, data classification, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the use of fables with Youtube media is beneficial in the process of literary literacy in grade 5 (five) students so that students can retell the fables that have been played. In the thematic learning process students can answer the questions that have been provided. In the final stage, students are interested and do not feel bored in using fables in Youtube media as thematic learning from the results of the questionnaire that has been made. Keywords: Fable, Thematic, Literature ABSTRAK Penggunaan media Youtube dapat digunakan sebagai bahan literasi siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mendeskripsikan penggunaan fabel dalam media Youtube dan pengaruh fabel dalam media Youtube dalam pembelajaran tematik. Penggunaan fabel dalam pembelajaran tematik memiliki peran yang berkaitan dengan subtema ekosistem. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah identifikasi data, klasifikasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa penggunaan fabel dengan media Youtube bermanfaat dalam proses literasi sastra pada siswa kelas 5 (lima) sehingga siswa dapat menceritakan kembali cerita fabel yang sudah diputarkan. Dalam proses pembelajaran tematik siswa dapat menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang sudah disediakan. Di tahap akhir, siswa tertarik dan tidak merasa bosan dalam penggunaan fabel dalam media Youtube sebagai pembelajaran tematik dari hasil angket yang sudah dibuat. Kata Kunci: Fabel, Tematik, Literasi

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada proses belajar mengajar perlu diterapkannya metode atau media yang berbeda dari biasanya dengan harapan dapat menarik minat siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tahapan pembuatan video pembelajaran animasi, mendeskripsikan tahapan penerapan metode silaba melalui video pembelajaran animasi dalam kegiatan membaca siswa kelas 1A, dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan metode silaba melalui video pembelajaran animasi dalam kegiatan membaca siswa kelas 1A SDN Sumber Wetan I Probolinggo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1A SDN Sumber Wetan I Probolinggo yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga jalur analisis yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode silaba melalui video pembelajaran animasi tergolong baik. Hal itu terlihat dari 14 siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 98. Selain itu, hasil observasi juga menunjukkan bahwa 91% siswa memperhatikan serta menyimak pembelajaran dengan seksama, 95% siswa menyukai video pembelajaran animasi yang digunakan, dan 77% siswa aktif menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan. Kata Kunci: Silaba, Video Animasi, Membaca ABSTRACT In the teaching and learning process it is necessary to apply different methods or media than usual in the hope of attracting students' interest in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to describe the stages of making animated learning videos, describe the stages of applying the syllabus method through animated learning videos in class 1A students' reading activities, and describe the effect of applying the silaba method through animated learning videos on reading activities for class 1A students at SDN Sumber Wetan I Probolinggo. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The source of the data in this study were class 1A students at SDN Sumber Wetan I Probolinggo, which consisted of 22 students. Data collection techniques used through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collected in this study were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which consisted of three lines of analysis namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the application of the silaba method through animated learning videos was quite good. This can be seen from the 14 students who obtained an average score of 98. In addition, the results of observations also showed that 91% of students paid attention and listened to the lesson carefully, 95% of students liked the learning animation videos used, and 77% of students actively answered the questions asked given. Abstract

Literary works are the result of imitating or depicting the reality of phenomena that occur in human real life because literary works themselves are a reflection of society. Therefore, literature is an expression of human life that cannot be separated from the problems that exist in society. One of the literary works that express the reality of social life is a novel, one of which is a novel entitled Ayat-Ayat Cinta. This study aims to examine the description of social problems in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy and find out the driving factors of these social problems. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach to the sociology of literature. Data was collected using the technique of observing and noting using the observation method. The findings obtained in this study indicate that there are descriptions of social problems in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, in the form of discrimination, domestic violence, family disorganization, school bullying, prostitution, polygamy in the western paradigm, and poverty. The various social problems found indicate that factors are driving these social problems in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, such as psychological factors and cultural factors

Abstract

This research contains an analysis of the "Seandainya Aku Boleh Memilih" novel by Mira W, which tells of various aspects of life in a civilized environment. In the novel, there are various social problems, so it is fulfilled to research social deviations. Structural functionalism's theory of social deviance sees deviant behavior as a result of social structural pressures. The focus of this research is to describe the manifestations of social deviance behavior and the factors that cause these social deviations, which are constructed in the "Seandainya Aku Boleh Memilih" novel by Mira W. It includes the type of literature research with a qualitative descriptive approach based on the study of the sociology of literature. Data was collected through reading and note-taking techniques which produced data in the form of dialogue or monologue and narration from the data source of the novel entitled "Seandainya Aku Boleh Memilih" by Mira W. This research succeeded in deciphering the types of social deviance from the novel, namely sexual deviance, crime, and lifestyle deviance. While the factors that cause these social deviations are the inability to absorb cultural norms and deviant learning processes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yakni mendeskripsikan penilaian formatif yang dilaksanakan oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMK PGRI 3 Malang berdasarkan kurikulum yang digunakan yakni kurikulum merdeka belajar dan mendeskripsikan kendala yang dialami guru SMK 3 PGRI Malang dalam pelaksanaan penilaian formatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriprif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa prosedur evaluasi yang dilakukan Guru Bahasa Indonesia SMK PGRI 3 Malang terdiri atas perencanaan evaluasi, pelaksanaan evaluasi, monitoring pelaksanaan evaluasi, pengolahan data evaluasi dan pelaporan hasil evaluasi. Jenis evaluasi yang dilakukan pada menulis teks LHO yakni projek dan unjuk kerja. Hasil evaluasi didapat dari dua penilaian yakni menulis teks LHO dan presentasi, berdasarkan nilai yang didapat, seluruh siswa mendapatkan nilai diatas KKM sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pelaksanaan evaluasi berjalan dengan baik. Adapun dalam pelaksanaan evaluasi terdapat beberapa hambatan yang dialami oleh Guru yakni 1) kurangnya persiapan siswa dalam menghadapi soal. 2) keterlambatan dalam pengerjaan. 3) kurangnya persiapan siswa dalam penampilan.

Abstract

This research was prepared with the author's interest in knowing the symbolic meaning in the implementation of the toron tana tradition in Bataan Village, Tenggarang District, Bondowoso Regency. The toron tana tradition is still carried out and maintained by the people of Bataan Village to this day. This tradition is inherited from the ancestors of the Bataan Village community. This research is a type of field research using a qualitative approach, the subjects of this research are the local natives of Bataan Village, Tenggarang District, Bondowoso Regency. Methods of data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the understanding of the people of Bataan Village, Tenggarang District about the toron tana tradition is a ceremonial custom that must be carried out by the local community which is intended to be grateful for the blessings given by God, namely in the form of children who are born safely, healthy until the phase when children begin to learn to walk. The meanings of the symbols used in the Toron Tana Tradition are stepping on jadah, stepping on the ground, entering the chicken coop, and selecting the objects provided in the chicken coop. The meaning of the Toron Tana tradition has the meaning of forming children's character and a positive value for the good of children from parents in achieving goals, having a social spirit and teaching children about gratitude to God.
