Abstract

Tafsir bil-Ma'tsur is a method of interpreting Qur'anic verses using other Qur'anic verses, hadith, the accounts of the companions, and the tabi'in. This tafsir is also known as riwayah tafsir or manqul tafsir, meaning the interpretation of the Qur'an based on the accounts of the companions and tabi'in. This writing aims to explain what is meant by tafsir bil-Ma'tsur and the criteria that must be met to be called tafsir bil-Ma'tsur. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a literature review. The results of the study show that tafsir bil-Ma'tsur includes interpreting the Qur'an with the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and the sayings (qaul) of the companions. If the interpretation is done by the companions, it is called tafsir sahabat. If done by the tabi'in, it is called tafsir tabi'in. This study finds that tafsir bil-Ma'tsur is a method of interpreting the Qur'an using various reliable sources, ensuring a deep and accurate understanding of the Qur'anic text.

Abstract

The future-saving science paradigm from an Islamic perspective offers a holistic and ethical approach in dealing with global challenges such as climate change, resource shortages, and social inequality. This research aims to integrate scientific principles with Islamic teachings that emphasize balance, sustainability, and justice. The method used is literature analysis with a qualitative approach to explore Islamic principles in science and technology. Data collection techniques through the use of document study method, which involves analyzing documents relevant to the topic under study. The results of the study provide an explanation that Islamic teachings that prioritize tawhid (oneness of God), khilafah (stewardship of the earth), and maslahah (public good) can be the basis for the development of science that is oriented towards environmental sustainability and human welfare. This new paradigm should focus on multidisciplinary integration, ethics and community engagement in order to create sustainable and relevant solutions. The importance of interdisciplinary collaboration will help generate more comprehensive innovations in solving interrelated problems. Thus, this science paradigm transformation is not only essential for the preservation of the earth, but also for creating a just and harmonious future in accordance with Islamic values. The proposed science paradigm is not only based on rationality but also spirituality, creating a model of science that is more just, harmonious, and in line with Islamic values for the sustainability of the earth and human welfare.

Abstract

Education policy refers to decisions or regulations made by the government or educational institutions to organize, manage, and improve the education system in order to achieve the desired educational goals. The policy on enhancing students' critical thinking skills in Fiqh education at SMA Dayah Perbatasan Minhajussalam, Subulussalam City, still faces some challenges, thus requiring further investigation. This study aims to examine the education policy in improving students' critical thinking skills in Fiqh lessons at SMA Dayah Perbatasan Minhajussalam. The research methods used are qualitative descriptive by collecting data through interviews, observations and using the data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model including data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawn/verification. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results show that the education policy at SMA Dayah Perbatasan Minhajussalam has successfully integrated a critical thinking approach into the Fiqh curriculum. Additionally, the teaching of Fiqh at this school also supports the development of students' critical and reflective attitudes toward religious understanding and social context. This study recommends the need for increased teacher training to optimize teaching techniques that promote students' critical thinking skills within the context of Fiqh education.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh gaya belajar auditory terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian library research. Data dikumpulkan melalui identifikasi wacana dari berbagai referensi seperti buku, artikel, atau informasi lainnya yang relevan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis isi (content analiysis), yaitu teknik yang digunakan untuk mengkaji perilaku manusia secara tidak langsung melalui analisis terhadap komunikasi mereka seperti konsep, pendapat, teori-teori, prinsip-prinsip, surat kabar, buku, puisi, film, artikel majalah dan semua jenis komunikasi yang dapat dianalisis. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa gaya belajar auditory memberikan dampak positif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Temuan ini mencakup peningkatan kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, dan kreasi pada siswa yang belajar melalui gaya belajar auditory. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar pendidik dapat memanfaatkan juga media pembelajaran berbasis audio untuk mendukung peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas konsep pendidikan menurut Al-Qur’an meliputi makna tarbiyah, ta’lim, dan tazkiyah sebagai proses pembinaan jiwa, pemberian ilmu, dan pembentukan karakter secara menyeluruh. Permasalahan utama yang dikaji adalah bagaimana konsep pendidikan menurut Al-Qur’an tersebut dapat diimplementasikan dalam konteks pendidikan modern yang menghadapi tantangan global dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Fokus penelitian terletak pada pemahaman makna pendidikan menurut Al-Qur’an, peran guru dan orang tua dalam proses pendidikan, serta implikasi konsep tersebut terhadap sistem pendidikan kontemporer. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur, yang melibatkan analisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan kajian akademik terkait pendidikan Islam untuk menggali nilai-nilai dan prinsip pendidikan Qur’ani secara mendalam. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui telaah dokumen dan sumber pustaka yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan menurut Al-Qur’an menekankan pembentukan insan kamil yang beriman, berilmu, dan berakhlak mulia melalui integrasi ilmu agama dan ilmu umum, keseimbangan aspek spiritual dan intelektual, serta peran aktif guru dan orang tua sebagai pendidik dan teladan.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the dynamics of Islamic thought and civilization in Indonesia from the perspective of history and ideological transformation, as well as evaluate its relevance and application in Islamic education today. The problems studied include how the intellectual journey of Islam in Indonesia developed from the early days of Islam to the contemporary era, changes in the paradigm of thought from traditionalism to modernism and neo-modernism, and how this thinking can be the basis for the development of adaptive, inclusive and progressive Islamic education. The focus of the research is directed at the ideological transformation of Islamic thought and its relevance in the context of modern Islamic education that is able to shape character and national insight according to the dynamics of today's society. The method used is library research with a historical and intellectual approach, involving the collection, verification, interpretation, and historiography of literary sources such as books, scientific articles, and related documents. The results show that Islamic thought in Indonesia has experienced a dynamic and plural development, ranging from traditional influences that are accommodating to local culture, to the emergence of modern and neo-modern thought that emphasizes rationality, pluralism, and democracy. This transformation has implications for Islamic education, which is now increasingly integrating Islamic values with the needs of the times, forming people with character and insight, and strengthening an inclusive and adaptive national education system.

Abstract

The increasing dominance of credit-based mechanisms in contemporary Islamic sales has reshaped the structure and orientation of Sharīʿah-compliant commercial practices. While credit transactions are normatively permissible within Islamic law, their extensive use raises critical questions regarding the realization of transactional justice, which constitutes a fundamental principle of Islamic economics. This study examines the implications of the dominance of credit mechanisms in Islamic sales and evaluates their consistency with the ethical foundations of justice, balance, and mutual benefit embedded in Islamic commercial law. Employing a qualitative normative–conceptual research design, the study adopts the analytical perspectives of fiqh al-muʿāmalāt and Islamic economics. The object of the research is credit-based Islamic sales practices, analyzed through primary data derived from documented transaction practices and contracts, as well as secondary data sourced from classical and contemporary fiqh literature, Sharīʿah fatwas, and Islamic economic scholarship. The findings reveal that credit mechanisms have become the prevailing transactional model, influencing contractual relations, risk allocation, and pricing structures. This dominance tends to generate structural imbalances, particularly through disproportionate risk transfer and rigid obligations imposed on buyers, which may undermine the substantive realization of transactional justice. The study further demonstrates that excessive reliance on credit-oriented models risks marginalizing risk-sharing principles and diluting the moral objectives of Islamic economics. Normatively, the findings suggest that credit mechanisms should function as conditional instruments rather than default transactional frameworks. Practically, the study underscores the need for justice-oriented contractual designs, stronger regulatory oversight, and the promotion of alternative Sharīʿah-compliant models that better align with the objectives of Islamic economics.

Abstract

Hadis-hadis tentang kepemimpinan perempuan, khususnya yang berbunyi "lan yufliḥa qawmun wallau amrahum imra'ah" (tidak akan beruntung suatu kaum yang menyerahkan urusannya kepada perempuan), telah menjadi sumber debat hukum dan sosial yang panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas dan konteks historis hadis tersebut dengan menerapkan metodologi kritik matan (isi) hadis secara kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dan analisis teks kritis. Data primer bersumber dari kitab-kitab hadis induk, seperti Shahih al-Bukhari, serta komentar ulama klasik dan modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari segi sanad, hadis ini termasuk kategori sahih. Namun, analisis kritik matan kontemporer yang mempertimbangkan aspek historis, sosiologis, dan maqāṣid al-sharīʿah mengungkap bahwa hadis ini memiliki karakteristik khabar al-wāḥid (laporan tunggal) yang bersifat partikular (juz'i), bukan universal (kulli). Konteks spesifiknya adalah komentar Nabi Muhammad SAW. terhadap kisah kerajaan Persia kuno yang diperintah oleh seorang perempuan. Dengan demikian, kesimpulan penelitian adalah bahwa hadis ini tidak dapat digeneralisasi sebagai larangan mutlak kepemimpinan perempuan dalam semua bidang dan zaman. Larangan bersifat kondisional, sangat terkait dengan konteks masyarakat yang patriarkal dan tidak siap, bukan sebuah ketetapan esensial tentang ketidakmampuan perempuan. Artikel ini merekomendasikan perlunya pendekatan yang holistik dan kontekstual dalam memahami hadis-hadis ahkam, dengan mempertimbangkan semangat maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, yaitu keadilan dan kemaslahatan umat.
