Abstract

Making a party fashion design takes pouring creative ideas to create a fashion design. The source of the idea is an idea that comes out to create an innovative creation one of which can be taken from the renaissance. Smock is a technique of making wrinkles on the fabric symmetrically or asymmetrically. Smock used in this study is a wave smock. In making this final project the author raised the issue of how the application of the Italian renaissance ideas in the manufacture of fashion evening party, where women at this time wear clothes that have characteristics that show luxury, glamor, feminine, shiny, tight (press body), rigid and made fall. This writing aims to determine the process of making party dress with renaissance ideas source using the application of smock on corset and sequin decoration. The method of data collection used in this paper is the method of observation, documentation and lite The process of making clothes in this study starts from determining the design of clothing, sizing, making basic patterns to break patterns, making smock, laying patterns, cutting materials, and pattern marks. The initial stage in the process is sewing a translucent top, tanktop, corset and circle skirt. The conclusion of the process of making this dress is that the manufacture of smock is carried out with accuracy.Installation of the smock on the corset must also be done with the appropriate technique, so that the results look right. The suggestion in this report is that the smock making process must pay attention to the needs of the fabric, so that during the smock making process there is no shortage of materials. The process of installing the smock must be considered, because in this installation technique it determines the accuracy of the results attached to the corset.rature. The analysis used in this study is qualitative analysis.

Abstract

The implementation of the concept of sustainable fashion is an effort carried out by fashion players to create sustainable fashion products so as to reduce the impact of fast fashion. Forms of implementing the concept of sustainable fashion include the zero waste puttern cutting technique and the use of natural dyes. Cutting techniques without leaving scraps and liquid waste produced from the textile production process. The purpose of the study was to determine the process of implementing zero waste in ready to wear with ecoprint natural dye textiles. The data collection methods used are observation, documentation and literature methods. The analysis used in this study is qualitative data analysis. The process begins with creating ecoprint motifs using steam techniques and adding cibori motifs, the process of creating designs and planning the layout of the pattern components, and planning the layout of patterns on ecoprint materials, the cutting process, installing tricot, followed by the sewing process to unite the pattern components. The initial stage in this process is sewing the top. Conclusion of the process of applying the zero waste puttern cutting technique with ecoprin natural dye textiles is one of the visionary concepts where creating clothes starts from making motifs. with ecoprin natural dye textile is one of the visionary concepts where creating clothes starts from making motifs with natural dyes and continues with efforts to minimize fabric waste by applying the zero waste concept to the cutting pattern process and continues with the sewing process until completion, so that it can be used as a solution and reference in the fashion field for making clothes sustainably. Suggestions for applying the zero waste concept to be more optimal, the design of motif designs and pattern designs should always go hand in hand so that all motifs can be used and in accordance with the design to minimize fabric waste and dye waste.

Abstract

The fashion industry produces large amounts of textile waste, necessitating sustainable design solutions such as zero-waste fashion design. This study examines the application of zero-waste fashion using the fabric manipulation tucking technique to ready-to-wear clothing. The objective of this study is to determine how the tucking technique can be applied to zero-waste pattern design to produce efficient and aesthetically pleasing clothing. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The research results include five stages: In the analysis stage, the author examines the concepts of zero waste, the tucking technique, and ready-to-wear clothing. In the design phase, two zero-waste pattern concepts with variations of tucking were created as trials. Development was carried out through design validation and revisions based on expert input. Implementation was carried out with product production based on the refined final design. Finally, evaluation was carried out through product validation and final revisions until the product was finished. The results show that zero-waste design using the tucking technique can be implemented systematically, reducing waste and enhancing product uniqueness.Recommendations in this study highlight the importance of tucking stitch direction, accurate placement of zero-waste patterns, and the use of excess fabric as an additional tucking accent to reduce looseness and optimize fabric usage. Selection of appropriate fabrics to support the aesthetic results and effectiveness of the Tucking technique in ready-to-wear fashion products.

Abstract

This community service initiative aims to empower the local community—specifically housewives and youth group members—by providing training in hair accessory production as a form of home-based creative economy enterprise. The initiative addresses issues such as a lack of marketable skills, limited formal employment opportunities, and the underutilization of leisure time among the working-age population in the target area. The implementation process comprised several stages: preparation and outreach; technical training on crafting hair accessories (clips, headbands, and hair ties) using fabric scraps, ribbons, and beads; production mentoring; digital marketing training; and an evaluation of outcomes. Results indicate a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and skills, the emergence of entrepreneurial interest, the formation of a joint business group, and the initiation of external marketing partnerships. This initiative is expected to serve as a sustainable model for community empowerment based on local potential, capable of being replicated in other regions with similar socio-economic characteristics.
