Abstract

At SMA Negeri 3 Pasuruan, Economics is an elective subject for pupils in Grade XI. The students consciously choose economics as one of the subjects that they want to study in more depth. Nevertheless, the enthusiasm of pupils to participate in economic learning, particularly in abstract learning subjects, is relatively small. One of the causes of pupils' low interest in learning is due to the lack of interesting and inappropriate learning media with pupils' needs in learning economics. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how the use of electronic comics affects the interest of Grade XI pupils in learning the topic of wage system material in economics subjects at SMAN 3 Pasuruan. A mixed method approach that combines a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental model through data collection instruments in the form of surveys, pre-tests, post-tests in control and experimental classes. In addition, this study used a qualitative approach through observation and interview instruments. The results of the research show that electronic comic books can increase students' understanding of and interest in economic subjects, especially on the topic of the wage system material. The effectiveness of electronic comic learning media significantly contributes to the learning of abstract material through appropriate and interesting visualization

Abstract

The problem that occurs in Tembokrejo Village is the lack of public awareness in disposing of waste which is still done carelessly. Anticipation verbally for the PkM (Community Service) team to increase public awareness about waste disposal, especially through a program to install signs prohibiting littering. The initial step is to survey the location of the sign installation. Then, sanding and painting are carried out as well as renewal of signs from the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (DPUPR) of Pasuruan City and the Water Resources and Drainage Agency (SDAD). Then, the process of installing signs by the PkM team was assisted by the SDAD Agency and DPUPR of Pasuruan City and produced 4 signs. The PkM team used interviews as an evaluation of the effectiveness of signs for public awareness of cleanliness. KKN students hope that the presence of these signs can attract the attention of the surrounding community to comply with these regulations so that a clean and healthy environment is created. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh micro teaching dan minat menjadi guru terhadap kesiapan mengajar mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Wiranegara dalam menghadapi Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP). Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih ditemukannya mahasiswa yang kurang siap dalam praktik mengajar di SMAN 3 Pasuruan, baik dari segi keterampilan mengajar maupun motivasi untuk menekuni profesi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kausalitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 187 mahasiswa Fakultas Pedagogi dan Psikologi angkatan 2021, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel proportional random sampling sehingga diperoleh 65 responden. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dan analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa micro teaching berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan mengajar PLP dengan nilai t-hitung 5,674 dan Sig. 0,000, begitu juga dengan minat menjadi guru dengan nilai t-hitung 3,552 dan Sig. 0,001. Uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa keduanya secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan mengajar PLP dengan nilai F-hitung 49,306 dan Sig. 0,000. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,602 yang berarti micro teaching dan minat menjadi guru secara simultan berkontribusi sebesar 60,2% terhadap kesiapan mengajar PLP, sedangkan 39,8% sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar penelitian. Di antara kedua variabel, micro teaching memberikan pengaruh lebih dominan dibandingkan minat menjadi guru. Kesimpulannya, kesiapan mengajar mahasiswa PLP akan lebih optimal apabila didukung oleh pengalaman praktik melalui micro teaching serta minat yang kuat untuk menjadi guru profesional.
