Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) mahasiswa di Desa Galang Suka bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan Tanaman Obat Keluarga (Toga) guna memperbaiki kualitas kesehatan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah Asset Based Community Driven Development (ABCD), yang berfokus pada kekuatan dan potensi masyarakat lokal. Melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan, mahasiswa memberikan edukasi mengenai jenis-jenis Toga, manfaatnya, dan cara pengolahannya menjadi produk kesehatan, seperti jamu instan dan puding. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan masyarakat tentang Toga serta kemampuannya dalam memanfaatkan tanaman tersebut. Masyarakat mulai menyadari manfaat kesehatan dari tanaman seperti jahe merah dan kelor, yang berpotensi untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada obat kimia. Selain aspek kesehatan, kegiatan ini juga membuka peluang ekonomi baru melalui pengembangan produk berbasis Toga, meningkatkan kemandirian masyarakat. Dengan menerapkan metode ABCD, kegiatan KKN ini tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan, tetapi juga memberdayakan masyarakat untuk mengelola sumber daya alam mereka. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran mahasiswa dalam menjembatani pengetahuan ilmiah dengan praktik sehari-hari, serta mendorong pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam pemanfaatan tanaman obat untuk kesehatan dan ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

Students' self-concept is very important because it can influence learning motivation, engagement, and academic achievement. Meanwhile, academic procrastination is the behavior of postponing academic tasks or obligations that should be completed. The aim of this research is to determine the extent of self-concept and academic procrastination in students and to find out whether there is a relationship between self-concept and academic procrastination at SMA Al-Washliyah 3 Medan. The population of this study was SMA Al-Washliyah 3 Medan and the research sample was all 24 students in class X-C. The data collection method used is the self-concept scale and academic procrastination. This research uses a quantitative approach with correlational methods. Based on the results of data analysis regarding the relationship between self-concept and academic procrastination in students which was carried out using a correlation test in this study, the correlation coefficient value was (r) 0.519 and the significant value (p) was 0.009 (p<0.05). The results of this research state that there is a relationship between self-concept and academic procrastination in students at SMA Al-Washliyah 3 Medan. The correlation coefficient value also explains that the better a student's self-concept, the less academic procrastination behavior they carry out.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and academic burnout in class XI students of MAN 2 Deli Serdang in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population in this study amounted to 430 students and the sampling technique used a simple random sampling technique of 10% of the population, namely 43 students. The data collection instrument was in the form of a self-control and academic burnout questionnaire which was compiled based on theoretical indicators and tested for validity and reliability. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out using the product moment correlation test calculation, the results of the study were obtained, namely the correlation coefficient (r) of -0.544 and significance (p) of = 0.000 (p 0.05). The results of the study state that there is a relationship between self-control and academic burnout in class XI students of MAN 2 Deli Serdang in the 2024/2025 academic year. The results of the study indicate a significant negative relationship between self-control and academic burnout in students, which means that the higher the level of student self-control, the lower the level of academic burnout they experience. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination obtained was 27.8%, which means that the influence of self-control on academic burnout was 27.8%, while family was 72.2% influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
