Abstract

This article aims to investigate the implications of disciplinary punishment against students from the point of view of legal sociology. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive analysis by utilizing in-depth interviews with students, legal practitioners, and educators (teachers), then document analysis is carried out as a data collection technique. The results of the analysis show that disciplinary punishment against students has a complex impact in shaping student identity and behavior in the educational environment, thus requiring appropriate handling in terms of providing disciplinary punishment for students, for this article it is possible to find out the right solution in terms of handling disciplinary punishment for students. From the point of view of legal sociology, disciplinary punishment not only functions as a means of social control, but also as a means of reproduction of power and norms that apply in society. Disciplinary punishment can affect the relationship between students and teachers and its impact on the learning process and the psychological well-being of students. Disciplinary punishment against students is an integral part of the education system which has complex implications in shaping student behavior and identity

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and responsibility of the mass media in considering aspects of justice and social system theory. This study adopts a qualitative approach using literature analysis and case study methods to explore how the principle of justice and social system theory affect journalistic responsibility in media reporting. The results of the article show that the mass media has an important role in ensuring justice in presenting information to the public. The responsibility of the press from a justice perspective involves presenting accurate, balanced, and non-discriminatory information. Meanwhile, social system theory views the media as an integral part of society that must be responsible for shaping public opinion and fighting for social justice. The conclusion of this study is that the responsibility of the press from a justice perspective and social system theory cannot be separated. The mass media has a great influence in shaping the attitudes and values ​​of society, so it is important for them to consider aspects of justice and social systems in their reporting. The implications of this study can provide guidance for more responsible journalistic practices that support social justice.

Abstract

Kehadiran pelajar nakal di lingkungan sekolah telah menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan, termasuk mengancam perlindungan hukum bagi para guru. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perlindungan hukum bagi guru akibat kenakalan pelajar dalam perspektif teori anomie. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap guru-guru yang pernah mengalami kenakalan pelajar. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa ketidakpastian hukum, lemahnya dukungan institusi, dan minimnya sanksi bagi pelajar nakal menjadi faktor utama yang menghambat perlindungan hukum bagi guru. Melalui analisis berdasarkan teori anomie, penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang konflik norma sosial dan kebutuhan individu yang mendasari kenakalan pelajar. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya peningkatan kerjasama antara sekolah, keluarga, dan lembaga hukum untuk meningkatkan perlindungan hukum bagi guru. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam menjaga lingkungan belajar yang aman dan kondusif bagi semua pihak yang terlibat.
