Abstract

This study explores the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in shaping the moral and ethical character of students at SMK Jamiah Al-Aziziyah from a sociological perspective. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews with PAI teachers and students, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that PAI significantly contributes to character formation by fostering values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and politeness. These values are instilled through formal lessons and internalized through social interactions at school, including peer communication, collaboration in religious activities, and role modeling by teachers. Despite these positive outcomes, challenges such as negative social media influences and limited parental engagement persist. The study highlights the need for a collaborative framework involving schools, families, and communities to address external challenges and sustain moral development. It also calls for future research to integrate family and community roles more effectively into character education initiatives

Abstract

This paper aims to examine government policies related to marriage guidance in order to establish family resilience with an Islamic legal philosophy approach. This study used a philosophical approach to Islamic law. The data were collected through literature studies and in-depth interviews. The results of the study indicate that government policy has created a marriage guidance program to increase family resilience. The implementation of marriage guidance in Aceh still faces obstacles from the formulation of the implementation model, the preparation of operational standards, methods, techniques, materials, and time allocation, as well as synergies with other related agencies. Marriage guidance is not an absolute requirement for marriage. Both the provincial Ministry of Religion and the City Regency Ministry of Religion do not periodically evaluate the marriage guidance program. The budget from the government is still minimal, and the need for cooperation between institutions causes the implementation of marriage guidance not to run optimally. However, marriage guidance from the perspective of Islamic legal philosophy aims for the benefit of prospective husband and wife, their families and communities, and even the state, therefore, this program is quite essential. Moreover, it is associated with family resilience, meaning that marriage guidance will strongly influence family resilience.

Abstract

This research was conducted to discuss cooperative and collaborative learning from the perspective of Islamic education. This is a qualitative study with data collection techniques through literature review. The results show that cooperative and collaborative learning are teaching methods that place students in groups to achieve predetermined learning goals. In cooperative learning, students work in specific groups to achieve these goals. In collaborative learning, students also work in groups but with discussions, sharing, debates with conducive opinions that enrich insights, and mutual help to solve complex problems. To implement effective cooperative and collaborative learning, it is necessary to create a classroom environment with a constructivist perspective. This means that students are not seen passively, but actively involved in learning, and they bring their concepts into learning situations. Learning prioritizes the active process of students constructing meaning, often through interpersonal negotiation. Knowledge is not "out there", but is constructed personally and socially. In addition, teachers bring their concepts into learning situations, not only in terms of their knowledge but also their views on learning and teaching, which can affect their interactions with students in the classroom.

Abstract

Sebuah perpustakaan sekolah, siswa merupakan sumber daya yang penting karena mereka adalah penggerak utama aktivitas perpustakaan. Namun melihat fenomena di SMP Harapan Ummat Arongan, pada waktu istirahat yang relative singkat, mereka lebih banyak habiskan waktu bermain dari pada ke Perpustakaan. Perpustakaan yang ada belum dimanfaatkan oleh siswa sebagai mana semestinya. Berpijak karena itulah peneliti melakukan penelitian di SMP Swasta Harapan Ummat Arongan dengan judul strategi guru PAI dalam memanfaatkan sumber pembelajaran di perpustakaan SMP Swasta Harapan Ummat Arongan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru PAI dalam memanfaatkan sumber pembelajaran di perpustakaan dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dalam memanfaatkan sumber pembelajaran di perpustakaan SMP Harapan Ummat Arongan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Dalam penelitian kualitatif data yang dikumpulkan bukan angka-angka, akan tetapi berupa kata-kata atau gambaran. Data yang dimaksud berasal dari wawancara, catatan lapangan, foto, dokumen pribadi dan lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam pemanfaatan perpustakaan sebagai sumber belajar siswa SMP Swasta Harapan Ummat Arongan, yaitu memberikan tugas meringkas kepada siswa dan diarahkan ke perpustakaan untuk memilih salah satu buku yang akan digunakan dalam mengerjakan tugas tersebut, siswa diharuskan membaca 15 menit sebelum memulai pelajaran, mengarahkan siswa keperpustakaan. Faktor pendukug: adanya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai yaitu koleksi bahan pustaka yang memadai di perpustakaan SMP Swasta Harapan Ummat Arongan.
