Abstract

This article discusses the design and simulation of an Arduino Uno microcontroller-based parking sensor system that uses HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors to detect the distance of objects in the parking area. The project is implemented and tested through the Wokwi online simulation platform. This approach aims to provide an effective solution in prototyping parking sensor systems that is cost-effective and easily accessible. Simulation using Wokwi allows the development and testing of code and electronic circuits without physical hardware, making it easier to test the functionality of sensors and microcontrollers. Simulation results show that the HC-SR04 sensor can detect distance with sufficient accuracy and activate notifications based on a certain distance, which is relevant in the application of automated parking systems.

Abstract

This study examines the intense competition in the contemporary franchise beverage industry in Gorontalo City, where consumers have many choices that affect loyalty to certain brands. This study aims to analyze the effect of brand equity and marketing mix on customer loyalty. This descriptive quantitative research uses accidental sampling with 100 samples. Data analysis includes statistical tests as well as Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) models. This study shows that brand equity and marketing mix have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously, with the t-count and f-count values exceeding the table limit at the 95% confidence level. SEM-PLS analysis confirmed the significant relationship with p-values of 0.05 and t-statistics of 1.96, supporting the tested model. The research conclusion shows that brand equity and marketing mix have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. As advice, business owners of contemporary beverage franchises in Gorontalo City are advised to strengthen brand equity, as well as optimize creative and effective marketing strategies to increase competitiveness.

Abstract

Indonesia has abundant renewable energy potential, but its utilization still faces various technical, economic, social, and policy barriers. This article examines renewable energy integration strategies through a smart grid approach as a systemic solution to build a reliable, efficient and sustainable electricity system. Using a literature review method, it highlights key challenges such as intermittency of energy sources, limited storage infrastructure, high initial investment costs, and regulatory and social resistance. The integration strategies discussed include the development of energy storage technologies, increased flexibility of the electricity system, optimization of plant planning and operations, energy policy reform, and investment in infrastructure and digitalization. The vital role of smart grids is made clear through case studies of implementations in remote areas that have successfully improved distribution efficiency and community participation. The results confirm that successful integration of renewable energy requires synergy between technology, policy, and active community involvement. In conclusion, smart grid is not just a technological infrastructure, but the foundation of transformation towards a national energy system that is low-emission, inclusive, and long-term resilient.
