Abstract

Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a form of private network through a public network by focusing on the security of the encrypted data in it. This research uses Cisco Packet Tracere software as a computer network technology simulation tool. Cisco Packet Tracker is a device in network technology simulation that functions for creation and development in networks. The purpose of this research is to create a VPN simulation using a star topology with Cisco Packet Tracer software. Star topology is a star-shaped topology, where each node is to the centre. The method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques or Literature Study, namely looking for references from the internet in the form of journals. In creating a VPN simulation using Cisco Packet Tracer requires hardware in the form of a server, router, switch, and PC or computer.

Abstract

The railway doorstop system functions to increase the safety of road users and avoid accidents at crossings. This journal discusses the design and implementation of a train doorstop system using Arduino Uno with supporting components such as servo motors, LED lights, resistors and the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. The simulation aims to automate the process of closing and opening gate latches based on the presence of trains, with results demonstrating the effectiveness of the system in improving safety at crossings.

Abstract

This study examines the intense competition in the contemporary franchise beverage industry in Gorontalo City, where consumers have many choices that affect loyalty to certain brands. This study aims to analyze the effect of brand equity and marketing mix on customer loyalty. This descriptive quantitative research uses accidental sampling with 100 samples. Data analysis includes statistical tests as well as Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) models. This study shows that brand equity and marketing mix have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously, with the t-count and f-count values exceeding the table limit at the 95% confidence level. SEM-PLS analysis confirmed the significant relationship with p-values of 0.05 and t-statistics of 1.96, supporting the tested model. The research conclusion shows that brand equity and marketing mix have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. As advice, business owners of contemporary beverage franchises in Gorontalo City are advised to strengthen brand equity, as well as optimize creative and effective marketing strategies to increase competitiveness.

Abstract

Global Sharia-based trade is growing in response to the need for a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable economic system. This article analyzes multilateral institutions that promote global Sharia trade, focusing on strategies, effectiveness, and policy impacts on country development. The research was conducted through a systematic literature review approach and a current case study analysis, integrating three main theories: World Systems (Wallerstein), Institutionalism (North), and Global Governance. The results show that institutions such as the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) play an important role in harmonizing halal standards, facilitating sharia financing, and developing adaptive trade regulations. The results show that these institutions' interventions have increased halal product exports by up to 30%, expanded access to sharia microfinance, and created thousands of jobs in developing countries. However, differences in standards, limited local capacity, and inequality in access to technology remain significant challenges. Therefore, cross-country collaboration and strengthening national institutions are needed to create a cohesive and competitive global Sharia trading ecosystem. This study provides strategic recommendations to strengthen synergy between institutions and support the sustainability of sharia trading in a dynamic global economic landscape.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jarak tanam dan dosis pupuk nitrogen terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung (*Zea mays* L.) di lahan kering. Jagung merupakan salah satu komoditas pangan utama di Indonesia yang memiliki prospek tinggi untuk dikembangkan, terutama di lahan kering. Namun, produktivitas jagung di lahan kering seringkali rendah akibat keterbatasan air dan kesuburan tanah yang rendah. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan rancangan petak terpisah (split plot) dengan dua faktor, yaitu jarak tanam (70×20 cm, 70×30 cm, dan 70×40 cm) sebagai petak utama dan dosis pupuk nitrogen (0 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha, 200 kg/ha, dan 300 kg/ha) sebagai anak petak. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, jumlah tongkol per tanaman, panjang tongkol, berat biji per tongkol, dan hasil panen per hektar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara jarak tanam dan dosis pupuk nitrogen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sebagian besar parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil. Jarak tanam 70×30 cm dengan dosis pupuk nitrogen 200 kg/ha memberikan hasil terbaik, ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan tinggi tanaman, jumlah tongkol, dan hasil biji per hektar secara signifikan dibandingkan perlakuan lain. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengaturan jarak tanam yang optimal dan pemberian dosis pupuk nitrogen yang tepat dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan lahan dan produktivitas jagung di lahan kering.
