Abstract

Abstract: Anemia is a condition when the number of red blood cells is lower than the normal number. Every day 830 mothers worldwide (38 women in Indonesia, based on AKI 305) die from diseases related to pregnancy and childbirth. The incidence of anemia in pregnant women in Riau Province increased in 2022 (35%), 2021 (15%), 2020 (45%), 2019 (39%).The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the knowledge of pregnant women and the incidence of anemia at the Payung Sekaki Health Center in Pekanbaru. This study is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The research was carried out at the Payung Sekaki Health Center in Pekanbaru, conducted in March-August 2024 with a sample of 68 respondents. The results showed that 5 people (7.4%) had good knowledge, 13 people (19.1%) had sufficient knowledge and 50 people (73.5%) had poor knowledge. Respondents who experienced anemia amounted to 43 people (63.2%) and did not experience anemia amounted to 25 people (36.8%). The results of the Chi-Square Test obtained P value = 0.000 < 0.05 indicating a relationship between the knowledge of pregnant women and the incidence of anemia. It is recommended that pregnant women be more active in exploring information about the incidence of anemia in pregnancy and also know how to prevent it so that pregnant women stay healthy and avoid anemia. Health workers should be more active in providing health education to the public about mothers, especially about anemia in pregnancy. Keywords: Knowledge of pregnant women, Incidence of anemia

Abstract

Abstract: Nutrition is a process of using food that is consumed normally through the processes of digestion, absorption, transportation, storage, metabolism and excretion of unused substances to maintain life, growth and normal function of organs and produce energy.  Improper feeding will disrupt the nutritional status and health of the baby. At the age of 0-6 months, babies should only be given exclusive breast milk (ASI). However, starting from the age of 6-12 months, babies no longer get sufficient nutritional intake from breast milk alone, so they must be given complementary foods (MPASI) gradually from liquid food to solid food. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of stunting prevention classes on mothers' knowledge regarding nutritional needs for babies aged 6-12 months in the Sidomulyo Community Health Center working area. This research uses a quantitative approach, the method used in this research is quasi experiment. The sample in this study was 89 respondents. The method for determining the sample is cluster sampling. The data collection tool is a questionnaire and data analysis uses Chi-Square with ???? = 0.05. The results of this study show that there is an influence of stunting prevention classes on mothers' knowledge about fulfilling nutritional requirements for babies aged 6-12 months (Pvalue 0.000). stunting incidence rate. Keywords: Class, Stunting, Knowledge, Nutrition

The type of research used is experimental, namely pre-experimental with a one group pre-post test design. The sample in this study were 18 students who experienced dysmenorrhea. Measurement of anxiety using the STAI questionnaire (Y). The results showed that the average level of anxiety before being given acupressure was 2.28, then given acupressure, it showed that there was a change in the average level of anxiety, which was 1.28. From the results of statistical tests with the Wilcoxon test, the p value value is 0.000. It can be said that the administration of acupressure is effective or has a good influence on reducing anxiety in dysmenorrheal adolescents. Giving acupressure during dysmenorrhea is very useful in overcoming anxiety problems in adolescents.
