Abstract

Stroke is the leading cause of disability and death in Indonesia, with an increasing prevalence. The impact of stroke not only affects individuals, but also families and communities. In the working area of the Antara Health Center there is an increase in cases every year. This study aims to develop a model of community-based stroke rehabilitation services at the Antara Health Center in Makassar City. Qualitative research methods were used to explore important components in the development of the model and factors that improve service accessibility. The results showed that the development of the model involved the formation of a multidisciplinary team, the application of a holistic approach, the active involvement of families and communities, and the utilization of local resources. Factors that improve accessibility include proximity to services, affordable costs, community involvement, education, and government policy support. Recommendations include developing training programs, recruiting rehabilitation health workers, improving integration and communication between health facilities, developing monitoring systems, utilizing digital technology, and strengthening related policies. The implementation of this model is expected to improve the accessibility and quality of community-based stroke rehabilitation services, as well as support the recovery of patients in their own environment.

Abstract

Several studies in the private sector have shown that social nudge has proven successful in changing behavior in various settings. For instance, social nudge is effective in involving more people in energy conservation and plastic waste recycling behavior. Social nudge has shown great promise as behavior change intervention in both the public and private sectors worldwide because they produce highly effective results at low cost while enabling the target group whose behavior is expected to change to maintain their autonomy. This study aims to examine whether social nudges can successfully overcome civil servant disciplinary problems in Indonesia, especially issues related to the tardiness behavior of civil servants. The study employed an experiment method with the one-group pre-post-test design and the two-step intervention, which was applied to 15 participants who were civil servants at Rumah Sakit Khusus Daerah Dadi (A Regional Specialty Hospital of South Sulawesi, Indonesia). The results showed that the average number of respondents' tardiness time before the intervention (pretest) is higher than the results of the first intervention (t = 3.367, p < 0.05) and the second intervention (t = 11.003, p < 0.05). These findings indicate that social nudge is proven effective in reducing tardiness and complements the predetermined strategies to overcome the problem of tardiness in civil servants. This study is potentially the first to examine social nudges' effectiveness in government settings. The study was conducted in three weeks between 21 September 2020 and 9 October 2020.

Abstract

The restructuring of job nomenclature for operational positions within government bureaucracy institutions requires each agency to revised their job analysis and workload documents accordingly. Previously, operational job guidelines were based on the Regulation of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Number 41 of 2018. However, this has now been replaced by Ministerial Decree Number 11 of 2024. Despite this change, the Department of Livestock and Animal Health of Takalar Regency continues to utilize job and workload analysis documents that refer to the outdated nomenclature. This study aims to update these document in alignment with the most recent regulatory standards for operational job titles. The revision particularly focuses on positions under the Division of Animal Health and Veterinary Public Health, as well as the Division of Extension and Business Development. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, incorporating techniques such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The outcomes of this research include updated job and workload analysis documents containing 17 key job information components, in accordance with the Ministerial Regulation Number 1 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Job Analysis and Workload  Analysis.
