Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil wawancara langsung dengan guru mata pembelajaran biologi di SMAN 1 Kuta Blang, masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi plantae sehingga mengakibatkan hasil belajar yang menurun. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan sebuah penelitian dengan judul “Penerapan model pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning melalui pendekatan outdor learning terhadap kemampuan hasil belajar kognitif siswa SMAN 1 Kuta Blang Pada materi plantae”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning terhadap kemampuan hasil belajar kognitif siswa lebih baik dibandingkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional di SMAN 1 Kuta Blang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest posttes control group design. Adapun yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPAS SMAN 1 Kuta Blang. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian dari kelas X 1 IPAS sebagai kelas eksperimen yang jumlah siswa 17 orang dan kelas X 2 IPAS sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 15 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yang berupa tes dengan bentuk soal pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest). Berdasarkan analisis data yangtelah dilakukan, pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning melalui pendekatan outdor learning terhadap kemampuan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi plantae lebih baik dari kemampuan hasil belajar kognitif siswa melalui pembelajaran konvensional di SMAN 1 Kuta Blang. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching And Learning, Outdor Learning, Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa, Materi Plantae.

Abstract

Community service activities (CSA) are activities that aim to help certain communities in several activities that are useful for increasing community knowledge, insight, and skills in a matter or field. PkM is one part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, an educational activity in the community in the form of non-formal education for people involved in the world of education and the general public. The PkM implemented by this team is a forum for activities for teachers and prospective Early Childhood Education teachers to increase and expand their knowledge about child nutrition because child nutrition is an important factor in supporting optimal early childhood development. Because nutrition and early childhood education are closely related, a childhood teacher must know this knowledge not only about children's health but also in line with the integration of the national PAUD program, namely integrative holistic PAUD. The integration of PAUD knowledge with health and nutrition will provide new knowledge for PAUD teachers to find out more about the influence of children's learning development on whether children's health and nutrition are good or not when displaying the nutrition menu. Childhood teachers are asked to follow cooking instructions by preparing tools and ingredients in a healthy nutrition and toddler menu book. Six cooking groups are participating and each group consists of four PAUD teachers and childhood department students, who will then cook food with a nutritional menu and present it. nutritional menu contained in the composition of cooked food. This performance was held at Almuslim University (Umuslim) Bireuen, inviting twelve PAUD teachers from six PAUD schools in Bireuen Regency. Keywords:   Early Childhood, Exhibition, Healthy, Nutrition

Abstract

The lack of entrepreneurial character in the community of Seuneubok Village, Aceh, is a problem and challenge for the team implementing community service activities, thus it considered necessary to empower PKK members consisting of housewives through providing counseling and training in making woven pandan mats and involving the community of Seuneubok Village, Aceh. The craft of woven pandan mats is the business of PKK women in Seuneubok Village, Aceh, which is a traditional commercial product that needs marketing strategies improvement to increase its high economic value. This activity aimed to improve entrepreneurial skills and improve the family economy. This activity was carried out by PKK members through the PKM program which was held on April 20 to May 28, 2024. Methods for implementing activities included friendly meetings, raw material surveys, visits and interviews, providing innovative input, and training in making woven pandan mats. This activity is expected to make a positive contribution to the welfare of families in Seuneubok Village, Aceh. The evaluation was carried out to measure the increase in participants' knowledge and skills, as well as the impact on the family economy. It is hoped that the results of this service can be an inspiring example for developing creative economic potential in other rural areas.

Abstract

To date, no scientific studies have been conducted to determine tree species richness and carbon content in the Pasir Nunang Village Forest, Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. This study aims to determine the tree species diversity index and carbon content in the Pasir Nunang Village Forest, Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. Quantitative research then research a purposive sampling method was employed, taking into account variations in topography and slope. Research data sample at the research locations in the north and south were made into plots measuring 40 m x 40 m on the right and left of the transect in a zigzag manner without any intervals of 10 plots, resulting in a total of 20 plots at the research location. Field data collection was conducted from June 22 to July 10, 2024, within the forest area of Pasir Nunang Village, Southeast Aceh Regency. Data collection through observations was conducted on tree stands with a diameter of >20 cm, measuring the tree trunk diameter at chest height of an adult. Data analysis included the calculation of vegetation species diversity index (Shannon–Wiener, H’) and carbon storage was analyzed using allometric equations. The results identified a total of 28 tree species belonging to 16 families, comprising 162 individual trees.The Shannon–Wiener diversity index (H’) reached a maximum value of 3.12. The estimated total aboveground carbon stock in the Pasir Nunang Village Forest was 354.23 tons ha⁻¹.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the utilization of sugar palm (Arecaceae) plants in the Acehnese community in Gandapura District, Bireuen Regency. In collecting data, this study distributed questionnaires, semi-structured and open-ended free interviews to various age groups with a total of 11 questions. The research sample in this study amounted to 153 people. The sampling method was carried out using the purposeful sampling method; namely, the population has homogeneous and stratified elements/members. Samples were taken based on age groups, namely young adults (aged 20-35) who are actively working to earn a living; middle adults (aged 36-50) who are generally married and have a permanent residence; and older people (> 50 years) who are considered village leaders/elders and have influence in the village. The results showed that 13 types of sugar palm plants were utilized. The utilization of 13 types of plants consists of 7 types as food ingredients, 7 types as craft materials, 5 types as building materials, 7 types for traditional medicine, 2 types for traditional ceremonies and 5 types of ornamental plants. To determine the utilization of plant species diversity, an analysis of the level of importance of a plant species for the community was carried out, namely by calculating the Cultural Significance Index (ICS). The highest ICS value was found in the Cocos nucifera plant, namely 293, followed by Areca nut (Areca catechu) and Areca nut (Arenga pinnata) with values of 113 and 111.
