Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas VI di MIN 6 Alor. Perhatian Orang Tua merupakan pendidikan awal yang diterima anak dalam lingkungan keluarga. Anak tumbuh dan berkembang dalam asuhan orang tuanya. Membentuk kepribadian adalah sebuah penanaman modal manusia untuk masa depan, membekali generasi mudah dengan budi pekerti yang luhur dan kepribadian yang baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskripsif kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa dengan adanya Perhatian orang tua akan mendorong anak agar mandiri seperti: 1) memberikan keterampilan dalam mengurus diri sendiri. 2) membiarkan anak untuk mengerjakan tugas sendiri tanpa bantuan orang tua. 3) membuat pembiasaan yang positif. 4) bertanggung jawab atas pilihannya sendiri. 5) memberi kebebasan kepada anak memilih. Hal ini akan memberikan wawasan kepada anak agar selalu bersikap mandiri.

Abstract

This paper comprehensively examines the perception of the Alorese about their ancestral history, legends, and myths. It describes the Alorese people's minority status, traces their ancestral lineage, explains the interaction dynamics between coastal and inland residents, moreover unveils their intrinsic legends and myths. The primary data were from oral history interviews conducted among the Alor people in 2018, 2020, and 2022. Through qualitative descriptive methodology, the findings highlight the coexistence of the minority Muslim community with interior inhabitants despite occasional tensions, notably in the area of Pantar Barat. The paper offers a nuanced understanding of the Alorese people's journey, emphasizing their resilient cultural identity amidst broader societal norms. It examines influences shaping Alor society since ancient migrations to modern developments and scrutinizes social dynamics, shedding light on factors influencing social cohesion and cultural continuity. Emphasizing myths and legends as integral to the Alorese culture, the study underscores their role in shaping collective consciousness and identity. In conclusion, it emphasizes the resilience and cultural richness of the Alorese community, calling for further research to deepen understanding and appreciation of their unique heritage.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKomponen paling penting dalam keberlangsungan kegiatan pembelajaran adalah sebuah kurikulum. Kurikulum harus bersifat dinamis yang perlu disesuaikan dengan perkembangan paradigma pergeseran filsafat pendidikan, perubahan sosial, dan mengikuti perkembangan ilmu sains dan teknologi yang ada, serta harus disesuaikan dengan kondisi masyarakat di wilayah satuan pendidikan. Banyak guru, terutama di MIS Babul Jihad Moru, tidak mampu membuat bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal. Dalam rangka pengabdian masyarakat, workshop ini diadakan secara tatap muka selama satu hari, dengan metode ceramah, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi produk. Tujuan dari workshop ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun bahan ajar PPKn yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh enam guru kelas. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 88% peserta mampu mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dam materi ajar. Sebagai hasil dari workshop, setiap peserta berhasil membuat satu RPP dan bahan ajar yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta menganggap kegiatan sangat bermanfaat. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal perlu dilakukan untuk menyederhanakan muatan materi PPKn agar peserta didik mudah untuk memahaminya. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini benar-benar membantu meningkatkan kemampuan guru untuk menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era kekinian.Kata kunci: Kurikulum PPKn; Kearifan Lokal; Sekolah Dasar.  ABSTRACTThe most important component of sustainable learning activities is the curriculum. The curriculum must be dynamic, adapting to evolving paradigms, shifting educational philosophies, social change, and the latest developments in science and technology. The curriculum must also be tailored to the conditions of the community in the educational unit's area. Many teachers, particularly at MIS Babul Jihad Moru, have not yet been able to develop teaching materials based on local wisdom. As part of community service, a one-day face-to-face workshop was held, using lectures, hands-on practice, and product evaluation methods. This workshop aimed to improve teachers' abilities in developing local wisdom-based Civics Education (PPKn) teaching materials. Six classroom teachers participated in the workshop. Results showed that 88% of participants were able to integrate local wisdom into the teaching materials. The workshop resulted in each participant successfully developing lesson plans and teaching materials based on local wisdom. Interviews indicated that most participants found the workshop very beneficial. Research indicates that developing local wisdom-based teaching materials is necessary to simplify Civics Education (PPKn) material for easier student understanding. Therefore, this activity significantly improves teachers' abilities to face the challenges of education in today's era. Keywords: Citizenship Curriculum; Local Wisdom; Elementary School.

Abstract

Teachers' efforts in overcoming the use of regional languages ​​in the Indonesian Language subject for grade III at MIS Zadil Maad Aloindonu School. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts of teachers in overcoming the use of regional languages ​​in the Indonesian Language subject for grade III at MIS Zadil Maad Aloindonu. Teachers' efforts in overcoming the use of regional languages ​​in the Indonesian Language subject for grade III at MIS Zadil Maad Aloindonu and to find out what inhibiting factors the school faced in overcoming the use of regional languages ​​in grade III at MIS Zadil Maad Aloindonu. Using a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were the principal, Indonesian Language teachers and students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation with analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data display. The verbal rules made by the principal of MIS Zadil Maad Aloindonu reprimand students and teachers if they always use Indonesian at school or in learning, the principal also began to implement the use of Indonesian in the school environment, especially in learning and giving authority to each teacher and each homeroom teacher to make rules and punishments for students who use regional languages ​​too much at school or in learning ". The efforts of Indonesian language teachers are in the form of advising students, but the most prominent punishment is paying a fine because it can be seen from the fine that students feel they have lost money and try to use Indonesian. Inhibiting factors for the use of Indonesian in Indonesian language subjects. internal and external factors, where these internal factors come from within students that affect the intellectual capacity and interests and desires of the students themselves. While external factors are factors from the environment such as family and playmates.

Abstract

Abstract: Lutfia Tika Dewi Ahmad. "Teachers’ Efforts to Increase Students’ Reading Interest in Indonesian Language Learning for Grade III at UPTD SD Negeri Dulolong, Alor Barat Laut District, Alor Regency." This study aims (1) to investigate the efforts made by the classroom teacher to increase reading interest in Indonesian language learning for Grade III students at SD Negeri Dulolong, and (2) to identify the factors influencing students’ reading interest in the subject. This research employed a descriptive method with a field study design. The research questions were: (1) How does the classroom teacher enhance reading interest in Indonesian language learning for Grade III students at SD Negeri Dulolong? (2) What factors influence students’ reading interest in this learning context? The researcher acted as the key instrument, with data collected through triangulation techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects were the classroom teacher and Grade III students, with the study conducted over two months, from December 2024 to January 2025. Primary data were obtained directly from the teacher and students, while secondary data consisted of official documents, books, and reports. Using a qualitative approach, the study found that the teacher implemented various strategies to foster reading interest, such as creating an attractive reading corner in the classroom, fostering an enjoyable learning atmosphere, employing engaging media and teaching methods, and encouraging students to read before lessons. Parental involvement and the availability of relevant reading materials also played a supporting role. These efforts contributed to an increase in students’ reading interest, positively affecting their comprehension of Indonesian language materials. Factors influencing reading interest included internal factors—such as motivation (a strong desire to read for information, knowledge, or entertainment) and reading skills (the ability to understand and enjoy written texts)—and external factors, including the family environment (parental support in providing books, encouraging reading, and creating a supportive atmosphere) and the school environment (the teacher’s role in teaching reading skills and organizing engaging reading activities). However, certain conditions within these factors could also lead to a decline in students’ reading interest.
