Abstract

Penanaman budaya religius melalui shalat dhuha berjamaah di MI Al Islamiyah Karanganyar Paiton Probolinggo merupakan fenomena yang semakin krusial dalam konteks pendidikan karakter siswa. Aspek budaya religius ini penting untuk diperhatikan, mengingat tantangan yang dihadapi oleh generasi muda saat ini, termasuk pengaruh negatif dari lingkungan sekitar dan perkembangan teknologi yang dapat mengurangi nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana praktik shalat dhuha berjamaah dapat berkontribusi dalam pembentukan karakter siswa, serta menjawab pertanyaan mengenai sejauh mana kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan disiplin dan empati siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang menggabungkan metode observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Data dikumpulkan dari 100 siswa yang terlibat dalam shalat dhuha berjamaah, serta wawancara dengan guru dan orang tua siswa. Metode ini memungkinkan peneliti untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mendalam tentang dampak positif dari aktivitas religius terhadap karakter siswa, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan program ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 85% siswa melaporkan peningkatan disiplin dan empati setelah terlibat dalam shalat dhuha berjamaah. Rata-rata nilai karakter siswa meningkat dari 6,0 sebelum mengikuti shalat menjadi 8,5 setelahnya. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penanaman budaya religius melalui shalat dhuha berjamaah tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai rutinitas spiritual, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada perkembangan karakter positif siswa, meningkatkan kualitas hubungan sosial mereka, dan memperkuat ikatan antara siswa dan lingkungan sekitarnya. penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pengembangan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai religius. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar untuk mereformasi kurikulum pendidikan di madrasah, dengan memasukkan lebih banyak praktik religius dalam aktivitas sehari-hari siswa. Saran tindak lanjut dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya studi lebih lanjut mengenai praktik religius lainnya yang dapat memberikan dampak serupa, serta evaluasi berkelanjutan terhadap program shalat dhuha berjamaah untuk memastikan efektivitas dan keberlanjutannya dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Dengan demikian, diharapkan bahwa praktik ini dapat terus diperkuat dan diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan karakter di berbagai institusi pendidikan lainnya.

Abstract

Self-Directed Learning is an approach that emphasizes student independence in managing the learning process. However, the implementation of Self-Directed Learning faces challenges, especially for students who have limited time and energy to learn optimally. In coastal environments, many students are involved in helping their parents work as fishermen, which has an impact on their physical and mental condition during the learning process. This phenomenon causes some students to appear daydreaming in class, lose focus, and tend to be less active in participating in learning. This research aims to find out what form of strategy and implementation of Self-Directed Learning at MAN 1 Probolinggo is suitable for increasing their active participation in class. This research uses qualitative methods with interviews centered on students, teachers and parents in coastal environments as the main subjects. The research results show that the personal approach significantly increases student activity in class. Teachers who use this approach interact more often directly with students, both individually and in small groups. This interaction creates a comfortable and supportive learning atmosphere, so that students feel more confident to participate actively in learning.
