Abstract

The quality of education is one of the main issues that continues to be discussed in the world of education due to the complexity of the problem. Efforts to improve the quality of education in schools require concrete actions supported by effective principal leadership. This study aims to explore the role of principal leadership in building a culture of quality in the educational environment. The research approach uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that principals who apply a leadership style based on ethical values ​​and organizational culture are able to create behavior, culture, and symbols in schools that support the achievement of superior education quality. In conclusion, good principal leadership is the main key to improving accountability and quality of education in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic roles of Parents and Community in supporting educational quality at SDN Benua Anyar 4 Banjarmasin. The research methodology employed a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects included the School Principal. The findings reveal that parental and community contributions are highly significant in supporting quality education, reflected through active participation in school activities, providing moral and material support, and involvement in educational decision-making processes, resulting in no serious obstacles in the partnership between the School, Parents, and Community. The factors influencing such support include awareness of education's importance, educational levels, and the community's socio-economic conditions. The research concludes that synergistic collaboration among Schools, Parents, and Community is the key to creating a quality and sustainable educational environment.
