Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap kesejahteraan keuangan dengan tekanan keuangan sebagai variabel mediasi pada generasi sandwich di Kota Kendari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Partial least Square (PLS). Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan melibatkan 100 responden. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa literasi keuangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keuangan. Selain itu, literasi keuangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tekanan keuangan. Tekanan keuangan juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keuangan, serta tekanan keuangan terbukti memediasi pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap kesejahteraan keuangan pada generasi sandwich di Kota Kendari. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan keuangan generasi sandwich di Kota Kendari, namun pengaruhnya juga dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan mereka dalam mengelola tekanan keuangan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan program literasi keuangan yang lebih luas dan kebijakan yang lebih khusus untuk membantu generasi sandwich dalam mencapai kesejahteraan keuangan yang optimal.

Abstract

This program focused on strengthening the capabilities of the KAMIBISA small-scale palm sugar producer group in Lamosila Village, Kolaka Timur Regency. Through a participatory approach, this community engagement initiative aimed to address the group's challenges in production capacity, marketing, and financial management. The program included group dynamics training, production equipment upgrades, product innovation, digital marketing training, and financial record-keeping training. Findings indicate that the program successfully enhanced the group's communication and collaboration skills, improved product quality, expanded market reach, and heightened awareness of sound financial practices. Moreover, the program garnered support from the local government. In conclusion, this community engagement initiative positively impacted the capacity-building of the small-scale palm sugar producer group, with the potential to improve the overall well-being of the village community. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini berfokus pada program pemberdayaan Kelompok Komunitas Gula Aren KAMIBISA yang berlokasi di Desa Lamosila, Kecamatan Dangia, Kabupaten Kolaka Timur, Sulawesi Tenggara. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi, pemasaran, dan manajemen keuangan kelompok, sehingga dapat mendorong kemandirian dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh kelompok KAMIBISA mencakup tiga aspek: produksi, pemasaran, dan manajemen keuangan.  Program PKM ini berupaya untuk memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok KAMIBISA. Beberapa langkah strategis akan diambil untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, antara lain peningkatan kualitas produksi gula aren, pelatihan dinamika kelompok untuk memperkuat manajemen usaha, serta pelatihan pencatatan keuangan sederhana dan pemasaran digital untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar. Pelaksanaan program ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, yang melibatkan anggota kelompok secara aktif dalam setiap tahap kegiatan. HIngga saat ini, program tersebut mampu meningkatkan kualitas produksi gula aren kelompok.

Abstract

Research aim: This paper aims to identify important influences on the company performance of Muslim business owners in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, using a balanced scorecard development approach incorporating Islamic values and business practices.Design/Methodology/Approach: The research design used a quantitative approach called Exploratory Factor analysis through SPSS. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with 120 samples (Muslim entrepreneurs), with data collected through a survey questionnaire.Research findings: Three significant factors determining the business performance of Muslim entrepreneurs: strategy and internal business processes, business orientation, external stimuli, and Islamic business practices. Approaches to Islamic business practice are critical for improving Muslim entrepreneurs’ company performance.Theoretical contribution/ Originality: This finding is one of the new models of the balanced scorecard theory to measure and improve the performance of Indonesian Muslim entrepreneurs.Practitioner/Policy implication: Integration of business orientation with general approaches and sharia business practices such as halal product orientation and hard work can improve the business performance of Indonesian Muslim entrepreneurs.Research limitation/Implication: This study only investigated the performance of Muslim entrepreneurs in 7 districts/cities in Southeast Sulawesi with a sample of 120 Muslim MSMEs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the contribution of sago and household staple food security in Labela Village, Besulutu District, Konawe Regency. There were 40 households as samples and were obtained using a simple random sampling method to determine the sample studied. Data collection uses primary and secondary data methods. Data analysis is calculating income and frequency of sago consumption using the contribution formula. To analyze household food security, the HFIAS (Household Food Insecurity Access Scale) measurement method was used and to measure food diversity, the HDDS (Household Dietary Diversity Score) method was used. To determine the level of difference between sago and rice consumption, a one-sample t-test statistical analysis was used. The results of this research are that the average household income in Labela Village is IDR. 3,160,000.00 from agriculture and IDR. 2,970,000.00 non-agricultural income. The food security analysis consists of 4 categories, namely 20% of households are food insecure, 17% are mildly food insecure, 28% are moderately food insecure, and 35% are severely food insecure. The results of food diversity consist of 3 categories, namely 45% of low food diversity households (food groups 1-6), 37% medium food diversity (food groups 7-12), and 18% high food diversity (food groups 13-16). The contribution of sago, namely 40%, shows that sago is included in the medium contribution and the results of the T-test analysis show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, there is a correlation between sago consumption and rice as the family's staple food.
