Abstract

Innovative learning environments play a critical role in fostering key competencies in higher education. The research was conducted using a survey method involving the participation of alumni representatives from all study programs at UINSU. Based on the findings from 490 samples alumni, it is known that the emphasis on learning and learning aspects contribute significantly to predicting the perception of competence possessed by alumni (Y). However, learning facilities do not significantly contribute to Y. Based on the findings, facilities such as laboratories, libraries, and classrooms were deemed statistically insignificant in affecting competency development. Instead, learning methods, student engagement, and teaching quality played a more dominant role. Some of the causes of insignificant learning facilities are underutilization of resources, traditional teaching, and access barriers. The recommended improvement is innovation in evolve to become more integrated with teaching methods, fostering active, experiential, and collaborative learning. Universities should focus not only on building modern facilities but also on ensuring these facilities are effectively utilized to support competency development. Keywords: Leaning facilities innovation, Competency development, Higher studies

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pemikiran Seyyed Hossein Nasr mengenai etika lingkungan dan relevansinya bagi pembangunan ekonomi hijau dalam perspektif Islam. Sebagai tokoh mazhab Perennial dan filsafat Islam kontemporer, Nasr menegaskan pentingnya mengembalikan kesakralan alam (sacred nature) melalui kosmologi tauhid, konsep manusia sebagai khalifah dan pemegang amanah, serta kritik terhadap saintisme dan reduksionisme modern yang memicu krisis ekologis. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka dan analisis hermeneutik-konseptual terhadap karya-karya Nasr dan literatur terkait ekoteologi Islam dan keuangan/ekonomi syariah berkelanjutan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan: (1) etika lingkungan Islam berbasis tauhid, mizan (keseimbangan), ‘adl (keadilan), dan larangan israf (ekses) menyediakan prinsip normatif untuk tata kelola sumber daya; (2) ekonomi hijau dalam Islam perlu ditopang oleh maqasid al-syari‘ah yang menegaskan kemaslahatan lintas generasi; (3) instrumen kelembagaan seperti zakat lingkungan, wakaf hijau, hisbah, dan sukuk hijau dapat mengoperasionalkan nilai etis ke dalam kebijakan; (4) agenda operasional meliputi standar ESG syariah, rantai pasok halal sirkular, dan pengukuran dampak. Artikel ini menawarkan kerangka sintesis “Sacred-Value Green Economy” untuk mengintegrasikan spiritualitas, etika, dan instrumen ekonomi hijau berbasis syariah.

Abstract

This study explores Hasan Hanafi’s hermeneutics as a contemporary approach to interpreting Islam in response to the challenges of modernity. The rapid development of modern social, political, and cultural dynamics requires an interpretive methodology that goes beyond textual literalism and emphasizes contextual understanding. Hasan Hanafi develops a critical emancipatory hermeneutics that positions human beings as active subjects in interpreting revelation, integrating Islamic intellectual tradition, phenomenology, Marxism, and Western hermeneutics. His hermeneutical framework is built through three levels of consciousness historical, eidetic, and practical aimed at transforming religious texts into a source of social liberation and renewal. This research employs a qualitative method through literature study to analyze Hanafi’s ideas comprehensively. The findings indicate that Hanafi’s hermeneutics serves 006Eot only as a way to understand the text, but also as a transformative paradigm that bridges Islamic tradition with modernity, offering relevant solutions to contemporary issues faced by the Muslim world.
