Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the strategies carried out by the Head of BKPSDM and his staff in developing civil servant competencies along with supporting and inhibiting factors. The study was conducted at BKPSDM Nunukan Regency. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. Strategies in developing civil servant competencies are very necessary, especially in increasing the achievement of competency development rights for each civil servant. Based on the results of this study, it is known that there are still several deficiencies in the competency development planning process, including the absence of a competency development plan in accordance with the provisions, as well as an evaluation of the implementation of competency development. However, there are several steps taken in implementing competencies that have a significant impact on the achievement of fulfilling the right to develop competencies of 20 teaching hours each year.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' understanding of prayer material in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects through the demonstration method in class VII SMP Negeri 2 Minas. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) with 39 students as research subjects in 2022. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and student comprehension tests. The results showed that the application of the demonstration method significantly improved students' understanding of the correct prayer procedures. This improvement can be seen from the evaluation results before and after the application of the demonstration method. Thus, the demonstration method can be used as one of the effective learning strategies in improving students' understanding of prayer material.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to read hijaiyah letters of grade 1 students of SD Negeri 07 Mandiangin through Picture and Picture method. This study used a classroom action research design (PTK) conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 32 grade 1 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results showed that the Picture and Picture method can improve students' ability to read hijaiyah letters. In cycle I, the average student learning completeness reached 65.6%, while in cycle II it increased to 87.5%. The conclusion of this study is that the use of Picture and Picture method is effective in improving the ability to read hijaiyah letters of grade 1 students of SD Negeri 07 Mandiangin

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) of grade V students of SD Negeri 03 Minas Barat through the application of the demonstration method. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a subject of 39 students. This research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes after the application of the demonstration method. In cycle I, the average student score reached 72 with a completion percentage of 64.1%, while in cycle II it increased to 85 with a completion percentage of 89.7%. Thus, the demonstration method proved effective in improving students' PAI learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis metode dan strategi yang digunakan oleh guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter di SMPN 9 Tualang, Kabupaten Siak. Pendidikan karakter menjadi aspek krusial dalam membentuk kepribdaian siswa yang berakhlak mulia, terutama dalam lingkungan pendidikan formal. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, Dimana data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi guru PAI dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter siswa menggunakan beberapa strategi yaitu melalui kegiatan pembiasaan, menjadi model dan teladan, pembimbing, serta motivator, dan pemberian hukuman. Adapun faktor pendukung dalam penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter siswa yaitu guru yang dapat dijadikan teladan, didikan orang tua di rumah, fasilitas sekolah, kegiatan rutinan dan ekstrakurikuler sekolah. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu kurangnya kompetensi guru, kurangnya didikan orang tua, faktor lingkungan dan pergaulan.Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pendidikan karakter bergantung pada sinergi antara metode pengajaran, strategi yang diterapkan, serta dukungan dari berbagai pihak termasuk sekolah dan keluarga. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekondeasikan peningkatan pelatihan bagi guru, optimalisasi peran sekolah, serta penguatan kolaborasi dengan komunitas dalam upaya membentuk karakter siswa yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat dan solusi meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an siswa di SMPN 9 Tualang, Kabupaten Siak, Riau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 50 siswa yang menjadi partisipan penelitian, 30% siswa memiliki kemampuan membaca yang baik dengan penguasaan tajwid dan kefasihan yang cukup, 50% berada pada tingkat sedang di mana mereka masih sering melakukan kesalahan dalam pengucapan huruf dan penerapan hukum tajwid dan 20% siswa memiliki kemampuan rendah, mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenali huruf hijaiyah dan menyusun kata dengan benar. Tantangan utama dalam pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur'an di SMPN 9 Tualang adalah kurangnya motivasi siswa, metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif, dan kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua, dan keterbatasan fasilitas pembelajaran. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an siswa dilakuakn dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, peningkatan kompetensi guru dan penambah fasilitas pembelajaran. Dengan upaya ini, diharapkan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran siswa dapat meningkat secara signifikan dan lebih efektif dalam jangka panjang.
