Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang mengintegrasikan falsafah Dayak Bumi Gawi Hatantiring dengan bantuan media flip PDF pada siswa sekolah dasar. Falsafah Gawi Hatantiring menekankan pada nilai-nilai gotong royong dan kearifan lokal, diterapkan dalam materi ajar untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa inggris. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan one grup pretest and post-test design dan fokus utamanya adalah mengidentifikasi efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa inggris dengan falsafah dayak bumi gawi hatantiring menggunakan media flip PDF pada siswa sekolah dasar. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan tes yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dilakukan. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan uji paired t test dengan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan (< 0,05). Hal tersebut menghasilkan perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris berlandaskan falsafah gawi hatantiring berbantuan media flip PDF. Hasil uji effect size diperoleh angka sebesar 1,42 yang mana angka tersbeut berada pada kriteria efektivitas yag sangat besar (d > 0,8).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai Higher Education Consumer Choice di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan studi fenomenologi dengan jumlah sampel sebelas orang responden yang terbagi menjadi empat wilayah Kalimantan Tengah, yaitu bagian Utara, Bagian Timur, Bagian Barat dan Bagian tengah (Kota Palangka Raya). Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa terdapat gambaran pilihan pendidikan tinggi di Kalimantan Tengah yang didominasi pada faktor individu, dukungan keluarga, Training Activity, dan Achievement (kompetensi diri). Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan faktor-faktor yang terbentuk dari pilihan melanjutkan pendidikan. Secara rinci dijelaskan pada pembahasan penelitian ini   Overview of higher education consumer choice in the Kalimantan Tengah Province   Abstract: This research aims to determine the description of Higher Education Consumer Choice in Central Kalimantan Province. The qualitative method used is a phenomenological study approach with a sample size of eleven respondents divided into four regions of Central Kalimantan, namely the Northern, Eastern, Western, and Central (Palangka Raya City) parts. The results show that higher education choices in Central Kalimantan are dominated by individual factors, family support, training activity, and achievement (self-competence). This study also produces factors from the choice to continue education. It is explained in detail in the discussion of this research.

Abstract

This article discusses the interpretation of the muqatha’ah verses, specifically Surah al-Baqarah verse 1, which begins with the letters Alif Lam Mim, from the perspective of Abu Hasan al-Mawardi. The purpose of this study is to explore al-Mawardi’s understanding, approach, and contribution to the interpretation of these muqatha’ah letters, which have long been recognized as a unique linguistic and theological phenomenon in the Qur’an. This research employs a literature review method by analyzing al-Mawardi’s work An-Nukat wa al-‘Uyun and comparing it with the views of other classical mufassir (Qur’anic exegetes) regarding the muqatha’ah verses. The findings show that al-Mawardi offers diverse and profound interpretations, combining linguistic, numerical, and historical approaches to reveal the meanings behind these letters. His approach not only explains the muqatha’ah verses as signs of the greatness and miraculous nature of the Qur’an but also as an intellectual challenge for Muslims to understand the revelation more deeply. In conclusion, al-Mawardi’s interpretations enrich the classical tafsir tradition by opening a broad dialog on the symbolic meanings of the muqatha’ah verses. These findings are significant as a foundation for further research to explore the theological and rhetorical functions of the muqatha’ah verses in a modern context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the validity and reliability of an instrument developed to measure the factors influencing students’ decision-making in pursuing higher education in Central Kalimantan. Employing a quantitative descriptive design with a survey method, the instrument was constructed based on eight components: Individual Factors, Family Background, Training Activities, Social Factors, Cultural Influences, Achievement, Attitudes toward Institutional Factors, and Price Sensitivity. The questionnaire consisted of 48 Likert-scale items administered to 98 senior high school students from various districts in Central Kalimantan. Item validity was examined using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation, while reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha with the aid of SPSS. The analysis identified 30 items as valid and reliable indicators, meeting the statistical criteria for inclusion. The final instrument demonstrated strong internal consistency, with a Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.880. These findings confirm that the instrument is psychometrically sound and suitable for use in further research related to higher education decision-making. The validated scale provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the diverse individual, social, cultural, and institutional factors influencing students’ choices, particularly within the Central Kalimantan context.
