Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought substantial transformation to various aspects of life, including in the legal realm. In Indonesia, cyber law has experienced significant developments to overcome challenges that arise along with changes in technology and people's behavior in the digital space. These challenges include issues of cyber security, personal data protection, as well as increasingly complex cyber crimes. To respond to these challenges, Indonesia has made adjustments to the legal framework, including a revision of the ITE Law, which aims to increase protection for internet users and strengthen law enforcement in the cyber context. Although there are a number of obstacles such as competency gaps and legal adaptation to rapidly developing technology, these developments also provide great opportunities for digital economic growth and national cyber security.

Abstract

This study highlights the importance of leadership effectiveness in Islamic education management with a focus on the influence of Islamic values and managerial capabilities. It was found that the application of Islamic principles such as honesty, justice and ihsan by leaders can create a positive and supportive learning environment. In addition, good communication skills and the ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships also play an important role in building trust and loyalty among staff and students. Meanwhile, managerial skills in strategic decision-making and resource management are key factors in achieving educational goals. The study underlines that support from various stakeholders also greatly influences leadership effectiveness. Thus, the success of Islamic education management depends on the synergy between the application of Islamic values and reliable managerial competencies and optimising the achievement of the vision and mission of Islamic education institutions. The implication of this research is the need for training and leadership capacity building for leaders of Islamic education institutions to face the challenges and dynamics of education in the modern era.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of the digital economy has reshaped global commerce, introducing unprecedented opportunities and complexities in taxation and economic equilibrium. This paper presents a comprehensive systemic risk analysis to scrutinize the intricate interplay between digital taxation and the stability of the global economy. Through an exhaustive review of literature, case studies, and empirical data, it identifies and explores critical taxation challenges inherent in the digital realm, including tax base erosion, jurisdictional ambiguity, and regulatory fragmentation. Additionally, the analysis delves into the systemic risks associated with digital taxation, such as double taxation, tax competition, trade disputes, and regulatory arbitrage, emphasizing their far-reaching implications on economic stability, investment decisions, market dynamics, and fiscal sustainability. Drawing insights from effective mitigation strategies and successful case studies, the paper offers actionable recommendations for policymakers. These recommendations advocate for enhanced international cooperation, the development of consensus-based taxation frameworks, the utilization of digital technologies for tax compliance, and the reinforcement of multilateral institutions. By proactively addressing systemic risks, policymakers can nurture economic stability, spur innovation, and establish a fair and equitable tax landscape amidst the complexities of the digital era. This analysis contributes significantly to the ongoing discourse on digital taxation, providing valuable guidance for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners navigating the digital landscape while safeguarding global economic stability.
