Abstract

The results of the pre-test and post-test in this service show that local students, in this case MA students, are old enough to be considered capable of logical thinking and are considered to have advantages in understanding the social, cultural context and local potential of Mojokerto Regency. So that it can become an agent of change in encouraging more transparent, efficient and accountable financial governance. Good financial literacy contributes to increasing Regional Original Income (PAD), spending efficiency, and budget management that is oriented to community needs. To achieve this, this service invites and encourages MA Al Kautsar students to think critically, logically and encourages students to have concern for Mojokerto Regency. Students are encouraged to choose roles that can contribute to the better development of Mojokerto Regency. The post test results show that students plan to choose roles that are oriented towards developing personal skills which also have an impact on solving community problems, for example becoming health workers, education workers, and even improving skills in understanding religion such as memorizing the Koran. This service article recommends increasing the capacity of local youth through continuous training, strengthening collaboration between government and society, and applying modern technology to increase financial transparency. With this approach, Mojokerto Regency can realize better financial governance and inclusive and sustainable development through human resources who are active, intelligent and care about the progress of the region.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan pada perilaku remaja, termasuk di pedesaan seperti Desa Sukoharjo, Kecamatan Abung Surakarta, Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Media sosial, meski memberikan manfaat berupa akses informasi dan pengembangan keterampilan digital, sering kali menimbulkan dampak negatif, seperti kecemasan sosial, rendahnya kepercayaan diri, dan gangguan konsentrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak media sosial terhadap perilaku remaja di Desa Sukoharjo dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial dapat memperluas wawasan, memperkuat jejaring sosial, dan mendukung perilaku prososial, seperti empati dan kerja sama. Namun, intensitas penggunaan yang tinggi juga memicu kecenderungan isolasi sosial, penurunan kualitas tidur, dan paparan konten negatif. Rendahnya literasi digital dan kurangnya pendampingan orang tua memperburuk dampak negatif tersebut. Sebaliknya, penggunaan media sosial secara bijak dapat meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi, kreativitas, dan motivasi belajar remaja. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antara orang tua, pendidik, dan pemerintah desa menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan ekosistem yang mendukung penggunaan media sosial secara sehat. Program literasi digital dan pengawasan yang konsisten diusulkan untuk meminimalkan risiko dan memaksimalkan manfaat media sosial. Dengan pendekatan holistik, media sosial dapat menjadi alat pemberdayaan yang konstruktif bagi remaja di era digital.

Abstract

The role of Islamic boarding school leaders is crucial in shaping the character of students (santri), as they function not only as institutional heads but also as second parents to the students. These leaders hold the responsibility of nurturing student personalities in alignment with Islamic values. This study aims to explore the significance of leadership roles in character development and to examine the specific efforts taken by leaders based on the Ta'lim al-Muta'allim framework. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the leadership of Islamic boarding schools plays a vital role in the formation of student character. The personal traits and moral conduct of the leaders serve as role models, while their advice provides ethical guidance. Character development efforts include regular study sessions of the Taʻlīm al-Mutaʻallim book after evening prayers, supported by methods such as exemplary behavior, moral instruction, and interactive discussions.
