Abstract

Millennials now make up a significant portion of the workforce, valuing meaningful work, opportunities for development and a supportive work environment, making these factors crucial in retaining talent in the creative sector. This research aims to analyze the relationship between transformational leadership, work environment, and job satisfaction on the retention of millennial generation employees in the creative sector. The sample in this research consisted of 120 employees who worked in the creative industries in Indonesia who were determined using a purposive sampling approach. Data collection uses a questionnaire instrument which is then distributed online. Data analysis uses the SPSS application by displaying the results of data processing through validity and reliability tests, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, it is stated that transformational leadership, work environment, and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee retention. This research highlights the importance of adaptive leadership and a conducive work environment in retaining millennial talent which is vital for maintaining innovation and competitive advantage in the creative sector.

Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa SMAN 1 Cimahi melalui Adversity Quotient. Melalui pengabdian pada masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat memberi dampak positif pada proses pembelajaran dan perkembangan siswa, sehingga siswa SMAN 1 Cimahi dapat menjadi pribadi yang unggul, tidak mudah menyerah dan semangat dalam mencapai cita-cita meskipun banyak kesulitan yang akan dihadapi pada prosesnya. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pemahaman dan penanaman motivasi kepada siswa SMAN 1 Cimahi, serta memberikan pemahaman dan penanaman adversity quotient untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan siswa dalam menghadapi kesulitan akademik yang dihadapi. Hasil pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan sosialisasi menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar yang dimiliki siswa yang menjadi peserta kegiatan ini.

Abstract

This study investigates the problem of excessive raw material inventory at PT XYZ, driven by a misalignment between procurement planning and actual production demand, which has led to higher storage costs and operational inefficiencies. The research aims to analyze the root causes of inventory control issues and design an optimized inventory management system using the Just-In-Time (JIT) approach. A qualitative methodology with a social situation framework was applied, incorporating direct observations, in-depth interviews with warehouse managers and staff, and secondary document analysis. Triangulation techniques were used to ensure data credibility and reliability. Findings indicate that JIT implementation reduces inventory excess, optimizes storage utilization, strengthens coordination between departments and suppliers, lowers unnecessary costs, and improves service quality. The study contributes to the understanding of JIT application in the automotive industry, with novelty demonstrated through PT XYZ’s shift from traditional inventory methods to JIT. The research concludes that JIT is an effective solution for addressing inventory control challenges and suggests that its adoption could serve as a model for other manufacturing firms seeking to enhance inventory efficiency and competitiveness.
