Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management strategies of a Qur’anic tahfidz program based on students’ differentiated abilities, including program implementation, teachers’ pedagogical strategies, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with tahfidz teachers and madrasah administrators, as well as documentation of learning activities. Data analysis was conducted thematically through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the management strategies of the differentiated tahfidz program were implemented through diagnostic assessments to identify students’ initial abilities, flexible grouping based on ability levels, adjustment of memorization targets, and the development of adaptive teaching methods and instructional media. Teachers’ pedagogical strategies included the use of talaqqī, tikrār, peer tutoring, audio and visual learning media, immediate feedback, and the reinforcement of spiritual motivation. This approach was found to improve student engagement, the quality of Qur’anic recitation, memorization consistency, and learners’ self-confidence. Supporting factors included teacher competence, student motivation, parental involvement, the availability of learning facilities, and institutional policies that support the tahfidz program. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consisted of limited instructional time, imbalanced teacher-student ratios, and the uneven understanding of differentiated instruction among teachers. The study concludes that differentiated management strategies in Qur’anic tahfidz programs constitute an effective approach to accommodating students’ diverse abilities and contribute significantly to improving the academic and spiritual quality of tahfidz learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to formulate Origami Mufrodat learning materials incorporating the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model to strengthen students' drive for Arabic language acquisition in grade VI at MI Matholi'ul Falah Nambi. This study utilized a Research and Development (R&D) methodology based on the ADDIE framework, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. The data collection process utilized observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The evidence suggests that the formulated Origami Mufrodat media is valid, practical, and effective. The effectiveness analysis obtained 87%, labeled as very effective, whereas the feasibility testing through teachers' and students' feedback obtained 86%, labeled as very feasible. The integration of origami-based media with the TGT model successfully created an interactive, enjoyable, and collaborative learning environment that enhanced students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Therefore, Origami Mufrodat media incorporating the TGT model constitutes a fitting alternative learning approach for Arabic language pedagogy at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah educational level.

This study aims to analyze the role of educational supervision in enhancing the entrepreneurial competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah principals in Gresik Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies involving madrasah supervisors and principals as the primary informants. The findings reveal that educational supervision has transformed from a merely administrative function into a collaborative approach oriented toward strengthening entrepreneurial leadership capacity. Madrasah supervisors play strategic roles as facilitators, mentors, and partners through the implementation of mentoring, coaching, structured training, and continuous assistance. Contextual and needs-based supervision strategies have proven effective in improving the entrepreneurial competence of madrasah principals, particularly in terms of program innovation, resource management, and partnership network development. The enhancement of entrepreneurial competence has significantly contributed to the transformation of madrasah management, as reflected in improved managerial effectiveness, learning innovation, and institutional financial independence. These findings indicate that supervision functions as an enabling system in fostering adaptive and sustainable entrepreneurial leadership. This study recommends strengthening supervision models grounded in mentoring and collaboration as a systemic strategy for the development of Islamic education management. The implications of this research extend beyond improving educational quality, contributing also to economic capacity building and community empowerment through madrasah-based entrepreneurship programs
