Abstract

The problem of speech delay in children is quite a serious problem because it is one of the most common causes of developmental disorders found in male toddlers. Children can be said to have speech delays when the level of speech development is below the level of speech development quality of children of the same age which can be seen from the accuracy of word use. This study focuses on what are the dominant factors in cases of speech delay in toddlers. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The unit of analysis is speech delay. The subjects in this study were five male toddlers and one female toddler who experienced speech delays. The informants in this study numbered four people consisting of five parents and one sister of the subject. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and supporting documentation to strengthen the truth of the data taken. The results of the data analysis showed that the cause of speech delay in children was due to the duration of gadget use, as well as the communication style between parents and children. The implications of this study can help in early identification of speech delays in toddlers, so that intervention can be carried out earlier.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence between democratic parenting on emotional intelligence in late adolescents. This study is a quantitative study with the Wilcoxon test. The sample used was 408 late adolescents with puposive sampling technique... Data collection using scale instruments, namely the democratic parenting scale and emotional intelligence. The data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon test and multiple regression tests to determine the relationship between aspects and variables. The results of the analysis show that the significance value is p < (0.05) with a value of 0.000, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis in this study can be accepted (H1). It is known that all aspects of the democratic parenting variable (X) with a significance value of p < (0.05) with a value of 0.000, with a value (r²) of 0.910. This means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted that democratic parenting (X) on emotional intelligence (Y) in adolescents. The implication of the research is as a source of learning for late adolescents in the developmental period in order to recognize and manage emotions felt by individuals themselves. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk, mengetahui dan menganalisi adanya pengaruh antara pola asuh demokratis terhadap kecerdasan emosional pada remaja akhir. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan uji wilcoxon. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 408 orang remaja akhir dengan teknik puposive sampling.. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen skala, yaitu skala pola asuh demokratis dan kecerdasan emosional. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon dan uji regresi berganda untuk mengetahui keterkaitan antara aspek dengan variabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar p< (0,05) dengan nilai 0,000, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima (H1). Diketahui bahwa seluruh aspek dari variabel pola asuh demokratis (X) dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar p < (0,05) dengan nilai 0,000, dengan nilai (r²) sebesar 0,910. Artinya, hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima bahwa pola asuh demokratis(X) terhadap kecerdasan emosional(Y) pada remaja. Implikasi pada penelitian adalah sebagai sumber pembelajaran bagi remaja akhir dalam masa perkembangan agar dapat mengenali dan mengelola emosi yang dirasakan oleh individu sendiri.
