Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence between democratic parenting on emotional intelligence in late adolescents. This study is a quantitative study with the Wilcoxon test. The sample used was 408 late adolescents with puposive sampling technique... Data collection using scale instruments, namely the democratic parenting scale and emotional intelligence. The data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon test and multiple regression tests to determine the relationship between aspects and variables. The results of the analysis show that the significance value is p < (0.05) with a value of 0.000, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis in this study can be accepted (H1). It is known that all aspects of the democratic parenting variable (X) with a significance value of p < (0.05) with a value of 0.000, with a value (r²) of 0.910. This means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted that democratic parenting (X) on emotional intelligence (Y) in adolescents. The implication of the research is as a source of learning for late adolescents in the developmental period in order to recognize and manage emotions felt by individuals themselves. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana pola asuh demokratis dapat mengetahuikecerdasan emosional pada remaja akhir. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk, mengetahui dan menganalisi adanya pengaruh antara pola asuh demokratis terhadap kecerdasan emosional pada remaja akhir. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan uji wilcoxon. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 408 orang remaja akhir dengan teknik puposive sampling.. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen skala, yaitu skala pola asuh demokratis dan kecerdasan emosional. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon dan uji regresi berganda untuk mengetahui keterkaitan antara aspek dengan variabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar p< (0,05) dengan nilai 0,000, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima (H1). Diketahui bahwa seluruh aspek dari variabel pola asuh demokratis (X) dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar p < (0,05) dengan nilai 0,000, dengan nilai (r²) sebesar 0,910. Artinya, hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima bahwa pola asuh demokratis(X) terhadap kecerdasan emosional(Y) pada remaja. Implikasi pada penelitian adalah sebagai sumber pembelajaran bagi remaja akhir dalam masa perkembangan agar dapat mengenali dan mengelola emosi yang dirasakan oleh individu sendiri.

Abstract

Outbound training is an experiental learning process that is carried out to improve interpersonal relationships, team cohesiveness, and behavior modification by providing changes in individual characteristics. Outbound Training aims to help 13 employees of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Potential and Competency Assessment (PPK) of the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of South Sulawesi Province. The method in this study is to use the One Group Pre-Post Design Method, this method is supported by giving a team cohesiveness questionnaire as a pre-test then a post-test after giving intervention in the form of outbound training. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test, the 2-tailed significance value is 0.002 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the outbound training process on increasing team cohesiveness at UPT PPK BKD South Sulawesi Province, this can be seen in the results of data analysis, namely that there are differences in group cohesiveness values before and after the implementation of outbound training for employees of 13 UPT PPK BKD South Sulawesi Province. It can be concluded that Outbound training is effective in increasing team cohesiveness.
