Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers' efforts in improving the character of cooperation in early childhood aged 5-6 years through traditional clogs games in Kober Miftahul Huda. The character of cooperation is one of the important aspects in children's social development that needs to be instilled from an early age to support the ability to interact and collaborate with others. This study uses the classroom action research method (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 15 children aged 5-6 years in Kober Miftahul Huda. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively using descriptive techniques to evaluate the improvement of the character of cooperation. The results of the study show that the application of traditional clogs games in a systematic and structured manner can improve the character of children's cooperation. Children are seen to be more able to work together in groups, help each other, respect the opinions of friends, and obey the rules of the game. The percentage of improvement in children's cooperative character reached 85% in the second cycle compared to 65% in the first cycle. This shows that the traditional clog game is effective in building the character of early childhood cooperation.

Abstract

When children start folding paper, they can learn to fold their own clothes or simple objects. They can also learn to recognize shapes when they make shapes out of paper. The results of initial observations can be stated that children's motor skills are currently only around 17.7% or as many as 3 children in the category of children developing according to expectations (BSH) while children in the Very Well Developing category have not yet appeared, and the level scores of children in the Not Yet category are still high. Capable is 58.8% or as many as 10 children, while 4 children or 23.5% are still included in the category of children starting to develop (MB). The aim of this research is that researchers want to improve children's fine motor skills through paper folding activities. The method used in this research is the classroom action research method using research subjects, namely 17 children aged 5-6 years in KOBER Melati III Sukabumi Regency. Paper folding activities can improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD KOBER Melati III, Waluran District, Sukabumi Regency. Abstract

This research aims to improve the numeracy ability of early childhood ages 5-6 years through a guessing game using recycled materials at Kober Al Barokah. Numeracy is one of the important aspects in early childhood cognitive development that supports the understanding of basic mathematical concepts. This research uses the classroom action research method (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle covering the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 20 children aged 5-6 years in Kober Al Barokah. Data was collected through observation, numeracy tests, and documentation. The guessing game is designed using recycled materials such as cardboard, bottle caps, and ice cream sticks that are modified into interactive learning media. The results of the study show that the application of the guessing game in a structured manner can improve children's numeracy skills. In the first cycle, children's numeracy increased from an average of 60% to 75%, and in the second cycle it increased to 90%. Children are more enthusiastic about learning, able to recognize numbers, count the number of objects, and understand the concept of simple addition. The conclusion of this study is that the guessing game using recycled materials is effective in improving early childhood numeracy skills as well as instilling awareness of the importance of using recycled materials.

Abstract

Early childhood discipline, especially in cleaning up toys in the classroom, is an important aspect that needs to be developed from an early age. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the contract behavior method in improving the discipline of 4-5 year old children in Kober [name Kober]. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed in a qualitative and quantitative descriptive manner. The subjects of the study were 15 children aged 4-5 years who showed a low level of discipline in cleaning up toys. The contract behavior method is applied by providing mutual agreement between teachers and children regarding positive consequences (reward) and negative consequences (punishment) according to the behavior shown. The results of the study show that the application of the contract behavior method can significantly improve children's discipline. In pre-action, only 40% of children are disciplined in cleaning up toys. After the first cycle, the percentage increases to 70%, and by the end of the second cycle it reaches 90%. Children become more aware of the importance of discipline and feel motivated to clean up toys with attractive rewards and appropriate punishments. This study concludes that the contract behavior method is effective in improving early childhood discipline in cleaning up toys. It is recommended that teachers and parents can apply this method consistently to build positive discipline habits in children from an early age.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability of early childhood 5-6 years old to recognize geometric shapes using the Smart Home learning media at KB Melati VI. This research was carried out using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which consisted of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in three cycles: pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II, with 15 children aged 5-6 years. At the planning stage, Rumah Pintar media is designed to contain various geometric shapes that are interesting, interactive, and easy for children to understand. The implementation of learning uses a play-by-learning approach, where children are invited to recognize, group, and name geometric shapes through fun activities. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the study showed a significant increase in children's ability to recognize geometric shapes. In the pre-cycle stage, the average child's ability reached 45%, then increased to 70% in cycle I, and reached 90% in cycle II. This shows that the effective use of Rumah Pintar media can increase children's interest in learning and ability to recognize geometric shapes. This study concludes that Rumah Pintar media is an effective learning tool in improving early childhood cognitive abilities, especially in recognizing geometric shapes. The researcher recommends the use of similar media for the development of other cognitive aspects and encourages the innovation of learning media that is in accordance with the characteristics of early childhood.

The development of children's intelligence is greatly influenced by creativity-based education. Coloring skills are examples of creative potential that are no less important for the development of children's creativity, and this is done from an early age. This activity can increase children's creativity and improve their fine motor development. The purpose of this study is to increase children's creativity in coloring activities, this is because in the initial observation the level of creativity in coloring in KB Tunas Bahari Pajagan has not yet appeared. Children's creativity in coloring most of them do not know how to color the picture according to the original, cannot explain what is colored, or explain the meaning of the picture. They even tend to color images with just one color. Of the 15 students, there were no children who developed Very Well (BSB) or 0%, children who developed according to expectations (BSH) 13.3% with a total of 2 children, children who began to develop 33.3% with a total of 5 children, and children who were not yet developed (BB) as many as 53.4% with a total of 8 children. In this study, using the Classroom Action Research method in the implementation of observations, it was carried out using 2 cycles, in which 2 activities were carried out in each cycle. Abstract

One of the educational game tools is blocks, which are usually made of wood. Three-dimensional blocks have various shapes, such as cubes, cylinders, tubes, cones, spheres, spheres, triangular prisms, rectangular pyramids, or pyramids, and various colors that are attractive to children. Block media helps children imagine and think about turning it into a certain shape. They are also trained to put blocks together one by one, and they can think about what to make. If children receive continuous practice, their imagination and creative abilities will develop. The more unique ideas children have, the more creative they are. The aim of this research is to find out how games influence children's creativity in children aged 5-6 years in group B PAUD SPS TP Melati Cisolok. This research uses classroom action research methods.
