Abstract

Efficient data management is essential for organizations, especially in the face of large volumes of data. Digitization of archives through document collection, scanning, and manipulation can improve operational efficiency, reduce the risk of data loss, and facilitate information access. operational efficiency, reduce the risk of data loss, and facilitate access to information. This research focuses on implementation of a document classification system in BKPSDM Nabire using VBA and Microsoft Excel to improve efficiency of data processing. The method used is the waterfall model, which includes the needs analysis stage, system design, implementation, and testing. The results of the analysis show that manual document management has many weaknesses, such as difficulty in conveying information and lack of supporting applications. Solution The proposed solution is a Visual Basic and Excel-based system, which enables automatic document processing, improve data accuracy and consistency, as well as facilitate search and decision making. Abstract

This application is an innovative solution that uses Microsoft Excel as the main platform to facilitate the employee recruitment process in companies. With a focus on efficiency and ease of use, this application provides various features that support complete management from start to finish of the recruitment process. The main features of this application include neatly structured candidate data management in Excel spreadsheet format. This allows HR and recruiting teams to easily manage important information such as resumes, educational history, work experience, as well as interview and test notes. In addition, this application is equipped with a data-based evaluation tool that allows companies to identify candidates who best suit the needs of the available positions. The use of Excel formulas and analytical features helps in making smarter and more informed hiring decisions. Integration with email allows candidates to be sent notifications regarding the status of their applications automatically, improving transparency and applicant experience. An interactive analytical dashboard is also provided to monitor and analyze the effectiveness of recruitment strategies in real-time. With a combination of the reliability of Microsoft Excel as a data analysis tool and extensive customization capabilities, this application is designed to optimize the employee recruitment process, increase operational efficiency, and reduce the time needed to fill vacant positions.

Abstract

Managing contract employee data is an important aspect in maintaining employee productivity and well-being in an organization or company. This research aims to design a database that can manage contract employee data effectively and efficiently. Using the prototyping method, this research involves several stages, namely problem formulation, data collection, system analysis, and system development. Data is collected through surveys, interviews, and observations, then analyzed to understand the needs of the system. Initial prototypes are developed and evaluated to ensure conformity to user needs. The designed database allows for centralized and structured storage of employee data, facilitates data access and updates, improves data consistency and accuracy, and improves security and ease of data analysis. Testing is carried out by black-box method to ensure system functionality. The test results show that the system can manage contract employee data well, meet user needs, and provide support for better decision-making in human resource management. The study concludes that integrated and well-documented management of contract employee data can improve operational efficiency and support organizational success.

Abstract

The development of a letter archiving system based on Visual Basic at the Bapperida Office of Central Papua Province aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of letter archive management. This system addresses various issues found in manual archiving, such as slow processes, difficulty in searching, risks of document damage and loss, and the large space required for storage. With features like automation, advanced search, digital storage, and access control, this system enables faster, more accurate, and safer archiving processes. The use of the prototype method ensures the system meets user needs through continuous iterations. The research results indicate that this system successfully improves the quality of information services, supports good governance principles, and provides significant storage space savings. Overall, this system is expected to better and more efficiently support the execution of organizational tasks and functions.

Abstract

An effective and accurate employee payroll application is crucial to support the operations of the Department of Agriculture, Food, Marine, and Fisheries of Central Papua Province. This study aims to develop a payroll application system using the Laravel framework that can assist in the payroll management process more efficiently and structurally. The methodology used includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results show that this application can improve efficiency and accuracy in employee payroll management in the relevant department. The implementation of this application is also expected to reduce manual errors and enhance transparency in the payroll process.

Abstract

The payroll system is one of the topics related to managing employee welfare, so companies/offices must pay attention to it in order to achieve their goals. With an adequate payroll system, payroll can be made systematically to pay wages according to each employee's rights from the start, and errors in payroll are undesirable. Problems that occur in the Nabire Land Office payroll system currently include data that has not been stored properly because it has not used a payroll information system, employee salary data must be checked repeatedly in the columns filled in using Excel tools, errors occur in calculating employee salaries and processing slips. salary that counts for a long time. Apart from that, in making salary receipts every month, you have to manually record data on permanent Rapid Application Development(RAD). This helps the Nabire Papua Land Office to develop a better and more efficient payroll system by addressing the problems mentioned above. The system should be designed to be easy to use, allowing for easy customization and customization of the system.

Abstract

The management of incoming and outgoing correspondence in an effective and efficient manner is a crucial aspect in supporting the performance of government organizations, including the Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Nabire Regency. As an institution responsible for handling personnel administration, BKPSDM regularly receives and sends a large volume of official letters every month. However, the archiving process is still conducted manually using physical media such as folders, filing cabinets, and record books. This manual system presents several drawbacks, including the risk of data loss, delays in document retrieval, recording errors, and the potential for physical damage to archives due to environmental factors. This study aims to design and develop a digital archiving system for incoming and outgoing letters using the Waterfall software development methodology. The Waterfall method is selected because of its structured approach and suitability for projects with clearly defined requirements. The stages in this method include requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The result of this research is a web-based letter archiving information system that can efficiently record, store, and retrieve correspondence accurately and securely. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the efficiency and accountability of letter archive management at BKPSDM Nabire Regency and support the acceleration of digitalization in government administrative services.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based employee attendance system with selfie at PT Gunung Selatan. The system was developed as a solution to common issues in manual attendance processes, such as fraud, location limitations, and low time efficiency. Using a Research and Development (RAD) approach and prototyping method, the system was built iteratively with integrated technologies including facial recognition, liveness detection, and GPS. Key features include real-time attendance logging, online leave requests, and integrated attendance reporting. The implementation results show significant improvements in operational efficiency, data accuracy, and transparency in employee attendance management. The system also has the potential for further integration with HR and payroll systems.

Abstract

Efficient operations of PT PLN, as a vital electricity provider, heavily rely on effective service management, including customer data collection and payment processing. Employee performance supervision is crucial to ensure optimal results and customer satisfaction, given that traditional manual systems often suffer from inefficiencies, inaccuracies, and delays. This research aims to develop and implement a web-based performance monitoring system for electricity bill delivery officers to enhance operational efficiency and accountability at PT PLN. The Waterfall method was adopted as a systematic development framework, encompassing stages of requirements analysis, design using Unified Modeling Language (UML) such as use case diagrams and activity diagrams, implementation with PHP and MySQL, and black box testing to validate system functionality. The results of the black box testing indicate that all main functions of the system, including user authentication, user data management, uploading of daily reports and supporting files by officers, and the administrator's ability to monitor and review reports, function as expected. The successful implementation of this system indicates its capability to overcome the limitations of manual methods and provide real-time visibility into the performance of field officers. Thus, this web-based monitoring system not only contributes to improving data accuracy and operational efficiency at PT PLN but also supports more informative and strategic managerial decision-making, aligning with digital transformation initiatives in the energy sector
