Abstract

The interpretation of verses on gender and feminism in the Koran can be contextualized in accordance with the Koran’s ethical values. but in practice there are several gender approaches in the study of the Koran, thus Muslims tend to see feminism as something that comes from outside that must be responded to. In this case there are 3 groups; Anti-Feminism, arguing that the system of relations between men and women in society is in accordance with the teachings of Islam. Gender and feminism come from the west and are expected to damage the standard Islamic teachings.Pro feminism, which argued that women in general were in a discriminatory patriarchal society system that needs to be reconstructed. All teachings of feminism are congenial with Islamic values. The West is seen as a symbol of progress (modernity), so what comes from the west is considered good. The three groups that Accepting and Rejecting Selectively, this group tent objectify certain matters as what comes from the was can not be considered bad by default, so good things need to be taken. Even gender and feminism have experienced a plurality of streams, so that what is congenial with Islam is accepted and contrary with Islam is rejected. Therefore, it is necessary to reform the interpretation about gender relations that are textual and can be more contextual and harmonious with the ideal values of the holy Koran that are just, egalitarian, and humane.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Program Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an (BTAQ) di Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta menggunakan pendekatan evaluasi berbasis checklist dalam kerangka Model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Program BTAQ merupakan program pembelajaran Al-Qur’an yang dirancang untuk memperkuat literasi keislaman mahasiswa sekaligus membentuk karakter religius di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Evaluasi program ini dipandang penting mengingat implementasinya belum pernah dinilai secara sistematis, terukur, dan komprehensif. Penelitian menggunakan desain evaluasi deskriptif kuantitatif-kualitatif dengan melibatkan 22 responden, terdiri atas 20 mahasiswa peserta BTAQ, 1 dosen pengampu, dan 1 tenaga kependidikan pengelola program. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan instrumen checklist berbasis Model CIPP. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan menghitung persentase ketercapaian setiap indikator. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa: (1) aspek konteks dinilai relevan karena program dirancang berdasarkan kebutuhan nyata dan keragaman kemampuan awal mahasiswa; (2) aspek input memadai, ditandai kompetensi pengajar yang qualified, metode student-centered, dan instrumen penilaian terstruktur; (3) aspek proses berjalan aplikatif dan adaptif melalui kombinasi teori-praktik serta strategi rekaman audio/video dan peer group, meskipun konsistensi kehadiran mahasiswa masih perlu ditingkatkan; dan (4) aspek produk menunjukkan hasil sangat baik dengan rata-rata capaian ±93%93%, tingkat kelulusan ±96%96%, dan keterukuran output 100%. Program BTAQ terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan baca tulis Al-Qur’an mahasiswa sekaligus memperkuat religiusitas dan karakter disiplin. Temuan ini merekomendasikan keberlanjutan dan pengembangan program dengan pendekatan mixed-method yang lebih komprehensif.
