Abstract

Education is the foundation of human life that cannot be separated from the lifelong learning process. However, education today is often focused on cognitive aspects, neglecting the importance of character and moral formation. Phenomena such as bullying in schools show the low and real moral degradation among students, even though they have good academic achievements. This article examines the role of Islamic religious education in shaping the character of global diversity in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, by emphasizing the importance of moral and spiritual values in education. Through this approach, it is expected that students will not only become intelligent individuals but also have noble characters and are able to get along well in society and in the school environment. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review method to explore relevant literature, and the results show that character education based on religious values can overcome the problem of negative behavior among students. Thus, Islamic religious education plays an important role in creating a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also has high moral integrity.

Abstract

Pendidikan saat ini terus mengalami perubahan sebagai upaya peningkatan dunia pendidikan. Namun dari berbagai perubahan pada pendidikan belum terlihat adanya perubahan yang signifikan dari dunia pendidikan. Semakin banyak kerusakan yang terjadi jika dilihat sebagian besar adalah persoalan moral individu. Maka terhadap hal ini Qur’an mempunyai solusi terhadap pembentukan kepribadian terbaik. Penerapan pembelajaran Qur’an dengan program tahfidz berupaya melakukan perbaikan pada individu menjadi manusia yang berkepribadian Islam dan berpola piker cerdas. Terhadap pelaksanaan ini adanya pengembangan kurikulum yang dilakukan sekolah untuk memudahkan terlaksananya program tahfiiidz di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatakan kualitatif. Dimana akan melihat dampak atas tindakan atau penerapan model yang diterapkan dengan program unggulan tahfidz di Madrasah Ibtidayiyah NU Assyi Rojiah Wonorejo. Pada penelitian ini melihat bagaimana pengembangan kurikulum dengan program unggulan tahfidz di Madrasah Ibtidayiyah NU Assyi Rojiah Wonorejo diterapkan untuk mencapai tujuan dan profil lulusan yang diharapkan oleh sekolah tersebut. Terlaksananya program tahfidz ini mencapai keberhasilan yang dapat dilihat dari interaksi siswa dan Al-Qur’an yang mengalami perkembangan yang baik serta hafalan yang terus bertambah pada peserta didik.

Abstract

  A challenge in education nowadays is the incompatibility between learning media used and student characteristics, which results in low educational effectiveness in developing competitive and ethical individuals. This study aimed to examine the selection of appropriate learning media based on student characteristics as an effort to improve the quality and effectiveness of learning. The research method used was qualitative with a case study approach, conducted on the fifth-grade students at SDN Minomartani. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of the learning process and media used by teachers. The results of the study indicated that edutainment-based learning media, especially game media, could increase student motivation, engagement, and understanding of learning materials. This media combined elements of education and entertainment to create a fun and meaningful learning experience. However, there were obstacles to its implementation, requiring adapted media so that it could be accessed through school facilities such as computers.
