Abstract

This study aims to enhance the verbal communication of autistic students at the SMPKh level at Samantha Special School in Serang City using Rolling Picture learning media. The research follows an experimental approach with a single subject research (SSR) design and an A-B-A structure. The subject of the study is one SMPKh student with autism-related challenges. The target behavior in this study is the ability to understand the use of place. Data collection was carried out through observation and action tests, and the data analysis employed descriptive statistical methods with graphical representation. According to the results, the average ability to understand the use of place during the baseline 1 phase (A1) was 41%, reflecting the natural condition before any intervention. In the intervention phase (B), the average result increased to 74.5%, indicating the effect of the intervention. In the baseline 2 phase (A2), the average result further rose to 86.3%, showing the natural outcome after receiving the treatment or intervention. Based on the data, it can be concluded that Rolling Picture media helps improve verbal communication by enhancing the ability to understand the use of places in autistic students at the SMPKh level at SKh Samantha in Serang City.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan komunikasi verbal siswa autis tingkat SMPKh di Sekolah Khusus Autis Samantha Kota Serang dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Rolling Picture. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan desain penelitian subjek tunggal (SSR) dan struktur A-B-A. Subjek penelitian adalah satu orang siswa SMPKh dengan tantangan terkait autisme. Target perilaku dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan memahami penggunaan tempat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes tindakan, dan analisis data menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dengan representasi grafis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata kemampuan memahami penggunaan tempat pada fase baseline 1 (A1) sebesar 41%, yang mencerminkan kondisi natural sebelum diberikan intervensi. Pada fase intervensi (B), hasil rata-rata meningkat menjadi 74,5%, yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh intervensi. Pada fase baseline 2 (A2), hasil rata-rata semakin meningkat menjadi 86,3%, yang menunjukkan hasil alami setelah menerima perlakuan atau intervensi. Berdasarkan data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Gambar Bergulir membantu meningkatkan komunikasi verbal melalui peningkatan kemampuan memahami penggunaan tempat pada siswa autis tingkat SMPKh di SKh Samantha Kota Serang.

Abstract

Groundwater recharge is a crucial factor in determining the permissible groundwater extraction within a watershed. In the Cikapundung watershed, the contribution of groundwater to raw water supply has been continuously declining, prompting a shift from groundwater to surface water usage. This study aims to quantify the groundwater recharge volume and recharge coefficient for each geological formation within the Cikapundung-Gandok watershed, covering an area of 90.4 km², and to compare the results with previous studies. The analysis estimates recharge volumes based on rainfall data from 8 stations around the Cikapundung-Gandok watershed from 2010 to 2019, geological formation data, and alternative recharge coefficients. The difference in recharge volume from previous studies is 393,348 m³/year or 1%. Two formations, Qvu and Qyu, which were not identified in earlier studies, supplement the existing geological dataset. The selected recharge volume for the Cikapundung-Gandok watershed is 33,232,004 m³/year or 1.05 m³/s, with the lowest contribution from the Lava formation (Qyl) at 1,364,504 m³/year or 0.04 m³/s and the highest from the Old Volcanic Product (Qvu) at 14,072,243 m³/year or 0.45 m³/s. The tentative recharge coefficients for each rock formation are as follows: Colluvium (Qc) 30%; Unweathered Old Volcanic Product (Qvu) 20%; Sand Tuff (Qyd) 10%; Lava (Qyl) 25%; Pumiceous Tuff (Qyt) 20%; and Young Volcanic Product (Qyu) 20%. The groundwater recharge data obtained can be used to set groundwater extraction limits and to plan for groundwater management using a conservative approach to ensure long-term sustainability.Keywords: groundwater recharge, recharge coefficient, geological formation, groundwater exploitation, Cikapundung-Gandok Watershed
