Abstract

Kurangnya edukasi masyarakat mengenai potensi tanaman obat keluarga (toga) di Desa Waluran yang dapat dijadikan peluang usaha untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Diversifikasi produk tanaman obat keluarga yang telah dilaksanakan menghasilkan enam produk makanan dengan bahan dasar tanaman obat keluarga karas tulang diantaranya, cookies, sistick, akar kelapa, kombucha, gula semut, dan sabun. Pemasaran secara digital marketing dapat diakses melalui media sosial dan online shop. Potensi yang dapat dilakukan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat selanjutnya adalah eksplorasi wisata alam Desa Waluran yang dapat menarik turis lokal hingga asing untuk lebih mengenal Desa Waluran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi hate speech dalam film Budi Pekerti karya Wregas Bhanuteja dengan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Film ini menggambarkan dinamika ujaran kebencian di ruang digital melalui tokoh Bu Prani, seorang guru yang menjadi korban perundungan daring akibat penyebaran video potongan tanpa konteks yang memicu opini publik negatif. Dalam konteks masyarakat digital Indonesia, ujaran kebencian tidak hanya hadir dalam bentuk kata-kata kasar, tetapi juga termanifestasi melalui framing media, labeling sosial, dan narasi viral yang berdampak pada martabat dan kehidupan pribadi korban. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi terhadap adegan-adegan film yang mengandung tanda-tanda verbal dan visual yang berkonotasi ujaran kebencian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hate speech dalam film Budi Pekerti direpresentasikan melalui empat skenario utama, yakni konflik verbal di ruang publik, komentar netizen pascavideo viral, konten youtuber yang memicu cancel culture, dan penolakan terhadap metode pendidikan reflektif. Penelusuran makna denotatif, konotatif, hingga mitos pada tiap adegan mengungkap bagaimana masyarakat digital mengonstruksi realitas sosial berdasarkan persepsi visual yang dimediasi teknologi. Film ini mengkritisi bagaimana viralitas telah menggeser posisi kebenaran faktual dan menegaskan bahwa ruang digital telah menjadi arena penghakiman massal yang minim empati dan etika. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam wacana komunikasi digital, literasi media, dan urgensi penguatan etika publik dalam menghadapi budaya ujaran kebencian di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the utilization of the Google Earth application in history learning and to analyze its role in supporting students' spatial understanding and engagement. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang. The research subjects consisted of five history teachers and 34 students from class X.A3. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, using triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results indicate that the utilization of Google Earth contributes to assisting students in understanding the spatial aspects of historical events through more concrete location visualizations. Furthermore, the use of this medium supports students' active involvement in the learning process through exploration, discussion, and analysis activities. The findings also suggest that learning has the potential to become more contextual and interactive, although its implementation is still influenced by the availability of facilities and teacher readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Crayon Shinchan film on the character development of elementary school students. The background of the research arises from the phenomenon that entertainment media, particularly animated films, have a strong appeal to children and the potential to shape both positive and negative behaviors. The method used is content analysis by observing the episode Pantsu O Kai Ni Iku Zo through thematic coding of verbal behavior, physical gestures, social interactions, and implicit messages displayed. The results of the study show a dominance of negative behaviors such as vulgar humor, teasing, and lack of self-control exhibited by both the main and supporting characters. These findings align with Bandura’s Observational Learning theory, which states that children tend to imitate behaviors they observe in media. The messages contained in the show are ambiguous, explicitly emphasizing entertainment but implicitly normalizing impolite behavior. This contrasts with educational shows such as Upin & Ipin, which emphasize values of social care and friendship. The study highlights the importance of parental and teacher guidance in directing children to choose shows that align with character education values, as well as the need for regulation of children’s programming in Indonesia.
