Abstract

Learning strategies have a considerable role in teaching and learning activities. The role of teachers in the learning process is very important, it is the teacher who designs learning methods, models, and strategies to achieve the expected learning goals, especially to attract the students' own interest in learning. This study aims to determine the influence of active learning strategies on mathematics learning interest. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a type of pre-experimental research. This research was carried out with a one-group pretest posttest design research design. Pretest and posttest are carried out by collecting data using questionnaires. Questionnaires and observation sheets were used in data collection. This research was carried out by providing active learning strategies to grade V students of SDN Tayem 01 Karangpucung in mathematics. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. The results of the study with the title The influence of active learning strategies on the interest in learning mathematics of Class V students of SDN Tayem 01 Karangpucung had a significant effect on an increase when learning using the active learning strategy.

Abstract

Learners who think creatively tend to understand a problem more easily and more quickly in solving problems. Learners' creativity can be developed through Fine Arts learning with diverse teaching materials, such as household waste. This study aims to find out whether or not there is an influence of teaching materials from household waste on students' creativity in Fine Arts learning class V at SDN Kutasari 02 Cipari. The research method used is quantitative research in the form of pre-experimental design. The researcher used a purpossive sampling technique where the sample taken was a class V student. The data was analyzed by one sample T test. The average score of the results of the students' creativity questionnaire after being treated was 82.06. The results of the One Sample T-test hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.000. The significance value is less than 0.05 at the 95% confidence level, which means that Ho is rejected and Hα is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the use of teaching materials from household waste has an influence on the creativity of students in Fine Arts learning class V of SDN Kutasari 02 Cipari.

Abstract

The learning of IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) tends to present abstract concepts that are difficult for elementary school students, especially in the fourth grade, to understand. Old and conventional learning media that are verbal tend to be less effective in enhancing students' conceptual understanding. Therefore, there is a need for more interesting, interactive, and effective learning media, one of which is the use of audio-visual media. This research aims to determine whether the use of audio-visual media is effective in improving the conceptual understanding of IPAS among fourth-grade students at Selanegara State Elementary School 1. This research uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instrument used was a test to measure the understanding of IPAS concepts before and after the treatment. The sample in this study consisted of fourth-grade students from SD Negeri 1 Selanegara. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. The results showed an increase in the average score from 69 in the pretest to 87 in the posttest. The t-test indicated that this increase was statistically significant with a significance value of <0.001. Additionally, the students showed higher enthusiasm and paid more attention during the learning when audio-visual media was used.

Abstract

Learning based on the Merdeka Curriculum must be implemented in accordance with the provisions of the learning process with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to describe how the Merdeka Curriculum is applied in IPAS learning for fifth grade at SD Negeri 1 Selanegara. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this research are the school principal, fifth-grade teacher, and five students selected based on certain criteria. The stages of data analysis are performed by reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the data analysis, it shows that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in learning IPAS for fifth grade at Selanegara Elementary School 1 goes through three main stages: planning, implementation, and assessment of learning. The planning focuses on learning objectives and teacher training, while the implementation uses lecture and group discussion methods, although differentiated learning has not been effective yet. The assessment includes formative, summative, and reflective assessments to improve the quality of learning. However, the implementation of this Merdeka Curriculum is not yet fully optimal due to existing issues and obstacles in its execution.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of scout extracurricular activities on the motivation of SD Negeri 1 Selanegara students. This study uses a quantitative type with a survey method. The subjects of this study are students in grades III, IV, and V of SD Negeri 1 in the country totaling 25 students with simple random selection or using the Simple Random Sampling method. Data collection uses questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The student motivation questionnaire used was 33 statements that were declared valid and reliable. The results of the study showed an increase in student motivation in scouting extracurricular activities with 95% declared good and 5% adequate. The results of the Shapiro-Wilk Test can be seen that the significance value of variable X (Student Motivation) is 0.128 and variable Y (Scout Extracurricular) is 0.652 which means that the significance value of > 0.05, then it can be concluded that both data are normally distributed. The results of the linearity test showed that the two variables had a linear relationship of 0.948 more than 0.05 with Deviation From Linearity. The results of the T test are known to have a significance value of SIG.< 0.05. The value of t is 4.542 and t of the table is 2.069 which means that t is calculated > t of the table and the value of R Square is 0.473. So it can be concluded that Ha was accepted, which means that there is an influence of scout extracurricular activities on the motivation of SD Negeri 1 Selanegara students.

Abstract

The background of this research is how the ability to count in the congklak game, so that students are interested in learning mathematics using the congklak game method. This study aims to describe the ability to count using the congklak game method in class III SDN Segaralangu 01. The method used in this research is the congklak game method. Data collection techniques in this study are observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques.So for this reason researchers are interested in students learning mathematics using the congklak game method. This research is on the ability to count using the congklak game method in class III SDN Segaralangu 01. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of this study was the congklak game for third-grade students at SDN Segaralangu 01 in numeracy skills. The object of this research is students of class III SDN Segaralangu 01 in the process of learning mathematics in the congklak game. The results of this study are how to learn mathematics using the congklak game method in class III at SDN Segaralangu 01. Based on the results of the research that has been done, general conclusions can be used in learning mathematics using the congklak game method.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a mental development program with Pancasila characters for 5th-grade students in elementary school. This program is designed to help students develop the character and values of Pancasila as a basis for behaving and acting. The research was carried out using the development method which involved three stages, namely the definition, development, and evaluation stages. The research was conducted on fifth-grade students at an elementary school in the Jabodetabek area. The results of this study indicate that the Pancasila character development program can improve students’ ability to recognize and apply Pancasila values in everyday life. Apart from that, this program also helps students to develop positive characteristics such as integrity, responsibility, discipline, and social concern.

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research was to improve students' speaking skills through the application of the sociodrama method to fifth-grade students at SDN Sindangbarang 04. This study used classroom action. The subjects of this study were fifth-grade students at SDN Sindangbarang 04, totaling 27 students (14 boys and 13 girls). The objects of this research are speaking skills and the sociodrama method. This classroom action research was conducted through two cycles. From the results of the actions from cycle I to cycle II, there was an increase in students' speaking skills. Researchers used a research design developed by Kemmis and Taggart with a spiral model whose implementation consisted of four series of activities as a cycle, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data.The results showed that learning speaking skills using the sociodrama method could improve the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Sindangbarang 04. The improvement in speaking skills using the sociodrama method was as follows, (1) the average value of speaking skills in cycle I was 69.03, an increase of 13.53 from the pre-action value of 55.5, and the percentage of completeness increased by 18.5% from the pre-action percentage of 22.2% to 40.7% (2) the average value of speaking skills cycle II 78 increased 8.97 from the pre-action value of 69 .03, and the percentage of completeness increased by 48.18% from the pre-action percentage of 40.7% to 88.88%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' speaking skills in Indonesian subjects through role playing learning models in grade 4 SDN Suru Sunda 01. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in two cycles. Participants in this study were 4th grade students at SDN Suru Sunda 01 with a total of 25 students. The instruments used in this study were oral tests and observations. The results of the study show that the use of role playing learning models can improve students' speaking skills. In cycle 1, the average percentage of student scores was 70.8% and in cycle 2 it increased to 84.4%. This shows that there is an increase in students' speaking skills in Indonesian through the use of role playing learning models. Thus, it is suggested that teachers be more active in applying the role playing learning model as an alternative to improve students' speaking skills in learning Indonesian.
