Abstract

Sebagaimana yang telah diketahui, bahwa pesantren di Indonesia memiliki akar sejarah yang panjang, pendidikan yang khas dan unik, bahkan menjadi subkultur masyarakat yang berbeda dari masyarakat umum disekitarnya. Namun lebih dari itu ada pola khas pesantren setiap menghadapi hal baru, yang merupakan bentuk nyata dari moderasi dalam beragama, pola itu adalah implementasi sebuah kaidah ushul fiqh yang berbunyi المحافظة على القديم الصالح والأخذ بالجديد الأصلح (menjaga tradisi lama yang masih layak dan sekaligus mengambil tradisi baru yang lebih baik, dengan bahasa Izzudin bin Abdissalam disebut dengan mengambil atau “mengadopsi” kebaikan (جلب المصالح). Pola ini tercermin dalam penerapan pendidikan madrasah dan pendidikan formal oleh pesantren sebagai bentuk sikap adaptif terhadap nilai kebaikan (مصلحة) dalam kemajuan sistem pendidikan, meskipun harus dengan melakukan modernisasi dalam sistem pendidikannya. Pendidikan pesantren yang di masa awal hanya berpegang pada metode pendidikan klasik yang disebut sorogan (murid mengaji dihadapan guru), dan bandongan (guru membacakan kitab dihadapan para santri), saat ini mau beradaptasi dengan sistem pendidikan modern dalam bentuk Madrasah.

Abstract

The focus of this service activity is to provide religious material and use local potential to carry out programs that have been planned with the ALANG Community. PKM activities are carried out using a PAR approach with the hope of maximizing the program created. The PKM results state that ecological fiqh is the basis for community empowerment as an effort to strengthen the integration of cultural and religious values ​​in environmental management carried out by the community. This program also encourages the formation of networks and collaboration between the community, government and various related parties in managing disaster-prone areas. This synergy strengthens empowerment and disaster risk management efforts, as well as facilitating access to resources and information needed for sustainable regional development. This Community Service Program has had a significant impact in increasing the resilience, welfare and independence of the Kelud slope community, as well as preserving the environment and local wisdom.

Abstract

Teacher skills are essential in the learning process to prevent student boredom. To create effective and enjoyable high-quality learning, it is necessary to apply basic teaching skills. The instructional process will align with established goals if a teacher possesses a dynamic spirit, accountability, and discipline in facing various classroom challenges. This study aims to: 1) identify efforts to improve teachers' pedagogical competence regarding creativity in the teaching and learning process at Madrasah Diniyah Ihya’ Ulumuddin; and 2) identify teachers' social efforts in developing communication expertise during the teaching and learning process at Madrasah Diniyah Ihya’ Ulumuddin. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research method. The research was conducted at Madrasah Ihya’ Ulumuddin, located within the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, Lirboyo, Kediri, East Java. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested using the triangulation method. The results indicate that: 1) Teachers develop their creativity by implementing learning methods suited to student conditions, utilizing media to support the learning process, and sharing experiences with fellow teachers across various subjects. 2) At Madrasah Diniyah Ihya’ Ulumuddin, efforts have been made to establish open communication between teachers and students to identify obstacles and provide the best solutions. This approach helps students focus on the material presented, thereby improving the quality of learning. Based on the overall analysis, it can be concluded that there are ongoing efforts to enhance the pedagogical and social competencies of teachers at Madrasah Diniyah Ihya’ Ulumuddin, as evidenced by initiatives to improve creativity and communication skills. Consequently, it is expected that teacher professionalism will also increase
