Abstract

This study explores the implementation of bullying prevention assistance through an Islamic values approach in middle schools in Pace District, Nganjuk. Bullying remains a significant issue in educational settings, negatively impacting students’ psychological well-being and the overall school climate. The program integrates Islamic values such as compassion, tolerance, self-control, and respect into school activities, curriculum, and counseling services. Qualitative methods, including classroom observation, interviews with teachers, and curriculum analysis, were used to assess the effectiveness of this approach. The findings indicate that embedding Islamic values in daily school life enhances students’ empathy, self-control, and mutual respect, contributing to a more harmonious and inclusive environment. The study also highlights the importance of teacher training, collaborative efforts among stakeholders, and the development of anti-bullying policies rooted in religious and moral education. These results suggest that an Islamic values-based approach can serve as an effective model for bullying prevention in similar educational contexts.

Abstract

This community service program focused on the socialization and practical application of Islamic parenting in the digital era for parents of students at the Darussaadah Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Nganjuk. The initiative aimed to equip parents with knowledge and skills to address the challenges of raising children amidst rapid technological advancements and pervasive digital influences. Activities included interactive seminars, discussions, and hands-on workshops emphasizing the integration of Islamic values with effective digital-age parenting strategies. The results demonstrated increased parental awareness of the importance of monitoring children’s digital activities, fostering discipline, and instilling strong moral and religious foundations. Parents reported improved confidence in guiding their children to use technology responsibly while upholding Islamic principles. The program highlights the necessity of continuous education and collaboration between parents and educators to ensure children’s holistic development in the digital age. This approach serves as a model for strengthening family resilience and character education within Islamic communities.

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah menjadi isu yang semakin mendesak di berbagai daerah, termasuk di lingkungan Yayasan Madania Nganjuk. Dengan meningkatnya volume sampah yang dihasilkan, diperlukan pendekatan inovatif untuk mengelola limbah ini agar tidak hanya menjadi masalah lingkungan, tetapi juga menjadi peluang ekonomi. Salah satu solusi yang diusulkan adalah melalui konsep sedekah sampah yang berlandaskan pada prinsip-prinsip ekonomi syariah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sedekah sampah sebagai instrumen ekonomi syariah yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat sekitar yayasan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi pendampingan, edukasi, dan implementasi program sedekah sampah. Melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan, masyarakat diharapkan dapat memahami pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang berbasis pada nilai-nilai syariah. Hasil utama dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap masalah sampah, terciptanya nilai ekonomi dari sampah yang dikelola, serta dampak sosial yang positif bagi komunitas. Dengan demikian, sedekah sampah tidak hanya menjadi kegiatan filantropi, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen pemberdayaan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi sedekah sampah dapat berkontribusi signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan sosial, dengan menciptakan model pemberdayaan yang berkelanjutan. Kontribusi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi yayasan lain dan lembaga sosial dalam mengembangkan program serupa.
