Abstract

This community service program focused on the socialization and practical application of Islamic parenting in the digital era for parents of students at the Darussaadah Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Nganjuk. The initiative aimed to equip parents with knowledge and skills to address the challenges of raising children amidst rapid technological advancements and pervasive digital influences. Activities included interactive seminars, discussions, and hands-on workshops emphasizing the integration of Islamic values with effective digital-age parenting strategies. The results demonstrated increased parental awareness of the importance of monitoring children’s digital activities, fostering discipline, and instilling strong moral and religious foundations. Parents reported improved confidence in guiding their children to use technology responsibly while upholding Islamic principles. The program highlights the necessity of continuous education and collaboration between parents and educators to ensure children’s holistic development in the digital age. This approach serves as a model for strengthening family resilience and character education within Islamic communities.

Abstract

Workshop penggunaan aplikasi Marbel sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif untuk mengenalkan budaya Indonesia kepada anak usia dini merupakan inovasi penting dalam pendidikan anak. Aplikasi Marbel menyediakan konten yang menarik dan interaktif sehingga dapat memudahkan anak memahami nilai-nilai budaya secara menyenangkan dan efektif. Media pembelajaran interaktif seperti ini sangat relevan mengingat anak usia dini cenderung belajar melalui pengalaman langsung dan stimulasi visual serta audio yang menarik. Studi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media digital yang interaktif dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan pemahaman anak terhadap materi budaya dan kearifan lokal. Selain itu, pelibatan orang tua dan pendidik dalam penggunaan aplikasi ini dapat memperkuat proses pembelajaran dan memperluas pemahaman anak tentang budaya Indonesia secara holistik. Dengan demikian, aplikasi Marbel sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif di PAUD dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk menanamkan kecintaan dan pengetahuan budaya sejak dini.

Abstract

Character education is a fundamental aspect in shaping the personality of students, particularly in religious educational institutions such as Islamic schools (Madrasah Diniyah). However, the implementation of character education at Madrasah Diniyah Miftahul Khoirot Ketawang Gondang Nganjuk still faces various obstacles, including the suboptimal integration of character values ​​into the learning process, limited learning media, and the need to improve the competency of male and female teachers in systematically implementing character education strategies. This community service activity aims to strengthen the implementation of character education through a mentoring program for male and female teachers (madrasah), and students (santri) at Madrasah Diniyah Miftahul Khoirot Ketawang Gondang Nganjuk. The methods used include needs identification, outreach, training, implementation mentoring, and program evaluation. The mentoring material focuses on strengthening religious values, discipline, responsibility, honesty, cooperation, and social awareness through habituation, role modeling, and integration into learning and religious activities at the madrasah. Evaluation is conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation during the implementation of the activity. The results of the activity indicate an increase in the understanding and skills of the male and female teachers (ustadz and ustadzah) in integrating character education into the learning process. Furthermore, there was an increase in positive student behavior, demonstrated by increased discipline, responsibility in participating in learning activities, concern for others, and the inculcation of religious behavior in daily life. This mentoring program positively contributes to creating a character-based madrasah culture and supports the achievement of Islamic education goals, which are oriented towards developing individuals of faith, piety, and noble character.
