Abstract

This study examines the management of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) in fostering students' literacy interest at Al Ishom Jepara Middle School. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the GLS program is implemented in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage involves setting program objectives, assessing available resources, and forming a GLS team. The implementation stage consists of routine activities such as reading Asmaul Husna, library visits, and Quran recitation, followed by development activities like creating reading corners and wall magazines. The learning stage includes short story writing, Quran reading and writing (BTQ), and scientific extracurricular activities. The evaluation stage indicates that the program has been effective in enhancing students' reading and writing skills. The study concludes that a well-structured GLS program significantly contributes to literacy development. It is recommended that schools continuously optimize resources, encourage student participation, and integrate literacy programs into daily learning activities to sustain long-term literacy interest.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas dinamika transformasi pemikiran pendidikan Islam di Indonesia sejak era Orde Lama, Orde Baru, hingga era Reformasi, serta kontribusinya terhadap sistem pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi historis dan kepustakaan untuk menelusuri perkembangan konseptual, kelembagaan, dan kebijakan pendidikan Islam di berbagai periode sejarah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran pendidikan Islam mengalami perkembangan signifikan dari pendekatan tradisional berbasis pesantren menuju model yang lebih modern, inklusif, dan interdisipliner. Tokoh-tokoh seperti KH. Hasyim Asy’ari, KH. Ahmad Dahlan, Harun Nasution, dan Azyumardi Azra turut memberi kontribusi penting dalam merumuskan paradigma pendidikan Islam yang relevan dengan tantangan zaman. Kontribusi pendidikan Islam terhadap sistem pendidikan nasional tercermin dalam integrasi kurikulum, penguatan karakter keislaman, serta pembentukan lembaga pendidikan tinggi Islam. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti dikotomi ilmu, kesenjangan kualitas, dan kebutuhan pembaruan pedagogi masih menjadi isu yang harus diatasi. Artikel ini merekomendasikan perlunya pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang berkelanjutan dan kontekstual untuk memperkuat sistem pendidikan nasional yang berdaya saing dan berakar pada nilai-nilai keislaman.

Abstract

The importance of an educational institution to innovate education in developing the quality of education amidst the needs of society through research programs.The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with study. Data collection through access to the organization. observation, interview, and documentation. Testing the validity of data are triangulation. The data validation analysis techniques use in this research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based o the research result,  it may be concluded that (1) Research madrasah plan in developing the research culture, are regulation of determine the purposes for research programs, designing resources, strength and barriers analysis and creating research program, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages. (2) The research madrasah organization in developing the research culture, especially, establishment, design the team jobdesk. (3) The implementation of the research madrasah program in developing research culture. Consisted of socialization of the research program, the research course, which used the PJBL model, research tutoring, research supercamps, outing class, research training and MANSAKU Research science and social week (MSW). Those activities are reflected as the character of observed behavioral regularities. (4) The research madrasah supervision in developing research culture are consisted of determine of work standard, performance assessment and irregularities improvements formed in a creation.

Abstract

Stunting is a pressing public health issue in developing countries. This community service activity was conducted in Sitirejo Village, Blora Regency, Central Java Province. The program was carried out as part of the Integrated Community Service for Religious Moderation Competency (KKN-IKMB) with the theme "My Plate with Nutritious Food" to raise community awareness about stunting prevention. The activities were implemented through interactive community education, animated song and video screenings, simulations, and nutritious food processing using local resources. The program involved the village midwife, posyandu cadres, and local residents, and was held at the residence of a village official. The program was deemed effective in enhancing the community's understanding of balanced nutrition and the utilization of local potential. Educational media, such as songs and animated videos, successfully captured attention and improved participants' knowledge. Additionally, mothers, particularly those with young children, were able to understand and practice preparing nutritious meals to support optimal child development. The results indicate that community-based education integrated with advances in information technology can serve as an effective strategy to help reduce the prevalence of stunting at the village level. The utilization of local resources also presents opportunities for further development, ensuring that nutritional needs can be met more easily and affordably.
