Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya keterlibatan orang tua terhadap kemandirian siswa dalam pemilihan jurusan. Karena banyaknya siswa yang mengalami kesulitan seperti tidak dapat menentukan jurusan.Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasi. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 384 orang dan mengambil sampel 196 siswa. Ukuran penelitian adalah model skala Likert dan ukuran keterlibatan orang tua (0,766) dan kemandirian siswa dalam seleksi utama (0,777). Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi berganda.Hasil Penelitian: Berdasarkan analisis data maka diketahui bahwa keterlibatan orang tua sangat tinggi, hingga mencapai 85%. Selanjutnya, hasil analisi data kemandirian siswa dalam pemilihan jurusan dikategorikan mandiri (tinggi) dengan persentase 80%. Setelah dilakukan analisis regresi maka diketahui keterlibatan orang tua berkontribusi terhadap kemandirian siswa dalam pemilihan jurusan (20,7%).Kesimpulan: Dapat diartikan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua berkontribusi dalam memandirikan siswa menentukan pilihan jurusan yang akan dijalaninya.Implikasi: Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan atau pertimbangan bagi siswa, guru dan semua yang terlibat sebelum memutuskan pilihan jurusan yang dipilihnnya. Guru tidak hanya menyerahkan kepada siswa, guru bisa menyarankan kepada siswa untuk mendiskusikannya kepada orangtua.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the extent of peer interaction involvement in students' independence in choosing a major. Because many students experience difficulties such as not being able to determine their major. This research is quantitative research with descriptive correlation methods. The population of this research was 384 people and took a sample of 196 students. Based on the analysis, it is known that peer interaction is high, reaching 80%. Furthermore, the results of data analysis on student independence in choosing a major were categorized as independent (high) with a percentage of 80%. After conducting a regression analysis, it was discovered that peer interaction contributed to student independence in choosing a major (20.6%). It can be interpreted that peer interaction contributes to making students independent in determining the choice of major they will pursue. The results of this research can be a reference or consideration for students.

Abstract

This research was conducted as the students have different level of readiness to work. Career guidance and industrial work practice were assumed as the factors exerting influences upon the students’ readiness to work. This research was intended to describe: (1) career guidance, (2) industrial work practice, (3) the students’ readiness to work, (4) the contribution of career guidance toward the students’ readiness to work, (5) the contribution of industrial work practice toward the students’ readiness to work, and (6) the contribution of career guidance and industrial work practice simultaneously toward the students’ readiness to work. This correlational descriptive research applied quantitative method. The population of the research was 292 students in class XII of SMK Negeri 9 Padang. The sample was 169 students which was chosen by using proportional random sampling. To collect the data, Likert scale model was applied. The data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, simple and multiple regressions. The results of the research indicate that: (1) the average of the career guidance is in good category, (2) the average of the industrial work practice is in good category, (3) the students’ readiness to work is in very ready category, (4) career guidance significantly contributes to the students’ readiness to work, (5) industrial work practice significantly contributes to the students’ readiness to work, and (6) career guidance and industrial work practice simultaneously gives significant contribution to the students’ readiness to work.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Arabic language learning management based on counseling services at MTsN 6 Kerinci in the digital era. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants consisted of Arabic language teachers, school counselors, and students. The findings reveal that integrating counseling services into Arabic language learning management enhances students’ motivation, self-confidence, and active participation in the learning process. The use of digital technology, such as online learning applications and communication media, further strengthens the effectiveness of collaboration between teachers and counselors. Supporting factors include teachers’ commitment, institutional support, and student engagement, while challenges involve limited time for counseling services and uneven digital skills among educators. This study concludes that developing Arabic language learning management based on counseling services is relevant to the demands of the digital era and serves as an innovative strategy to improve the quality of language learning in Islamic junior high schools.
