Abstract

This research is motivated by poor supervision of learning and lack of work motivation of the principal as one of the factors causing low teacher performance, thus causing a decline in the quality of education. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of supervision of learning (X1) and work motivation of the principal (X2) on teacher performance (Y) of Vocational High School 2 Tahuna. This research was conducted at Vocational High School 2 Tahuna. This type of research uses a quantitative approach, using a descriptive study method, namely a method that is directed at solving problems by presenting or describing the results of the study as they are. The conclusions obtained from this study are: (1) Learning Supervision has a very large influence on Teacher Performance with a correlation index of 0.756. This shows that it is important for every teacher to understand learning supervision in teaching and learning activities at Vocational High School 2 Tahuna. (2) The work motivation of the principal has a positive influence on teaching and learning activities because in this study the correlation index of the principal's work motivation is 0.663. (3) Learning supervision and teacher work motivation have a very large influence on improving teacher performance at Vocational High School 2 Tahuna. This can be proven that through hypothesis testing it can be accepted. Through overall analysis and testing, the calculated F of 37.484 is obtained, which is greater than the F table of 3.30, which means that there is a significant influence between Learning Supervision and Principal's Work Motivation on Teacher Performance at Vocational High School 2 Tahuna, Sangihe Regency.

Abstract

LMS Affects Teaching Effectiveness: Depending on LMS Platforms, Lecturer Qualification, and Lecturer Age. The ability of lecturers to manage the LMS affects the effectiveness of their teaching. Each LMS platform has differences in the user interface and the available features. Educational qualifications and the age of lecturers affect the mastery of LMS applications. So, the type of LMS platform, educational qualifications, and age of the lecturers affect teaching effectiveness. Objective: This study aims to examine the effects and comparisons between the three groups. Methods: The comparison of the LMS platform group consists of Moodle and Google Classroom; the educational qualification group consists of master's and doctoral degrees; and the age group is ≤ 45 years and > 45 years. Findings: The analysis results with the three-way ANOVA found that the three groups had an interaction effect of 74% on the effectiveness of their teaching. Conclusion: LMS Moodle, doctoral educational qualifications, and younger lecturers (≤45 years) have a higher average of lecturer teaching effectiveness. Keywords: LMS, learning management system, lecturer qualification, lecturer age, teaching effectiveness.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v13.i2.202341

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) The influence of learning discipline on learning outcomes of State Vocational High School 3 Tahuna. (2) The influence of learning creativity on learning outcomes of students of State Vocational High School 3 Tahuna. (3) The influence of learning discipline and learning creativity simultaneously on learning outcomes of students of State Vocational High School 3 Tahuna. This study was conducted at State Vocational High School 3 Tahuna. The design of this study is quantitative research with a correlational research approach, using simple regression analysis and multiple regression. From the results of the study: 1) there is a significant influence between learning discipline on student learning outcomes, contributing 34.40%; 2) there is a significant influence between learning creativity on student learning outcomes, contributing 21.60%; 3) there is a significant influence between work discipline and learning creativity simultaneously with student learning outcomes, contributing 37.50%. Thus, increasing learning discipline and competent learning creativity will have the form of discipline in going to school; discipline in following lessons at school; discipline in doing assignments; discipline in studying at home; Discipline in adhering to school rules; curiosity, imagination, originality in expressing ideas, the ability to see problems from various perspectives; and a courageous attitude to take risks will improve learning outcomes in terms of changes in attitudes, morals, and intelligence. With a conducive learning discipline and creativity, it is hoped that it will provide maximum learning outcomes for students. In other words, high levels of learning discipline and creativity will foster good and high student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Students Teams Achievement Division) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Gambar Teknik, pada peserta didik kelas X Jurusan DPIB di SMK Negeri 1 Tomohon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pra ekseperimen (Pre Eksperimental Designs) dengan jenis one group pre test and post test design deskriptif kuantitatif. Mengingat data yang dianalisis bersifat kuantitatif, maka peneliti menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan uji tingkat kesukaran. Uji normalitas menggunakan rumus Liliefors dan uji homogenitas menggunakan rumus F. Sedangkan uji hipotesisnya menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh 7,6017 dan t table 1,734 dengan taraf sig 5%. Melalui kriteria uji jika thitung > ttabel maka H1 diterima. 7,6017 > 1,734, jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar pada pokok bahasan Gambar Teknik, pada peserta didik kelas X Jurusan DPIB di SMK Negeri 1 Tomohon.
