This research examines the learning model used by Jesus when preaching or teaching specifically found in Matthew 7: 24-29. There are several methods that Jesus uses in this section, namely: the lecture method, the method of storytelling and the method of parable. These methods were quite successful in Jesus' teaching as evidenced by the large number of followers who were amazed at him. In this study, we want to find out how the influence of the application of the method Jesus used on student learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with survey techniques. The research population was all of the ninth grade students in SMP Negeri 12 Kota Kupang with a total sample of 30 students. Data analysis was performed using statistical techniques with data analysis processes namely Descriptive Analysis, Test Requirements Analysis and Hypothesis Test. The results showed that the application of the Learning Method used by Jesus in Matthew 7: 24-29 had an effect on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 12 Kota Kupang by 40%.

Abstract. Pentecostal churches are known to put more emphasis on the spiritual aspect of their teaching than on the social aspect. The social activities carried out are also more widely understood as a means to win souls. This paper aimed to recollect the awareness of the Pentecostal spirit that cannot be separated from social solidarity. The method used in this study was an interpretive descriptive method on Acts 2:41-47. Through this study, it could be concluded that social solidarity is not a strategy to win souls, but is an inherent essence of a congregation filled with the Holy Spirit.Gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta dikenal lebih banyak memberikan penekanan pada aspek rohani dalam pengajarannya dibandingkan terhadap aspek sosial. Kegiatan sosial yang dilakukan juga lebih banyak dipahami sebagai sarana untuk memenangkan jiwa. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengingatkan kesadaran akan roh Pentakosta yang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari solidaritas sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah metode deskriptif interpretatif terhadap teks Kisah Para Rasul 2:41-47. Melalui kajian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa solidaritas sosial bukanlah suatu strategi untuk memenangkan jiwa, namun adalah hakikat yang sifatnya inheren dalam diri jemaat yang dipenuhi oleh Roh Kudus.

The Meaning of Ancestral Land For Naomi Based on Ruth 1: 1-22. The story of Naomi in Ruth 1: 1-22 is closely related to her ancestral land in Bethlehem-Judah. In Ruth 1: 1-3, Naomi is told to make a choice to leave her ancestral land. But Ruth 1: 6 explains that Naomi finally chose to return to her ancestral lands in Bethlehem-Judah after experiencing various suffering and tragedies in the land of Moab. Naomi's choice implied Naomi's perception of the economic, cultural, political and religious meaning of her ancestral land. Based on Ruth 1: 6-19-22, Naomi continues to acknowledge her ancestral land as the "mother" who gave birth to her, always faithfully welcomes her return, treats all the pain of her life; and even guarantee the prosperity of his life, the place that guarantees the rights of life and the social as a widow, and a safe place to worship faithfully to Allah the giver and the owner of his ancestral land. Makna Tanah Leluhur Bagi Naomi Berdasarkan Rut 1:1-22. Kisah Naomi dalam Rut 1:1-22 berkaitan erat dengan tanah leluhurnya di Betlehem-Yehuda. Dalam Rut 1:1-3, Naomi dikisahkan membuat pilihan untuk meninggalkan tanah leluhurnya. Namun Rut 1:6 menjelaskan bahwa Naomi akhirnya memilih untuk kembali ke tanah leluhurnya di Betlehem-Yehuda setelah mengalami berbagai penderitan dan tragedi di Moab tanah rantau. Pilihan Naomi tersebut tersirat persepsi Naomi tentang makna ekonomis, budaya, politis dan religious dari tanah leluhurnya. Berdasarkan Rut 1:6-19-22, Naomi tetap mengakui tanah leluhur nya sebaga “ibu” yang telah melahirkannya, selalu setia menyambut kepulangannya, mengobati semua kepedihan hidupnya; dan bahkan menjamin kesejahtraan hidupnya, tempat paling menjamin hak-hak hidup dan sosial sebagai seorang janda, dan tempat yang aman untuk beribadah dengan setia kepada Allah sang pemberi dan pemilik tanah leluhurnya.

Discussions on theology of suffering are very often discussed lately with the co-19 pandemic. There are a variety of different views that emerge to address the problem of suffering and disaster. This study aims to find out one view of suffering, that is, from the evangelicals. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using the literature as a source of data. From the results of the study the authors found that the evangelical view of suffering is that they consider suffering and disaster to be the will and sovereignty of God. In the suffering experienced by His people, God still shows His care. Evangelical groups also often associate disaster and suffering with eschatology. Pembahasan mengenai teologi penderitaan sangat sering dibicarakan diakhir-akhir ini secara khusus dengan adanya pandemi covid-19. Ada berbagai pandangan berbeda yang muncul menyikapi masalah penderitaan dan bencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu salah satu pandangan mengenai penderitaan yaitu dari kaum Injili. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan literatur sebagai sumber datanya. Dari hasil penelitian penulis menemukan bahwa pandangan kaum injili mengenai penderitaan adalah mereka menganggap penderitaan dan bencana merupakan kehendak dan kedaulatan Allah. Di dalam penderitaan yang dialami umat-Nya, Allah tetap menunjukkan pemeliharaan-Nya. Kelompok Injili juga sering mengaitkan bencana dan penderitaan dengan akhir saman.

One of the factors that support the success of learning in the classroom is the use of learning models. Among the many learning models, there is an inquiry learning model. In practice, schools that use this method correctly benefit from increasing student academic achievement. The inquiry learning model is directly related to cognitive theory. In fact, the use of this learning model is not entirely successful. This study aims to find out the reasons why the use of inquiry learning learning models have not been able to improve student achievement in Christian Religious Education subjects and how to use inquiry learning models in Christian Religious Education subjects for class VIII SMPN 2 Makale. In this study, the authors used qualitative research with descriptive methods, namely describing or explaining the results of research in clear and detailed words based on qualitative data. The results showed that the reason the use of the inquiry learning learning model had not improved the learning achievement of Christian Religious Education at SMPN 2 Makale was because it was difficult for Christian religious teachers to apply the use of learning models, the use of facilities and infrastructure was not optimal, students were less proactive in inquiry learning, and the lack of time allocation in learning. Salah satu faktor yang menunjang keberhasilan pembelajaran di kelas adalah menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Di antara sekian banyak model pembelajaran terdapat model pembelajaran inquiry learning. Di sekolah-sekolah pada umumnya yang menggunakan metode inquiry learning dengan maksimal akan berdampak pada prestasi akademik siswa. Model inquiry learning berkaitan langsung dengan teori kognitif. Pada kenyataannya penggunaan Model pembelajaran ini tidak sepenuhnya berhasil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan alasan penggunaan model pembelajaran inquiry learning belum bisa meningkatkan prestasi siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan bagaimana penggunaan model pembelajaran inquiry learning pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen kelas VIII SMPN 2 Makale. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yaitu menggambarkan atau memaparkan hasil penelitian dengan kata-kata yang jelas dan terinci berdasarkan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alasan penggunaan model pembelajaran inquiry learning belum meningkatkan prestasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen di SMPN 2 Makale adalah karena guru agama Kristen sulit menerapkan penggunaan model pembelajaran, penggunaan sarana dan prasarana tidak maksimal, peserta didik kurang proaktif dalam pembelajaran inquiry learning, dan kurangnya alokasi waktu dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu pihak sekolah perlu memberi perhatian khusus dan memfasilitasi penerapan Model inquiry learning.

Abstract: Tolerance as a value is manifested in the life behavior of a group of people. The aim of this study is to analyze and describe tolerance studies based on the folklore of the people of Rote in East Nusa Tenggara. As research conducted by Rantesalu and Iswanto (2018), defines tolerance values based on the stories of the people of the Toraja community, namely the value of acceptability and understanding combined with togetherness and complementary. Another empirical paradigm was obtained from Hofner (2018) which explains the tolerance is influenced by social and political contexts. This research is focused on the specificity of the perception of tolerance that is formed from values based on folklore data. The method used is descriptive qualitative method and enriched with Ricour hermeneutic method in text analysis. The data obtained in the form of a folklore titled Landu, which tells the history of the formation of the Landu community on the island of Rote. The Landu Kingdom is one of the 19 kingdoms on Rote Island in the 14th century. Based on the data obtained the results of research on tolerance values contained in CRMR Landu are (1) This acceptability and understanding as a base the basis of tolerance is explained by the verb diadik loke // hule 'beri // kasih' and (2) the value of brotherhood based on the form of diadik dalek // teik 'rasa // inner', inak // touk 'father // mother '.Keywords: Tolerance, Text, Value Abstrak: Toleransi sebagai sebuah nilai diwujudkan dalam perilaku kehidupan suatu kelompok masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah meganalisa dan mendeskripsikan kajian toleransi berdasarkan cerita rakyat masyarakat Rote di Nusa Tenggara Timur. Sebagaimana penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Rantesalu dan Iswanto (2018), mendefinisikan nilai toleransi berdasarkan ceritera rakyat masyarakat Toraja yang di dalamnya terdapat internalisasi nilai keberterimaan dan kesepahaman (acceptability and understanding). Selanjutnya, nilai-nilai tersebut disejajarkan dengan kebersamaan (togetherness) dan saling melengkapi (complementary). Paradigma empiris lainnya diperoleh dari Hofner (2018) yang menjelaskan toleransi yang ditimbulkan dari konteks politik di Indonesia. Penelitian ini lebih difukuskan pada kekhasan persepsi toleransi yang terbentuk dari nilai berdasarkan data cerita rakyat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang diperkaya dengan metode hermeneutik Ricour dalam analisa teks. Data yang diperoleh berupa cerita rakyat berjudul Landu, yang menceritakan sejarah terbentuknya masyarakat Landu di pulau Rote. Kerajaan Landu adalah salah satu kerajaan dari 19 kerajaan di Pulau Rote pada abad ke-14. Berdasarkan data diperoleh hasil penelitian nilai toleransi yang terdapat dalam CRMR Landu adalah (1) Nilai keberterimaan dan kesepahaman (acceptability and understanding) ini sebagai alas dasar toleransi dijelaskan berdasarkan verba diadik loke//hule ‘beri//kasih’ dan (2) nilai persaudaraan (brotherhood) yang berdasarkan pada bentuk diadik dalek//teik ‘rasa//batin’, inak//touk ‘ayah//ibu’. The purpose of this research is to identify the challenges faced in the implementation of missions in Indonesia and the appropriate strategies used in the implementation of missions. The method used is descriptive qualitative with reference sources from books and the latest studies on missions through journals. The results showed that the implementation of missions in Indonesia experienced many challenges such as a very strong cultural problem in the lives of recipients, very diverse language problems and responses from adherents of other religions who had negative views on the implementation of Christian missions. In order to keep the mission going, it needs the right strategy and continue to take advantage of every opportunity available and maximize the available facilities. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi dalam rangka pelaksanaan misi di Indonesia dan strategi yang tepat digunakan dalam pelaksanaan misi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber referensi dari buku-buku dan kajian terbaru tentang misi melalui jurnal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan misi di Indonesia memiliki banyak tantangan seperti persoalan budaya yang sangat kuat dalam kehidupan penerima, persoalan bahasa yang sangat beragam dan respon dari pemeluk agama lain yang memiliki pandangan negatif terhadap pelaksanaan misi Kristen. Agar misi tetap berjalan maka dibutuhkan strategi yang tepat dan terus memanfaatkan setiap peluang yang ada dan memaksimalkan fasilitas yang tersedia.

This research aims to find the influence of applying cooperative learning jigsaw type to improve the learning outcomes of the 6th semester students in the course of History of Christian Religious Education at STAKN Kupang in 2017. Quantitative research methods with the quasi experiment nonequeivalent control group design approach was used as a research method. The experimental study involved two groups of students, the experimental group and the control group, each of which was given pre-test and post-test. The target population of 62 students was divided into two different groups. Each consisted of 32 students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning jigsaw type was able to improve students’ learning outcomes at 30.625 or 30.6 persen with significance value on the sig. value (2-tailed) by 0.000 <0.05 or there is a significant increase. The average value of students’ learning outcomes using cooperative learning model with jigsaw approach is greater than 8.586 with significance value at sig. value (2-tailed) of 0.003 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the value of learning outcomes compared to that of students using only conventional methods such as lectures

The author does the learning process by using the quantum teaching method. This study departs from the writer's anxiety about the condition of student mastery of the material being studied. Inadequate campus facilities and lack of student interest in learning. As a result, students can not fulfill the assignments that have been given. Another issue that makes writers work hard is the average student from a remote area, where the learning process using information technology is still far from their reach. So the authors apply one of the learning processes using quantum teaching. The researcher examines the learning process using classroom action research. Based on the study conducted by the author in this paper, there are two important things that need to be learned, namely being able to do something, and be able to think for doing something. Teaching is a very important task in this world. Teachers should be able to influence human behavior from generation to generation. This is evident from the activities of the students in applying learning outcomes in class. Therefore, this paper contributes to a good learning process.
