The main objective of this study is to use a good method to control the robot that capable of detecting the presence of light and avoiding obstacles in front of the robot without hitting the obstacles that may obstruct it. Legged robot uses sensors to detect the presence of photodioda the firelight and ultrasonic sensors (PINGTM) is to detect the presence or absence of obstacles so that legged robots are able to walk without bumping into obstacles that may obstruct it. A servo motor was used for driving the wheel of the feet. In this research, legged robots have been able to go scour the walls and extinguish the fire.

The bustle and activity of our daily erratic make us do not know when it comes to the house, where the lights are supposed to be lit. But it was not turned on because no one was home. This certainly makes us into a panic and anxiety, because it will not start from where we are. Another example is in the office, on the road, and anywhere at the time the house empty or unoccupied. From some of the problems mentioned above, the study sought to realize one of the benefits of the existing mobile phone. Utilization of it is to create a tool that can activate the light there at home by using a mobile phone channels. The system is able to turn on or turn off the lights even though the house empty or unoccupied by long distance. With this system we are and at anytime can menggendalikan home appliances remotely.

In large multi-story buildings stairs to connect one floor with another floor. Itulization of stairs may not be efficient, as many technological advancement created lift for high rise buildings. An elevator being electronically controlled may be used to connects all floors within the building. in roder to be able to function as intended. The elevator control system prototype being produced uses a microcontroller as a controller. The microcontroller being used is the ATmega16 type. Actuator is used as a DC motor drive rotating at 300 rpm to produce a stable rotation and meet the quite large torque. This system uses a queue keystrokes. The system has functioned well and can work as expected. Lift can work in accordance with keystrokes outside and inside the elevator.

Energy dissipation is very disturbing for a countrys survival, including Indonesia. Power dissipation generally occurs because of the lifestyle of people who tend consumptive Indonesia. One example of energy waste in the household is often forgot to turn off the television. The timer on the television was made in order to be able to set how long the TV will die (off) by itself in accordance with a prearranged time. However, not everyone can or know of this timer function, especially those who have elderly. Many cases of elderly people see television to fall asleep without turning it off. In this case certainly happens waste of electricity. In this study will be designing and manufacturing tools that can be used as a detector of movement of people in front of the television, so television is only lights up if there is a movement of people who watch television. From the results of this research tool is able to detect the movement of people in front of the television, with the effective distance of the tool is 2 meters.

Rolling blackouts or blackouts caused by technical errors making people uncomfortable, one of those affected are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), due to power outages in various regions in Indonesia made a number of MSMEs to be losers. In addition to the problems faced by MSMEs is the occurrence of the peak load at night cause they can not work in the evenings (overtime). For that alternative energy is necessary for the SMEs in order to work, when electricity from PLN is susceptible to interference (fault) or in the repair process. With the considerations above, this study attempted to apply the technology Solarcell Home System (SHS) to be implemented as an energy reserve and secondary in the industrial sector, particularly in the MSMEs. The results showed that the use of technology can enhance business transformation solarcell through speed, and accuracy in producing goods. The SME entrepreneurs can increase production by using solarcell home system.

The reseacrh on fabrication of porous aluminum using powder metallurgy technique with amonium hidrogen karbonat as space holder has been carried out. The space holder powder with various space holder mass fraction of 20%,30%, 40% and 50% in 5 gram of total mass and the aluminum powder were put into a can for mixing process. Afterward the mixed powder was compacted at 300 kg/cm2 to obtain the green body. Density of the green body was then determined by measuring its dimension and the mass. Following this, the green body was put in a furnace and heated up to 200oC with holding time of 60 minutes for space holder removal. The second heating up was carried out up to 650oC with holding time of 60 minutes for sintering process and the furnace was then switched off for cooling. Porosity of the sintered porous aluminum was calculated and its microstructure was examined using an optical microscop. The compressive strength of the porous material was evaluated using universal testing machine. The result show that the porosity increases with an increase of the mass fraction in the range of 56-74% with the compressive strength in opposite way. The strength was found in the range of 1.2-15.7 MPa. All specimens show a typical britlle materials.

Tolerance is described as a concept of cultural phenomena that are integrated through religious life. Conflict as an internal problem while the challenges of the times (globalization) are goals that must be answered through a spirit of tolerance. The concept that will be analyzed is based on folklore tallu to sala 'dadi in Toraja. This study intends to examine the structure of the tallu to sala 'dadi story, and the tolerance value contained in the story. The theory used in this study is the semiotic social theory. While the method used is a qualitative method of content analysis and hermeneutic methods. As a result, data was obtained that the story was of a novel type, which revealed the struggles of human life in living everyday life. The values of tolerance contained include the value of acceptability and understanding that are paired with togetherness and complementarity. Based on these findings, it can be defined that tolerance is the attitude of accepting and understanding shortcomings and differences through togetherness and complementarity. AbstrakToleransi dideskripsikan sebagai konsep fenomena budaya yang terintegriasi melalui kehidupan beragama. Konflik sebagai masalah internal sedangkan tantangan jaman (globalisasi) merupakan tujuan yang harus dijawab melalui semangat toleransi. Konsep itulah yang akan dianalisa berdasarkan cerita rakyat tallu to sala’ dadi di Toraja. Penelitian ini bermaksud mengkaji struktur ceritera tallu to sala’ dadi, dan nilai toleransi yang terkandung dalam ceritera tersebut. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah teori semiotik sosial. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif analisis kontent serta metode hermeneutik. Hasilnya, diperoleh data bahwa cerita tersebut berjenis novel, yang mengungkapkan pergumulan hidup manusia dalam menjalani hidup sehari-hari. Adapun nilai-nilai toleransi yang terkandung meliputi nilai keberterimaan dan kesepahaman yang dipadankan dengan kebersamaan dan saling melengkapi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut dapat di definisikan bahwa toleransi adalah sikap menerima dan memahami kekurangan dan perbedaan melalui kebersamaan dan sikap saling melengkapi.

Sistem akuisisi data suhu menjadi satu hal yang sangat penting dalam kegiatan perindustrian, karena merupakan sebagian kecil dari sebuah proses kontrol. Berkenaan dengan pentingnya sistem, maka dilakukan perancangan sistem akusisi data suhu yang mampu melakukan kegiatan monitoring suhu suatu plant. Untuk dapat merancang sistem maka pertama kali dilakukan proses mengubah suhu menjadi tegangan analog menggunakan sensor suhu LM35. Setelah melalui proses pengkondisian sinyal tegangan analog diubah menjadi data digital menggunakan ADC. Data digital yang diperoleh kemudian diolah oleh Mikrokontroller ATmega8535 dan ditampilkan, sehingga didapatkan suatu informasi mengenai suhu plant dengan satuan ºC pada sebuah LCD dan PC. Dari perancangan sistem akuisisi data suhu didapatkan hasil bahwa sistem ini memiliki kemampuan untuk mengukur suhu dari 20ºC sampai 80ºC dengan error rata-rata penunjukan suhu sebesar 0,1. dan tingkat keberhasilan 99 %.

This work presented the gain scheduling based LQR for Quadrotor systems. From the original nonlinear model, the system is always controllable and observable in various equilibrium points. Moreover, the linearized systems have a unique property that is known as sparse system. Hence, in order to implement the most efficient state feedback controller, post-filter and pre-filter were introduced to transform the state coordinate to decrease coupling between states. Finally, the gain scheduling systems using these facts was proposed. The system behavior was tested using the proposed controller. The numerical studies showed the effectiveness of the controller to achieve desired altitude, attitude, and its ability during the disturbance

Hypertension is a major health problem in Indonesia. Prevention can be applied through health promotion and modification of a healthy lifestyle. The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of SMS (Short Message Service) Gateway to dietary compliance and awareness of hypertensive patients. The research design was pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted at Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City. The sampling technique was accidental sampling with a total sample of 30 hypertensive patients. The intervention was conducted for 30 days by sending SMS twice a day. The results of the study showed an average awareness score of 7.3 pre-test and 10.1 post-test. The average dietary compliance score was 21.2 pre-test and 31.3 post-test. Wilcoxon test showed there was an effect of SMS Gateway to awareness and dietary compliance in hypertensive patients (p-value = 0.000). This study concludes that there is an effect of nutritional messages through SMS media to awareness and dietary compliance in hypertensive patients.
