Abstract

This research describes the analysis of the integration of Islamic education at Mabna Ar Razi: Seyyed Hossein Nasr's perspective, how education is implemented at Mabna Ar-Razi, and what the mahasantri's perspective is regarding education implemented at Mabna Ar-Razi. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, a case study type. The subject of this research is mahasantri mabna Ar-Razi. Data collection techniques used educational observations at Mabna Ar-Razi, and interviews with Mahasantri and Musyrif Mabna. Apart from that, it also documents the schedule of activities at Mabna Ar-Razi. Data analysis uses the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The results of this research are (1) the implementation of education at Mabna Ar-Razi combines intellectual and religious intelligence and character education. (2) Students' perspectives on education at Mabna Ar-Razi show a positive response, where they feel that education at Mabna provides a deep understanding of Islamic values ​​and helps them apply these teachings in their daily lives.

Abstract

Social media has become an important tool for disseminating Arabic educational content, but effective content management strategies on platforms such as Instagram have rarely been studied in depth. This study aims to analyze Arabic content management on the Instagram account @santri_pedia.id using Regina Luttrell's The Circular Model of Social Media Engagement (SOME), which includes the stages of Share, Optimize, Manage, and Engage. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subject is the @santri_pedia.id account and its management team. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation of account activities, and content documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, focusing on the four main aspects of the SOME model. The results of the study indicate that @santri_pedia.id has implemented most of the SOME principles, particularly in the Share aspect through the adaptation of course materials and Engage through active interactions such as quizzes and polls. Optimization is carried out through insight analysis and community collaboration, but the use of hashtags and content scheduling still needs improvement. Content management is done manually without a structured editorial system, although the division of team roles is clear.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a medium for Arabic translation on students' critical thinking skills. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 31 7th-semester students in the 2024/2025 academic year. The results showed that the majority of students have a positive perception of the use of AI, with 48.4% agreeing and 29% strongly agreeing that AI is effective in supporting the translation process. In addition, 25.8% of respondents strongly agreed that AI helped them understand Arabic texts, while 45.2% felt that AI encouraged in-depth analysis of text structures. In the evaluation aspect, 38.7% of students felt that they were able to judge the quality of AI-generated translations. The study also found that AI contributed to the development of students' creative thinking skills, with 67.7% of respondents finding it helpful in developing new ideas in Arabic writing. Overall, these results show that AI not only improves translation efficiency but also plays an important role in developing students' critical thinking skills, although there are still challenges that need to be overcome to maximize its utilization.

Abstract

This research investigates how studying the Jurumiyah book (turats) influences students' comprehension of Arabic grammar and their educational results at MAN 3 Jombang. The investigation is founded on the belief that learning Arabic via traditional Islamic literature in Islamic boarding schools can enhance students' performance in formal educational settings. A mixed-methods strategy was utilized for this study, integrating both qualitative and quantitative data. Information was gathered through classroom observations, interviews, surveys, and examination of students' academic records. The quantitative data were analyzed by applying descriptive statistics and simple linear regression to explore the connection between the use of the Jurumiyah book and student performance, while qualitative data aided in interpreting the results. The findings reveal that employing the Jurumiyah book positively influences students’ academic achievements. Learners who engage with Arabic through this traditional text show a stronger grasp of Arabic grammar and typically attain high levels of academic success. These outcomes imply that incorporating turats-centered learning in Islamic boarding schools can enhance students' achievements in formal madrasah education. This research adds to the dialogue surrounding Arabic language instruction by emphasizing the importance of classical Islamic texts as a valuable supplementary educational tool for enhancing students' grammatical skills and academic success.تبحث هذه الدراسة في تأثير دراسة كتاب الجروميات على فهم الطلاب لقواعد اللغة العربية ونتائجهم الدراسية في المدرسة العالية الإسلامية 3 جومبانج. وتستند الدراسة إلى الاعتقاد بأن تعلم اللغة العربية من خلال الأدب الإسلامي التقليدي في المعهد يُحسّن أداء الطلاب في البيئات التعليمية الرسمية. وقد استُخدم في هذه الدراسة منهج بحثي مختلط، يجمع بين البيانات النوعية والكمية. جُمعت المعلومات من خلال الملاحظات الصفية، والمقابلات، والاستبيانات، وفحص السجلات الأكاديمية للطلاب. حُللت البيانات الكمية باستخدام الإحصاء الوصفي والانحدار الخطي البسيط لاستكشاف العلاقة بين استخدام كتاب الجروميات وأداء الطلاب، بينما ساعدت البيانات النوعية في تفسير النتائج. وتُظهر النتائج أن استخدام كتاب الجروميات يُؤثر إيجابًا على التحصيل الدراسي للطلاب. فالمتعلمون الذين يتفاعلون مع اللغة العربية من خلال هذا النص التقليدي يُظهرون فهمًا أعمق لقواعد اللغة العربية، ويحققون عادةً مستويات عالية من النجاح الأكاديمي. تشير هذه النتائج إلى أن دمج المناهج الدراسية القائمة على التوراة في المعهد يُمكن أن يُحسّن تحصيل الطلاب في التعليم النظامي بالمدارس الدينية. يُضيف هذا البحث إلى الحوار الدائر حول تدريس اللغة العربية من خلال التأكيد على أهمية النصوص الإسلامية الكلاسيكية كأداة تعليمية تكميلية قيّمة لتعزيز مهارات الطلاب النحوية ونجاحهم الأكاديمي.
