Abstract

The construction of the Makassar-Parepare railroad line that crosses Pangkep district which intersects with the Segeri river is at an altitude of +10,229 m. The Segeri River is in the Pangkajene Watershed area with the Segeri Sub-watershed which has an area of 96,011 Km2. Segeri river flood discharge was calculated using the Nakayashu method with discharge values with return periods of 2,5,10,25 and 50 years of 102.27 m3/second, 125.99 m3/second, 146.06 m3/second,176.89 m3/second and 204.28 m3/second. The flood water level of the Segeri river at discharge with a 50year return period is at an elevation of +3.07 m, so that the flood water level of the Segeri river is below the railroad elevation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the distribution of flow velocity and analyze differences in flow velocity in the rectangular and trapezoidal channels in the Bantimurung main channel, Maros Regency. The research method used is starting from making observations in the field related to the selection of research sites and then collecting data at the selected locations in the field with each sample in each channel. Furthermore, case studies or literature studies from various literature books related to the distribution of flow velocity, and analyzing the comparison of flow rates and how to calculate flow rate. Based on this research, it is obtained that the flow velocity distribution on the trapezoidal channel section and the rectangular channel section shows a large flow velocity value in the center of the channel and decreases when approaching the channel edge. Channel discharge Q in the same channel flow with a different channel cross section, is influenced by the value of the hydraulic radius ( R ) which is different depending on the shape of the channel

Abstract

This study aims to obtain: (1) the weight of the Batu Bassi Weir component which can be obtained as an indicator of the performance of the weir based on the condition and function of the building., (2) Analyzing the performance of the Batu Bassi Weir based on the condition and function of the building.This study took place at Batu Bassi Dam, located in Jene Taesa Village, Simbang District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The data collection technique was carried out by direct observation in the field which then processed the data. From the results of data processing, the condition and function of the Bassi Weir were analyzed and interpreted. Data Analysis Using the ePAKSI Application Method (electronic Asset Management and Irrigation System Performance)..Results Analysis of the analyzed data by weighting using the Epaksi application to determine the relationship between the components of the dam performance. As for the results, the weighting is carried out using the Epaksi application to determine the relationship between the components of the performance of the weir. The results of the weighting of the dam performance components are as follows: 74% crest weight, 42% weir wing weight, 73% weir floor (dwelling pool), 70% embankment, 70% service bridge, 30% operating board, 70% ruler, safety fence 70%, 82% Drain Door, and 82% Intake Door. The condition of the Batu Bassi Weir Performance component is that the components in the Bassi Stone Weir are damaged by 25.08% and the condition of the weir is moderately damaged. The function of the component performance on the Bassi Stone Weir is 74.92% and requires extensive (quite large) maintenance.

Abstract

Provide information on the results of scientific studies on how to improve community welfare by analyzing the Water Needs of semi-technical irrigation networks.The focus of this research is located in Biangkeke, Pajukukang District, Bantaeng Regency. The data needed in the form of secondary data includes land use maps in Bantaeng Regency, RainFall Data, Bantaeng Regency Rain and Bantaeng Regency Climatology Data. The results of the planning analysis obtained a large level of water availability in the Biangkeke irrigation area of 524.36 m3 / second, where in the first period of rice planting was 236.82 m3 / second and for the availability of water in the second period it was 172.63 m3 / second, while in the third period it was 70.90 m3 / second and for the harvest period the available discharge was 44 m3 / second

Abstract

een changed to new buildings and settlements, resulting in a decrease in water catchment areas. Rainwater that cannot seep directly into the soil will result in inundation. If the inundation is not overcome, it will trigger flooding, so a rain catchment area is needed. This research is a study that presents field survey data aimed at planning water catchment buildings and clean water treatment plants at the Bosowa University Campus in Makassar. The area of rainwater catchment is 0.4477 ha and the rainfall intensity is 39.613, hence the rainwater discharge of 0.0469 m3 / second. From the results of data analysis, a rainwater harvesting system can be planned to be accommodated using a reservoir. The reservoir is planned from the results of data analysis of clean water needs at the Bosowa University Campus.

Abstract

The importance of housing control in housing cannot be ignored. Inundation in housing can cause various problems such as infrastructure damage, poor environmental sanitation, and health problems. Therefore, inundation control is very important. One method that can be used to control deposition is to use infiltration wells. Infiltration wells are an effective way to overcome the problem of stagnant water in the train area. The aim of this study was to analyze infiltration wells as structural controllers at Sompu Raya Housing, Kallabirang Village, Takalar Regency. This research was conducted using a field survey and literature study method. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of this study indicate that 189 units of infiltration wells are needed to overcome inundation with 100% efficiency of air seeping into the ground with a duration of 1 hour, while the efficiency of infiltration wells by applying it to each house is 83.95%.

Abstract

Water is a very important need for life in bum, especially living makhuk such as humans, plants, animals and others. In this case, the fulfillment of clean water to be consumed, both for drinking water and for other needs can be done in various ways, adjusted to existing facilities and infrastructure. This is related to the amount of water loss in the irrigation network caused by evaporation, water intake for other purposes, or leakage along the channel. Based on irrigation planning criteria, the amount of water loss in the irrigation network can be minimized by improving the water management system and improving the physical irrigation infrastructure. So the Bialo secondary channel has an efficiency level of 58% which is still in the good category or still works well to drain water into the tertiary channel. This level of efficiency is supported by the physical building of the bialo secondary canal irrigation which is still in good condition and the Bialo secondary channel although the physical condition of the building is still good, it still experiences water loss caused by evaporation loss and seepage which causes water loss of 0.1368 m3/s. Despite experiencing water loss but still has a level of efficiency that is still in good condition.

Abstract

Transportation is a problem that has an important influence in people's lives. The problem that occurs in transportation in the Makassar-Parepare crossing is the increasing population growth along with the increasing number of users of land transportation modes that are not proportional to public awareness to switch to using public transportation. One of the government's efforts to overcome these problems is the development of rail-based land transportation modes. This research aims to find out the problems that occur in Barru Regency, the factors that cause and the reasons for choosing the train transportation mode and analyze the impact of the construction of the Makassar-Parepare Railway line in Barru Regency. This research uses a qualitative method with a study of relevant literature regarding the impact of the construction of the Makassar-Parepere railway line which is then used as a question on the questionnaire and distributed to the community in the surrounding location, then analyzed using the help of Statistical Package for The Social Sciences software. The results of the study obtained the impact during the implementation of the construction of the railway line on the environment resulted in flooding, economic conditions resulted in decreased agricultural land production, social conditions made residents feel uncomfortable. The impact after the operation of the railway line felt by residents for environmental conditions is reduced congestion, economic conditions reduce local labor, and social conditions many resident roads access is covered by the railway body which makes communication between residents disrupted.

Abstract

A weir is a water structure with equipment built across a river. Weirs are designed to meet stability requirements, to guarantee the service life of the weir and its ability to raise the water level. Weir stability consists of stability against overturning, stability against soil bearing capacity, stability against shear forces, and eccentricity of loading. The problem formulation is the security value of the stability of the Kalukku Bnedung under normal conditions and river flooding. The aim of this research is an analytical study of the safety value of the Kalukku Dam under normal conditions and river flooding. The research method uses a survei method through literature study, collecting primary data, secondary data, rainfall analysis, and measuring weir stability. The dimensions of the Kalukku weir are 105 meters wide and the overall width of the weir is 111 meters. The research results show that stability against overturning (sf = 4.20 > 1.5) is safe, stability against sliding (sf = 1.99 > 1.50) is safe, the eccentricity of the load that occurs (e = 0.79 m < 4.21 m), the bearing capacity of the soil or the soil stress that occurs (omax = 22.61 tons/m2 > 1.37 t/m2), (omin = 10.28 tons/m2 > 0.63 t/m2). Stability value in flood water conditions, stability against overturning (sf = 3.9 > 1.25) which is safe, stability against sliding (sf = 1.50 > 1.2) which is safe, eccentricity of the load that occurs (e = 0.87 m < 2.10 m), soil bearing capacity or the soil tension that occurs (omax=13.56 tons/m2 > 1.41 t/m2), (omin= 5.61 tons/m2 > 0.59 t/m2).

Abstract

Dam construction is very necessary for irrigation, raw water supply and flood control, the main requirement for its construction is its stability. If stability is not met, it will trigger dam safety problems such as leaks, seepage, landslides, erosion and cracks. So, it is necessary to plan capacity by measuring the elevation, area and volume of several layers by involving literature studies, determining data requirements, providing administrative requirements, data collection from related agencies, and site surveys as an illustration of field conditions. The data is processed to obtain cumulative volume and presented in a table. Analysis of the water capacity of the Budong- budong dam in Central Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi Province, is important in planning and managing water resources. The results of this research indicate that the Budong - Budong dam was built with a storage capacity of 57,284,568 m3 at an elevation of 70+. The dam was built using a type of rock fill dam with a clay core, due to the availability of sufficient rock material around the dam location.
