Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba menganalisa karakteristik lalu lintas jalan pada ruas Pinrang-Polman KM.15 dan membandingkan dengan model fundamental kecepatan-arus-kerapatan sebagaimana yang diusulkan oleh Greenshield, Greenberg dan Underwood. Abstract

Expansive clay soil is a soil that has poor soil properties in most parts of Indonesia. It has soil properties that easily absorb large amounts of water so that it has sensitivity to the influence of water and is very easy to expand. construction by adding stability material aims to increase the bearing capacity of the soil. using waste carbide and fly ash as a stabilizing agent. This study used 12% addition of waste carbide and variations of fly ash 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10% and 12.5% of the dry weight of the soil. From the results of this study, it was found that the compressive strength and shear strength test values with the addition of 7.5% fly ash + 12% carbide waste experienced a maximum increase, so that the maximum free compressive strength qu value was 1.145 kg/cm2 and the direct shear strength got the maximum shear strength value of 0.6688 kg/cm2.

Abstract

Irrigation system in paddy fields in Laliseng Village. distribute water to agricultural land by using gravity or allowing water to flow by itself in the field. This is considered ineffective because the channel used is only made simple without careful planning, this causes the water to flow more than the desired debit. And because this simple channel is unable to accommodate rainwater discharge, so that when it rains with high intensity the water can flow to the land instead of the channel it should be.Therefore it is necessary to analyze rainfall and channel discharge, to determine the design of irrigation canals that are in accordance with the planned flood discharge so that irrigation canals can work optimally. In conducting the research, primary data is collected in the form of channel dimensions and secondary data in the form of rainfall data and irrigation maps. The research results obtained trapezoidal channel dimensions with a channel width (b) of 1.4 m and a depth (h) of 0.60 m and accommodates a discharge channel of 1,166 m3/s.

Abstract

Clean water is a natural resource that is very important and vital for human life. By providing good clean water, it will support the improvement of people's health and welfare. The aim of this research is to analyze the total need and availability of clean water as well as reservoir capacity requirements. This research was conducted in Lakkang Village, Makassar City. In this research, the method used is quantitative descriptive, a study to determine the need for clean water, as well as reviewing the availability of water sources and the required reservoir capacity. Data analysis includes predictions of population, predictions of increase in PDAM customers as well as predictions of reservoir capacity. The results of the analysis state that the total need for clean water is 0,2434 liters/person/second and the availability of clean water is 1300 liters/second and the required reservoir capacity is 5,05 m3, which is smaller than the current capacity of 8 m3. The need and availability of clean water is still sufficient and reservoir capacity is still adequate in Lakkang Village, Makassar City until 2027.

Abstract

Danau Tempe sebagai salah satu sumber daya air di Indonesia memiliki permasalahan genangan permanen di kawasan permukiman. Masalah ini membatasi akses masyarakat terhadap sumber air bersih. Kajian ini mengkaji keterbatasan akses masyarakat terhadap air bersih di sekitar Danau Tempe dan strategi pengelolaan Danau Tempe sebagai sumber air bersih bagi masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey. Metode statistik deskriptif menggambarkan kondisi akses air masyarakat dan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akses air masyarakat sangat rendah sesuai dengan tiga indikator yaitu kualitas sumber air, lokasi sumber air bersih dan keberlanjutan ketersediaan air bersih. Hasil analisis strategi pengelolaan danau tempe sebagai sumber air bersih menunjukkan bahwa peran pemerintah lebih penting dibandingkan dengan lembaga swasta dan lembaga masyarakat. Strategi utama dalam pengelolaan air bersih adalah penyediaan pengolahan air secara komunal yang didukung oleh peran serta masyarakat. Lake Tempe as one of the water resources in Indonesia has permanent puddle problems in settlement area. This problem limits public access to clean water sources. This study reviews the society’s limited access of clean water around Lake Tempe and the management strategy of Lake Tempe as a source of clean water for the society. The research method is descriptive quantitative with survey approach. Descriptive statistical methods describe the condition of the society water access and the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process. The results showed that society water access was very low in accordance with the three indicators, namely the quality of water sources, the location of the source of clean water and the sustainability of the clean water availability. The analysis result of tempe lake management strategy as a source of clean water showed that government plays an important role compared with private institutions and society institutions. The main strategy in clean water management is the provision of communal water treatment supported by participation of the society

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the comparison of alternative modes of transportation for the most optimal transportation of goods from Bulukumba Regency to Makassar City using the AHP method. This study is quantitative and uses a survey approach. The results of this study indicate that Based on travel time, pickup is the fastest mode of freight transportation when compared to 2 axle trucks and 3- to 4-axle trucks. According to the volume of transport, the 345-axle truck is the best alternative mode of freight transportation and has a higher load capacity than 2 axle trucks and pick-ups. Meanwhile, pick-up is the most cost-effective mode of freight transportation when compared to 2 axle and 345 axle trucks. So, when looking at the criteria in terms of operational costs, travel time, range, and volume of transport, the 3-4-5 As truck is the most optimal alternative in choosing the capital for goods transportation on the Bulukumba Makassar route, followed by 2 As trucks, and finally, pick up.

Abstract

In the Tamalanrea sub-district area, when heavy rain fell on Makassar City, there were many locations where roads were flooded with water. As happened in the Perintis area, precisely on Jalan Perintis Independen (in front of door 1 Unhas), there was a puddle of water caused by the drainage channel not functioning optimally because the drainage channel was blocked and also unable to accommodate the high enough water flow. Hydrological analysis carried out Qcapacity calculations using the Manning formula and the results were compared with the requirements Qcapacity > Qplan to determine the capacity capacity of each channel section. The results of the research analysis showed that Qs = 0.529 < Qt = 0.762 for the left side drainage channel and Qs = 0.474 < Qt = 0.698 for the right side drainage channel was proven to be unable to carry the planned discharge so changes in dimensions were made to accommodate the existing discharge.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Berbas Pantai–Tanjung Laut Indah di Kota Bontang sebagai intervensi sosial yang bertujuan mengurangi ketimpangan spasial, meningkatkan aksesibilitas wilayah pesisir, dan memperkuat keadilan sosial dalam pembangunan kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix method dengan wawancara, survei, FGD, dan studi kepustakaan untuk menganalisis persepsi dan respons masyarakat terhadap pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Berbas Pantai–Tanjung Laut Indah secara komprehensif dan berkelanjutan. Studi ini menemukan bahwa pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Berbas Pantai–Tanjung Laut Indah di Kota Bontang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana peningkatan konektivitas fisik, tetapi juga merupakan bentuk intervensi sosial yang berkontribusi dalam mengurangi ketimpangan spasial, memperkuat kohesi sosial, dan meningkatkan aksesibilitas masyarakat pesisir. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat secara umum memiliki persepsi positif terhadap proyek ini, meskipun masih terdapat kesenjangan pemahaman mengenai tujuan dan manfaatnya secara menyeluruh. Oleh karena itu, keberhasilan pembangunan sangat ditentukan oleh pendekatan partisipatif, edukatif, serta integrasi dimensi sosial dan ekologis agar proyek ini benar-benar mewujudkan keadilan sosial dan pembangunan yang inklusif serta berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Berbas Pantai–Tanjung Laut Indah di Kota Bontang harus dipandang sebagai upaya strategis yang menyatukan dimensi fisik, sosial, dan ekologis untuk mewujudkan pembangunan kota yang lebih adil, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan. The purpose of this study is to analyze the construction of the Coastal-Tanjung Laut Indah Ring Road in Bontang City as a social intervention aimed at reducing spatial inequality, increasing coastal area accessibility, and strengthening social justice in urban development. This study uses a mix method approach with interviews, surveys, FGDs, and literature studies to analyze community perceptions and responses to the construction of the Coastal-Tanjung Laut Indah Ring Road in a comprehensive and sustainable manner. This study found that the construction of the Coastal-Tanjung Laut Indah Ring Road in Bontang City not only functions as a means of increasing physical connectivity, but is also a form of social intervention that contributes to reducing spatial inequality, strengthening social cohesion, and increasing accessibility for coastal communities. The findings show that the community generally has a positive perception of this project, although there is still a gap in understanding its overall goals and benefits. Therefore, the success of development is largely determined by a participatory, educational approach, and the integration of social and ecological dimensions so that this project truly realizes social justice and inclusive and sustainable development. Thus, the construction of the Coastal-Tanjung Laut Indah Ring Road in Bontang City must be seen as a strategic effort that unites physical, social and ecological dimensions to realize more just, inclusive and sustainable city development

Abstract

With the frequent occurrence of floods at the Graha Hibridah Amaro Housing Complex, Barru Regency, it is necessary to have an effort in the form of a flood control system to minimize flood events which result in material losses and claim lives and damage existing infrastructure around the watershed. The analysis carried out in this thesis is limited to the Bottolai River, Barru District, Barru Regency. The purpose of this research is to find a solution to the flood disaster that occurred in the area. This research was conducted by collecting secondary data in the form of watershed maps and rainfall data at the nearest rainfall station. The data is to determine the return period of rainfall and flood discharge of the river. After that, by analyzing the capacity of the river channel, it can be concluded for the flood control system in the area. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the peak flood discharge using the Nakasyu method was 36.09 m3/sec, while the capacity of the Kanci River channel was 13.5 m3/sec. From the results of this analysis it can be concluded that the Kanci River has the potential to flood. So it is necessary to find a solution for flood control in the form of changing the dimensions of the drainage channel.
