Abstract

The conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural purposes is a common phenomenon occurring almost everywhere in Indonesia. One of the less-considered impacts of land conversion is the decline of agricultural land. Consequently, food crop yields also decrease, affecting the nation's food security in a permanent manner. This study aims to determine and analyze whether agricultural land conversion has a significant impact on rice production levels and to determine and analyze whether agricultural land conversion has a significant impact on food security in Lampah Village. A quantitative method using SPSS 25 with classical assumption tests and simple linear regression analysis was employed, using data obtained from books, journals, interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Based on the simple linear regression test between variable X (Land Conversion), variable Y1 (Rice Production), and variable Y2 (Food Security), it was found that there is an influence between land conversion and rice production, but there is no influence between land conversion and food security. For future researchers, the study can be further developed by adding or modifying variable Y.

Abstract

Bhayangkara Hospital Jambi City is one of the hospitals that will be the best hospital in Jambi City. With the Bhayangkara Hospital in Jambi City, it is expected to help the community, especially in health services. The purpose of this study is to create a web-based Dokpol information system so that registration errors do not occur or loss occurs. Registration is registering/filling in biodata for registration as a patient. To manage this information, we need a system that will assist the process of making registration data reports. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach, namely a research approach that is descriptive in nature and tends to use analysis. Process and meaning are highlighted in qualitative research. Design and Build a web-based Registration Information System is made using the programming language php 5.1 and MYSQL 4.8.4 database. The results of this study are to design a web-based Dokpol information system that is expected to help inform patient registration, check results with the system, generate patient reports and produce examination reports, can facilitate the decision-making process, be able to provide information about patient data, doctor data. , as well as reports appropriately with the availability of timely, accurate, and relevant information that can assist staff and officers in carrying out registration activities and is expected to improve the performance of employees.

Abstract

Penguasaan keterampilan berpikir kritis (critical thinking) merupakan salah satu soft skill yang sangat penting bagi generasi muda dalam mempersiapkan diri menghadapi dunia kerja dan dunia usaha. Keterampilan ini memungkinkan individu untuk menganalisis informasi secara objektif, menyelesaikan masalah dengan cara yang rasional, serta membuat keputusan yang tepat dan efektif. Di era globalisasi yang serba cepat dan kompetitif ini, kemampuan berpikir kritis menjadi kunci untuk beradaptasi dan berhasil dalam berbagai sektor industri. Artikel ini membahas peran penting keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam membentuk pola pikir inovatif dan solutif bagi generasi muda, serta bagaimana pendidikan dan pelatihan dapat mendukung pengembangannya. Diharapkan dengan penguasaan keterampilan ini, generasi muda dapat lebih siap dan percaya diri dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja dan dunia usaha yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology that plays an important role in the contemporary era, especially in the industrial sector. The Internet of Things allows remote access of physical objects at any time and from any location, simply by establishing an internet connection. Thus, in the control and monitoring of motors remotely, IoT allows adjusting the speed and direction of rotor rotation. The motor used is a 0.75 kW Siemens induction motor. To adjust the speed and direction of rotor rotation of the motor, a Sinamic G120 programmable logic controller S7-1200 VSD is programmed via TIA Portal to serve as the central controller for all induction motor control. A multi-interface system consisting of a KTP 700 Comfort HMI, a PC server, and clients in the form of PC and smartphone clients was used for control and monitoring of the induction motor. The visual interface of the HMI interface was designed using TIA Portal, while the visual interface of the server and client was designed using Node-RED. The PC server, PLC, HMI, and VSD are all connected via Ethernet. At the same time, the connection of the Internet of Things (IoT) client, which is integrated with the server, is connected via the Internet network. Research on IoT-based control and monitoring of induction motors through the Node-RED proposal has been successful and works as intended
